I have ordered from Panda Express many times because of its strict hygiene code. I used to work there a a teenager so I know every branch competes for cleanliness. The food has always been a mediocre cheap imitation of authentic Chinese food. The rice is has always had a cheap oil foiling taste. The meat is always over cooked. The chow mane is always rubbery after taste. Panda is what you get when there isn't any other options.
The food is delicious when they have the well-trained person prepare it. I don't know if it is the product or the employee, but the food is terribly inconsistent. When it is bad, there is either a bad flavor or no flavor in my favorite items.

Like somebody else said in here all Panda Express’s are knock off versions of real Chinese food so you shouldn’t expect anything extravagant about the fast food restaurant. The orange chicken does not taste good in my opinion, it’s just too sweet and very doughy. On the other hand, the kung Pao chicken with chow mein is a pretty good choice.
