“The head hostess noticed I was hard of hearing and told the seating hostess to take us to the quieter table. Our server was attentive and the food was excellent. From Appetizer to Entre (Apricot glazed Pork Chop) to Crème Brûlée…wonderful.Thank you for a great experience, J Alexander’s.“
“If you come here I would advise getting here when they open or making a reservation. They are that popular and for good reason. Their food is excellent and their staff is top notch. If you are looking for something for a special day like birthday or anniversary then this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.“
“I ordered the bistro chicken—it was hands down THE BEST chicken I have ever eaten! The lemon and caper sauce on the chicken was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent—our waiter, Chris, was fantastic. We had a party of 8 and each person in our party left with full bellies of delicious food. 10/10 recommend!“
“Went tonight with some friends because we wanted a ladies' night somewhere interesting, and it did not disappoint! We ordered an obscene amount of food and ended up taking a ton home. Everything was really good, the service was wonderful, and we all tried something new! A wonderful place to go if you're looking for a fun and delicious dinner!“
“The Superfood Salad was a welcomed change from the food we eat on the road as tourists. Full of taste, and it left me full of the essential nutrients I was missing after a couple of days on the road. Got the Steak Tacos too since I do OMAD, they were equally satisfying.Even left my phone on the table. It was found by the staff and returned to us as we walked away. Truly a wonderful experience in every sense. Thanks again, Eric, that was above the call!“
“We had an incredible dinner over Easter weekend! Jorge took the BEST CARE OF US!!!! Everything was perfectly prepared and presented! Best shrimp and grits we have ever had!!! The prime rib was wonderful! Could not have had a better meal anywhere!! Always a crowd pleaser for our family!“
“I know I was really hungry, but everything tasted really good tonight. I started eating before taking my pictures of the food, LOL. The calamari was perfectly cooked and was a great appetizer. I got the chicken pad Thai bento, which came with some california roll sushi which was great! The rice was moist enough, which many places don't get it right. Most other places the rice is too dry. Maybe a bit more vinegar flavor, but now I'm just getting picky. The spring roll was nice, the chicken pad Thai was outstanding with a lot of flavor. It may have been a bit more "wet" than I am used to, but it was really good. Staff was really friendly and attentive with their service. Will definitely be back if I am in the area again.“
“I drive past this place from work time to time. I finally decided to check it out. I didn’t know what to expect. Of course, others have said from the outer appearance nothing much, you wonder what it’s like. Walking in is def a low-lit restaurant with a fish tank center of the room. Go around and server is there to seat you. They have a live tank full of Lobster and Crabs. They have a displayed freezer with take home product you can cook at home. There is a small bar and def enough room for family or groups. They also serve Pho. Full menu of dishes and platters of mixed sea food. Louisiana style and mixed Asian fusion. They do have a sit-down bar but serves beer only until they get their liquor license. Keep note that they will have shipment of the fresh crabs and lobster mostly weekends so best to go on weekends. Weekdays choices are limited on seafood since they get them live. I came on a Tues which was limited on choices of what they had on the menu when wanting the family platter mix. I couldn’t get any mixed platters of shrimp or seafood due to lack of current supply but when they get it, it goes fast.So will say I never ordered a live crab from a tank to have for dinner. I treated myself. I never had a whole crab to myself before. Usually just legs. Server was so nice to come over and help me since I didn’t know what I was doing. She brought scissors and helped/showed me how it’s done. I’m glad she helped because I didn’t know how to get into the head of the crab or know what parts to eat! Very sweet of her to show me. The flavors are amazing. The sausage was REALLY good and came with potato and corn. Wish little more of the sides. Only got 1 potato, 1 corn and 2 sausages. Not enough pieces of that for what I’m paying. Another restaurant I’ve had a lobster tail with bunch of sides so be nice to get a little more bang for your buck instead of just a crab if spending over $30. Overall I will say I’ll be back to check to check out weekend vibes and may update you on here of what weekends are like.Sunday March 24th: I came back for round 2. This time I got the lobster along with starter of gumbo. Did not disappoint. Had the same nice server. Picked a nice size lobster for me. They must have read my review previous cause I got more corn and sausage with potatoes! I’ve posted the lobster pics with the seafood gumbo. I’ve shown phots and shared with friends of my experience and they all want to try this place now. One question a friend asked, can they buy a live crab or lobster to take home and prepare themselves? Idk but I will say you’d be missing out the seasoning they put on and way they cook it is fresh and packs flavor town. Another nice feature is they have a wash station to get your hands cleaned once demolishing your meal if you decide not to use gloves. Next visit will be the seafood combo platter with a couple of friends. So far best place in Nashville for fresh seafood in my book. I also support local business so come check this place out.“
“Way to go Juicy Seafood!!!! I went to Jamaica in February, an island and the Lobster was terrible. Today I drove from Cornersville to Smyrna to try Juicy Seafood for the first time and wow was it the best damn Seafood ever. My crab was not stuck in the shell, the shrimp were big, the lobster was good. The seasoning was great. We are in a landlocked state and they should not even know how to cook seafood. The customer service was great. Very satisfied. Only thing is the graffiti is a bit much. Should not be all over the actual decor. Walls and decorations is too much. Otherwise fabulous place. Worth my drive and being stuck in traffic on I 65 for over an hour and 1/2.“
“I was under the impression all American- Mexican food joints were basically the same. This one is a little different. My go to is the chimicanga and typically it comes out mooshy with the queso on top and some dry shredded chicken inside but this one arrived crunchy with queso on the side, tendy chunks of chicken and peppers and cheese inside. Best one I've ever had. Also the salsa was different than I've had before. The staff was friendly but was a little slow on service even though there were only 4 or 5 tables seated.Definitely would return.“
“I read another review that stated the ceviche was better than the chips and salsa (a bit blander than a good store bought version). I noticed other tables would get the ceviche upon seating, but I assume non Hispanic people get an American version. Anyway, the mariachi band was playing which was a nice surprise…a bit loud to hear your guests speaking, but it seems to bring in a lot of happiness from all the guests. We ordered a seafood tower, steak fajitas (cheap, bland cut of meat) and some octopus. The sauce almost reminded me of a dipping sauce for crab legs and it paired so well with the tender octopus. Yum! The seafood paella on the tower was too mushy to enjoy. Crab legs were cooked to long or something cause the meat was difficult to remove from the shell and they were lukewarm. The shrimp was not deveined ? and the mussels could of been left off.No sweet tea available.I did see a whole fried fish that I would have loved to try, but being it was our first time going based off social media it wasn’t that bad.Great for large gatherings.“
“10/10! I was craving catfish & found this gem! This was my first time eating at Bones. I called in my order over the phone, the lady that took my order was patient & friendly! I got the catfish plate, double spaghetti, & the fruit tea! (Lol, I’ve never had fruit tea before but it was GOOD!!) I should’ve gotten a large. Food was a GREAT amount for the price. I will DEFINITELY be a loyal customer.“
“My truck started over heating so I pulled off the road into the first place I saw. It happened to be this place. The people in there offered help and gave me water to put in the truck. They even offered to call a mechanic. Right when I was leaving they gave me a piece of watermelon, chicken wing, and one more thing I’ve never tried before. The food was delicious and I was extremely impressed with them for helping a stranger in need. I will return for a full meal as soon as possible. Thank you Hot Spot!“
“My mom and I were in Franklin shopping and I had a taste for wings. Jefferson's popped up in my search and was close to my location. From the drinks to the wings to the mac n cheese... everything we had at Jefferson's was great. Def will be going back.“
“I ordered online and my order didn’t come through in their system. Tres the assistant manager and the young lady that was working the bar (blonde Hair) went above and beyond to get my problem fixed and my order out promptly. I would recommend this place a thousand times over from the food to the service. I most definitely will be back. Thanks again Tres!“
“We decided to stop in and try Helen’s for the first time and we are so glad we did. We had the catfish combo, chicken tender combo, gizzards and spicy fried pickles. The breading on everything as great! The flavor was great. The gizzards and chicken tenders were mild and just right. (We couldn’t watit to dig into the tenders before taking a photo.) The catfish we ordered plain and the seasoning is anything, but plain. The breading isn’t thick and overwhelming. The spicy pickles are a must! We also had their okra and fries as side and these were cooked well. We also tried the fruit tea which was a bit sweet, but goes very well with the spice. We’ll definitely be back!“
“Always a great place to eat. I will not eat at any other Mexican restaurants. They always get our very difficult orders right. It's always fresh and hot and on time.Vegetarian options: You can ask to make just about any option without meat or even without cheese. I don't eat either and I have about 3 things that are completely free of animal products. Tastes great too.Kid-friendliness: They have about 5 options to choose from for kids menu. I have a picky eater and she lives the tenders and the rice.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an entrance just for wheelchair accessibility.“
“This is the kinda place you don’t wanna write a review for so that it stays under the radar, but I feel too much guilt not spreading the good word, and the word is GOOD.I have eaten here countless times, it is my all time favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to. If I could eat here, and only here, until I died, it would be pure heaven.Best tacos you can get outside of that one taco truck you know of in Mexico, or just the best tacos you’ll ever have. All while being unbelievably cheap.Their pupusas give me strength to go on, their tostada de ceviche gives me faith, and their tacos continually fill my spirit.Additionally, every staff member they’ve ever had has been so kind, helpful, and joyous. I have so many priceless memories with my best friends and family here, I genuinely hope it’s the last meal I ever have. Please, do yourself a favour and go as many times as possible before your body can carry you no further, because a stomach full of Las Americas will carry over into the great beyond?“
“It was empty when I went, for lunch around 2-230. We sat ourselves and were greeted by an older gentlemen, who pretty much told us what to get. And I've been to places like that before, on a first visit, unless you have allergies, ALWAYS go with what the owner/chef tells you. Anyway, food comes out and he brings out some basil, lime, and lettuce, and just starts throwing stuff in our soups. I admit, I was sketched out and a little annoyed, but he had us try the soup before and after. It was good before...but great after, so let him throw whatever on/in your food.If I wasn't just visiting, I'd hit this spot at least once a week.“
“? IT WAS SO SUPER GOOD10/10 would recommend!!!-I’ve experienced some heavy hitters as far as seafood restaurants go (from Biloxi,ms to Houston Texas ) and this is TOP 10-I ordered potatoes, corn, blue crabs, mussels, and clams with the house special sauce medium !!!(crawfish isn’t in season right now)-There isn’t a lot of places here that are like (OMG I GOTTA GO BACK!!)-BUT THIS IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES FOR ME, I’ll be back forsure!!!-A BIT PRICEY, buttt what do you expect we’re in a land lock state and it’s Nashville ?Gotta pay to playPs. Service was very attentive ?????“
“Stopped in for a quick bite. The chicken teriyaki skewer appetizer was good and big. I also got their lomein. I give them 5 stars. Everything was hot, and good. Couldn't ask for more from a take out restaurant. They do have a couple of tables which is nice.. i didn't have to sit in my car to eat.“
“Love the food and the service. I'd loved it if the music wasn't loud. But they are going for the party vibes, so, I guess loud music makes sense. I'd definitely go there again.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available just like any other Mexican restaurant.“
