“When I'm doing a road trip, I can always depend on Cracker Barrel for good food and friendly service when I'm in a hurry and want something more than drive thru. I've been a Cracker Barrel fan since my grand parents would take me to the very first store in Lebanon, Tennessee when I was a kid.“

“We went tonight for my mom’s birthday and our Waitress, Jen, was absolutely AMAZING!!! She interacted with all of us so well and cut up and chatted with us and we never had to “want” for anything. Way to go with a restaurant name. I had a burrito salad which came with very fresh veggie salad and hubby had a tasty French Dip-gone healthy: lean Angus Beef, swiss cheese, and sauteed onions, served with au jus. “Food was good except the fire roasted corn, which I love was really dry. It needs to be dipped in melted butter before adding the toppings that didn't have very much on it. I got the lamb chops, and my husband got a flos filet. Both were overcooked. The asparagus was good. They gave me a small cup of the creamed spinach, but it is not creamed. The strawberry daiquiri was good and the baked potato. The service was good.“

Got my weird ex Applebees cook request exactly right, and the food was spot on regardless how inexpensive. Homeboy got sat with 4 tables within 5 minutes and handled it like a champ. “On 9/7 my husband and I visited Joe’s Crab Shack in Pigeon Forge. We looked over the menu and there wasn’t much of a Gluten Free option. (My husband has celiac disease). We asked our waitress who was the sweetest some questions and instead of guessing she said I’m going to ask the kitchen staff. Within a matter of minutes the manager came out and asked my husband what he would like. And they went over the menu and the manager and my husband were able to come up with a very delicious Gluten free dinner!! The manager (I didn’t get his name) was fantastic!!! He didn’t make my husband feel unwelcome or a bother! It was our first time ever there and we will definitely be back! Very accommodating and very polite! And the food was GREAT!!! “Great experience! Smoked chicken was the most flavor throughout and the seasoning was perfect. My dining buddy had the 10oz sirloin Steak, baked potato, and side salad. “Mozzerella sticks are a MUST! They are homemade and enough as an appetizer for two. Next, we had the loaded baked potato cooked perfect, with pork, which was also perfect. The brisket platter was next. It was cut to weight, so my slice was too thin to actually judge flavor. There was just not enough weight there to justify 25$. I was able to roll up my little slice like deli meat. I would love to go back one day and give a true judgment of it. The apple cobbler was also amazing. Service was absolutely outstanding. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It was served on a styrophome plate. I'm not too much of a fan of that. The atmosphere definitely gave me a good comfortable feeling.“

Son ordered the Wyoming omelet, which came with bacon, sausage, ham, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. It also came with hashbrowns and toast. Hubby ordered the Country Skillet, which came with Hashbrowns topped with 2 biscuits, 2 over easy eggs, sausage gravy, and pepper jack cheese. It also came with toast. “I have visited the Steak N' Shake multiple times in the past few months with good service every time. The same lady is at the checkout window. She is very efficient. There are always napkins and ketchup in the bag. Nothing is ever missing. She is pleasant as well. The food tastes good. Everything is always as it should be. I highly recommend it.“
