“I took some business partners to dinner here. The food was so-so. Pretty basic hibachi, nothing special. I got steak, and they ordered everything else on the menu - shrimp, fish, chicken, scallops, a few sushi rolls, etc. If you’re wanting better food, drive an hour to Bowling Green, KY and hit up Yuki. But this was convenient and I didn’t want to spend an hour in the car with these guys.“

“Red Ninja is an excellent sushi spot. There are a ton of options ranging from traditional nigiri and sashimi preparations to complex, creative rolls. The quality of the fish is amazing, the service is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable.“

The beef tartare is a MUST as are the onigiri for appetizers. The caramel miso Creme brulee has amazing depth and is on point across all categories. The venue is small, so you may have to wait but it is WELL worth it!“

“I love this place, mom and pop owned. Great food, friendly service. Prices are great. For what you would pay at a fast food for junk you can have real meat, veggies and rice. Hands down a much better option. They cook everything fresh to order and have drive thru!!“

“This is FAST, GOOD food. It's kinda surprising how good it is. Elvis is the owner and he really knows what he's doing. High quality ingredients and you can taste it when you take your first bite. He's got his team trained well. Every single time, it's perfection.

Oh, and the cheapest place in town for scallops!

Not much on atmosphere, but I found out that most of their business is drive through. Good for them. If you're a drive through kind of person, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food here.“

“This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Nashville. And always has been since I was little. The food is still really good there, even to this day. However, the biggest reason I love coming here is because of Bruce. He is the man. He is so energetic, funny, and entertaining to his customers. He's been cooking it out for 43 years, and it amazes me how he is still there today. Sadly, he wasn't the cook at my table yesterday, but I did get to say hello to him. I will be back again sometime, and hopefully, he'll be our cook 😁“

“I give this place a 9 out of 10. The food is served at a reasonable price. Comes out at a great temperature cooked perfectly. The one point deduction is from the fried rice. It is a bit bland but when mixed in with the teriyaki or hibachi it comes to life but I wouldn't eat it on its own. The dumplings Are also cooked to perfection the perfect amount of soft and crispy. The staff is very nice and easy on the eyes. I would definitely eat here again. It has a great flavor profile and isn't that what matters the most. I also tried the Miso soup but I don't miso soup only tried it because it was so cheap and you never know.“

“We have had take out many times prior tonight and always a delicious meal. Unfortunately tonight was not! My meal was a large beef,noodles and vegetables. The plate was 80% noodles, 10 % beef, which was tasteless and chewy, % 20 vegetables which were tasteless. Will have to rethink ordering again.
Well we ordered again and the meals for both of us were outstanding! I take back what the meal prior to tonight was about. Beef was not chewy, a nice mix mixture of veggies and noodles. You have won me back to your drive for excellent food and service. 👏👏👏“

“The ratio of food and rice is perfect imo. I ended up with no leftovers by just getting an entree. The food is cooked very well. Loved the Basil Stir Fry with Tofu. Great place for everyone including vegetarians. The Thai Coffee is sweet. My friends liked the red curry and the fried rice so I would recommend.“

“First off, let me start with the service. The staff were welcoming and kind. The inside decor was clean and the vibe was inviting. A true hidden gem, this place had barely anyone inside but anyone who entered couldn’t help but smile and have fun as they were being treated by servers with infectious smiles and positive attitudes. Now onto our next subject. The food… My goodness did the food come out quick and they did not sacrifice quality food for good service either. The Crab Rangoon might have been the best appetizer I have ever eaten. It came out in a mere two minutes after ordering and then the main dish I had was Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. The fried rice was soft, sweet and hot. Everyone needs to visit Poy Thai, I left with a new type of joy I have never felt before. When Jesus comes back He needs to visit Poy Thai.“

“The service is great.The food is eehh.The prices are way over priced and I can’t say it was worth it. They didn’t wow me for what we paid. It wasn’t bad. Just not good.The salmon was way over cooked and too salty.The lettuce wraps were also a bit over priced.It is just a bit too much for us. We are used to resort prices. But wow.Drinks were good! It is really loud in here as well especially at night with people walking around everywhere.“

I place a call to Rice box they said my food was already done it wasn't but a few minutes after I placed order.. when the order got picked up they said that it was cooked extra spicy and extra crispy. pitched the food will not be back.“

“7pm on a Saturday night, not busy but slow service. The goyza tasted "fishy" (do they put seaweed in the goyza here? That seems strange if they do), the sushi was ok but was unevenly cut leading to some comically large bites. The ramen comes with a fried egg, which just doesn't hit as well as a marinated ramen egg and the katsu pork I'm pretty sure what just a sysco pre-breaded pork chop which wasn't especially tender or flavorful. I have had better experiences here in the past but it fell way short of the mark this time. Also they seem to have some strange obsession with putting asparagus in almost everything, so if you love asparagus this may be your jam but I don't find it works great in sushi rolls.“

“Yesterday we had a fabulous dinner at KOI SUSHI THAI, EAST in Nashville….. it was wonderful! We started with Squid Salad and Gyoza then ate our way through totally yummy Crab Bang, YumYum, Eel Nigiri, White Tuna, & Sweet Shrimp… crunchy and delicious! Then we topped it off with Mochi ice cream! Every bite was better than we’ve had in a long time on the road! We had a “Trainee” server…and the rest of their friendly staff helped her provide superior attention! So glad we found KOI SHSHI THAI early in our stay herein Nashville! We’ll be back!“

“We ended up here as a last minute change of plans for our 7 year wedding anniversary dinner. Don't judge me. We had the best first time experience at MoriMori than I think we've ever had as far as first times go. We'd never been here before. Our waiter was fantastic!! He had suggestions from the drinks to the appetizers and our meal! The food we had was absolutely amazing! So many new flavors in my mouth. I cannot say enough, this place was a 10!!! We will absolutely be back!!!“
