The vegetable fried rice, Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein, and chicken and broccoli were all excellent—fresh, flavorful, and with generous portions. “How refreshing to find an Indian buffet again that is actually delicious. House of India may very well now be the beat Indian Reataurant in the Nashville area. Friendly staff, appropriately flavorful and spicy dishes (even on the buffet). So many buffets I've been to in recent years are overly sweet and bland. Not this place. If you used to go to Bombay Palace more than a decade ago, this is like that. Same owners in fact. So good.“

“Menu: slightly different from what you see on their website, so we were taken aback at first, but a lot of overlaps

Food: delicious! Forgot to take pictures of half of the things we ordered, but the table favorites were Burrata, Pesto, Focaccia. Everything we ordered tasted great.

Staff: Was friendly, but one of our guests ordered a fish entree and while they were bringing out everyone’s plates, our server told him to choose something else as they were out of that fish. I think they could have reached out to us earlier. However, they were extremely accommodating to our ever changing guest list and kept adding more tables to accommodate everyone.

Service: they don’t let you split the check more than 6 ways, so if you’re going there in large parties, be ready to Venmo each other.

Parking: plenty of parking spots right outside the establishment.

Vibe: other patrons were pretty quiet and nice. Overall, ambiance was great. Loved the chic decor of the place. The bar area is rather large but no noisy patrons there either.

Overall, very pleased with my experience. Would go again!

“I have been wanting to go here and finally got the chance. We pulled up and my wife wasn't sure about it. It is a small, unpretentious looking place but once she opened the door it was all over but the eating. Kenji, Saundra and the staff were very gracious, helpful and friendly. We arrived at 4 PM to miss the crowd. We started with fried rice which was the best I've had in years. Then my wife had the noodles and pork and I had the bibimap skillet. The flavors were mouthwatering. No other way to describe it. Don't think about it. Just go if you can. My new favorite spot around Nashville. They were even featured on Diners, Drive Inns and Dives.“

“Tonight my friends and I had the pleasure of being served by Anna at J. Alexander’s in Franklin, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we sat down at the bar, she greeted us with a friendly smile and made us feel comfortable right away!

Our cocktails were excellent. Each one was perfectly mixed, presented beautifully, and tasted great. Anna was attentive without hovering, checking in at the right times and making sure we had everything we needed. She remembered our drink preferences after just one order and kept our waters filled without us having to ask. She also offered helpful suggestions for cocktails we might enjoy, which we really appreciated.

We come to J. Alexander’s a couple of times a week and have always had good service, but Anna stood out. She is professional, approachable, and clearly takes pride in her work! The atmosphere at the bar felt even more welcoming because of her.

It is not just about the drinks, it is about the overall experience, and Anna made ours great from start to finish. We truly enjoyed having her as our bartender and will definitely be asking for her again on future visits.

“Brentwood is beyond high maintenance. And don’t be fooled by the 4 star or less reviews. If you read those reviews, they are docking this place for trivial things. The truth is, Puffy Muffin nails every aspect of a first class bakery and brunch style menu. But alas, the Brentwood egotists are gonna hate. Excellent chicken salad! Fantastic hash brown casserole! And the bakery items are top notch. So delectable. I’ve never had anything bad or disappointing here. And if it’s not up to your expectation, they always want to make it right.“

“Saw a review of Everest Restaurant and Bar and saw they served Nepali, Indian, and Bhutanese cuisines. I’ve never had Nepali food and looked forward to learning how different it was from Indian foods. My server Sushmita took my drink order, and I wanted to try a Gorkha Beer from Nepal. Sadly, they were out of Gorkha so I went with Taj Mahal beer from India…a very good lager. I wanted to try a variety of different items and informed Sushmita my spice level was mild, so I ordered the following: Chicken Momo JHOL. I’m still not sure if this is a soup or a dumpling stew. The Momo are pretty big, and there were eight of them in this dish. I would rank this “soup” as one of the best soups I’ve ever enjoyed and would order this again and make this my meal! The Lamb Thali is a platter made up of several different dishes which are supposed to create a balanced meal. I cannot remember what Sushmita called each little cup of food or sauce on the tray but the lamb was to be eaten with one, two, or many of the side sauces or garnishments. The lamb was slightly overcooked but wasn’t tough and overall this was still a good dish and an experience in itself. I did figure out the small round ball is the dessert item called Gulab Jamun…OMG it was rich, sweet, and delicious. The place is not much to look at on the inside but it is clean, and while Sushmita and I may have experienced some communication issues, she took great care of me. There are a few more interesting noodle dishes here I would love to try on my next visit.“

I am writing this review to talk about a Karen who was in front of us in line that was being a Karen on her phone while the employee was telling her what can I get her and she was a being very rude. This was around Monday May 19th at 6PM. She was making things difficult and holding the line up. The employees did a good job trying to deal with the Karen.
