“One afternoon on my laptop at Seed Coffee Knoxville was all it took to realize I’d found the best coffee shop in Knoxville for getting real remote work done. The place nails the sweet spot between lively and distraction‑free—something not all Knoxville coffee shops manage. First thing that hooked me? The Sonos speakers. In addition to giving quality sound, they have good placement. They sit down low, not too far from ear level. Most of the other coffee shops in Knoxville mount them up high like they do in department stores. Their better placement results in a full, warm sound that fills the room without having to turn the volume to 11—immersing you in the sound while remaining distraction free. Small detail. Huge difference. The layout and decor sets Seed apart. It's set in a daylight basement with windows on one side, letting in constant natural light to keep you awake while still maintaining the cozy nook atmosphere that we all love about the best coffee shops. The shop is split into two rooms, letting you choose between vibes. Oftentimes, one is more chatty while the other room remains quiet. Plus, they keep a little jungle’s worth of plants that lets the room breathe. The furnishing is just as flexible. You can sink into a leather couch, perch on a high bar stool (I use this as a standing desk), or settle in at one of the many two-tops. Their coffee holds its own. I’m a black‑drip guy and theirs pours smooth. No burnt bite. No weird aftertaste. Order “for here” and they hand you a ceramic mug. A warm touch that carries quality. And fast Wi-Fi, too. “The last times I’ve visited coffee shops around Knoxville, the experiences Jacobean great-drinks either overflow with too much coffee, milk, or creamer, or they’re just a bit off. That’s why I started going to Scooter’s , and every single time my Oreo Blender has been perfect. I usually swap out whole milk for almond milk at other places, but Scooter’s does such amazing job that I can enjoy it with whole milk and it still tastes fantastic. “It had a decent amount of people but I cant judge since its school finals week, but I had the Barnstable make me a surprise coffee and it was delicious, the coffee was a caramel apple pie latte. Awsome atmosphere, nice and cozy. Service was quick and really sweet. Highly recommend!!“

“Nice coffee shop with plenty of space for work or to visit with friends. We ordered the iced latte with white mocha and a peach Italian soda. The latte was delicious! The italian soda had a very light flavor so we requested a few more pumps and that helped sweeten/flavor it up a bit, so if you’re wanting a super flavorful drink you may want to add more pumps/multiple flavors.“

“Staying at a nearby hotel with limited breakfast choices, I made the short walk to Just Love Coffee and it did not disappoint. I had a spinach and feta womelette, and my only regret was not getting the salsa (instead of sour cream). Very light and fluffy omelette with the perfect amount of spinach. The coffee was suburb. I drink decaf and ordered a latte. When the barista asked for milk options, she suggested oat milk (her favorite). It did not disappoint and now I’m a convert! So yummy. I will definitely come back when I’m here and try the lunch options next.“

“I am actually a bit saddened after today. I love this place and come here ALMOST daily for about two years, I had to delete my great review to create this one. Yesterday I ordered a hazelnut truffle mocha drink, about half way home I took my first drink and realized it was not hazelnut truffle but banana, after a couple more sips to make sure I wasn’t tripping I couldn’t take it and almost a whole coffee went down the drain. So today I went back, nicely let the guy know they messed my drink up and he didn’t offer to make it right, so I paid for my drink and that was that. After two years of being a loyal customer, not just me but also my husband and all his employees, I figured it would be a give in replace the drink they messed up, I’ve never once complained and actually this was the first time they got my drink wrong, so I was shocked by the lack of “let me make this right” mentality. Still love this place, but I think they outta make sure customers get what they paid for.“

I’ve had so many wonderful family memories there with my grandkids and one son and daughter. They also make the best Boba tea that I’ve had in either Sevier or Knox County. I love that they have the swing for the kids and the outside entertainment and the fire pits and outside heat for when it’s cold.“

“This location is amazing! I was running super late for work and thought I put my coffee order and Lo and behold I did not! I put it in,

when I pulled in the parking lot. When I walked in they were working on a HUGE coffee order and I said can I cancel? I don’t have time to wait. The barista said no worries I’ll make it right now!
