“The individual that waited on us was fantastic! She was full of energy and enthusiasm and made us feel extremely welcome! It was a little slow when we were there, but I think it was merely because they appeared only to have two on staff at the moment and may have been during a break period. Nonetheless, the service was great! Our drinks were made fresh and exactly as we ordered.

Another thing I truly appreciate is that Dutch Bros stays open later for those that want coffee after 8 PM. All other competitors close by 8 or 9 so the fact that they are open later is awesome!“

“First: I’m extremely picky about my lattes. I am sensitive to overcooked (burnt taste) beans and undercooked (sour taste) beans. I have gone here repeatedly for iced lattes and they have always provided the perfect texture and balance. They are by far (and I don’t say this lightly) providing the BEST espresso in Nashville. Second: What truly makes this cafe great is that it’s the only cafe in town that makes you feel like you’re wanted. All of these cafes built in the last 20 years are hard, cold and sterile. If you’re younger than 40, you probably don’t even remember that cafes used to be warm, social, inviting and a home for many people. New cafes are so uninviting and I feel it’s done on purpose to get you to leave so more customers come in. But the Daily Grind? It’s homey, has couches, the walls are filled with all sorts of crafty love and plants and there’s a poster on the front that lets you know this is a SAFE space for all. It’s reminiscent of the old days when you had warm social spaces where you could spend hours every day with friends playing games, drawing, talking and no one glued to their phones. I hope this cafe gets to expand and provide even more of this nostalgic homey feel and bring that needed community experience back to Nashville. “I had the pleasure of ordering from here through Postmates. I had the ham and cheese croissant and the Santa coffee (peppermint mocha) with almond milk. the croissant was buttery, flaky and delicious! the coffee was delicious and very even flavored. will definitely be going to see them in person and ordering again!“
