“This was some of the best BBQ I've ever had!!! We found this place on a whim from the good reviews it had and decided to stop here during a cross-country trip. It was honestly a highlight of the entire trip. The food was amazing. The service was top-notch with some of the friendliest people you could find. The atmosphere was very quaint and cozy, and you could even see the cook hauling out pounds of meat to the smokers. I recommend everyone stop here if you have the chance.“

“For a sit down restaurant it has mixed vibes. It's not a full service restaurant but not a fast food restaurant either. Felt very different than the layout suggests. When ordering it feels like a McDonald's, Wendy's, or raising canes fast food restaurant. Walk in stand in line order food at register then collect your number and seat yourself and get your drinks from the fountain dispenser. Then someone sets the table you sit at another bring your food to the table.
Next was the food being good and had decent quality for the price. However while my pulled pork sandwich was full and adequate I don't suggest the burger. My wife's burger while good flavor was as small as a burger at McDonald's. And for the price I think it should be a bit larger. It also appears to be a frozen burger not freshly made. But with good seasoning it was good.
Fried Mac and cheese balls were really good and the chilli was delicious. Fix the burger and you are on to something!!“

Food was excellent. I got the brisket nachos over home made kettle chips and they were amazing. The meat was tender and flavorful and the chips excellent. I had plenty to take home!!

This place is a regular for my son and he had brisket something and my husband had a pork sandwich.

“Lived in Tennessee for 4 years now. Had some “okay” BBQ here and there. Some dude had a smoker at an old gas station, that kinda thing. It was all bland and overly salty. Famous Dave’s is excellent. You can taste the wood smoke in the brisket. The house BBQ sauce is really good. Great pork ribs. Best BBQ we have found in Tennessee.“

I already have positive feelings about Buddy’s Bar-B-Q because it was so much fun and felt so special to go as a child with my grandparents. I didn’t love having to go to the one connected to a gas station but we made it work. When my children, grandfather and I were running errands in the area we were ecstatic to find a Buddy’s in Clinton and stopped in to eat. The food was very typical for Buddy’s (not complaining) but I don’t remember being offered extra meat for a little more money on the order we usually place at the other Buddy’s. I assume the person taking the orders was learning and I don’t hold that against them. It will come in time. What really stood out to us was the atmosphere. It was outstandingly beautiful! The bathrooms were quite clean and it was nice to see an employee wiping tables down and making an effort to maintain the cleanliness of the dining area while we ate. I appreciated that the employee wiped things down, gathered used trays and didn’t disturb our meal in the process. I know restaurants have to clean but I despise when a worker aggressively sprays chemicals on a nearby table close enough to our food to land on it! I’m not sure I remember that person spraying anything anyway (brain is too tired to remember) but it’s a pet peeve of mine and I’m glad it didn’t happen mid meal. There were more people inside than I expected but it certainly wasn’t crowded. The whole atmosphere just seemed new and fresh. Hopefully it will stay that way! We love the vibe of this place. It feels so authentic to Buddy’s Bar-B-Q!“

“I have wanted a steak from here for a month. Husband ordered me the 8oz Medium well. I immediately went to cut it and it was rare. I mean blood pouring out. I can't eat rare or even Medium cooked steaks. There was one little piece that was medium well on the end. Thought I would eat it. NOPE, hard as a rock. What is wrong with people and the way they cook. I have the ticket that says Medium Well. let's just say it wouldn't have been pretty if I was in the restaurant eating. Thanks for nothing. At least I ate the salad and two rolls. FYI, Husband's Prime rib was good to him.“

“I had just got out of surgery and the first thing I asked for was long horn steak house, steak. We called ahead and the person that picked up was very nice. My wife got the chicken. When we pulled up to get our food, the waitress that came out to give us our food was very nice. When we got home to eat. It was fresh and so amazing. The people at this long horn, definitely took care of us by having everything ready and tasted absolutely amazing. Definitely needed this for sure. I would recommend this location long horn to anybody. Well done….“

“1/10/2026, #1 Best meal anywhere is always Longhorns Parm Crusted Chicken & their Mac & Cheese. I eat it twice a month and it’s so tongue flopping incredible! Saturday night was sold out packed but our server Michael was amazing. Just watching him handle all his tables at the same time with so much professionalism so great to see. First class server that should be sought after by Knoxville’s finest restaurants if you’re smart.“
