“We went to the mall to walk and have dinner last night. We had never seen this place but decided to try it out! I had the pulled pork sandwich with cornbread and chips, and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich with cornbread, baked beans and coleslaw. It was very good southern BBQ. I loved the sweet cornbread because it was just the right amount of sweet and not dry. It was a very good change from your typical mall food court options. They are locally owned and not a chain and a great place to take a break from the busyness of the mall. They are located just across from Great American Cookie Company next to the Cinnebare entrance. The customer service was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be back!“

“This is the best BBQ in Knoxville. I’ve had the pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket and all the sides. The cakes are made from scratch. Most important this is a family owned small business and the people are so very nice and accommodating.“

“On Tuesday, July 29th I decided to take my wife, kids and grandchild out for a good dinner (7 total). Famous Dave's did not disappoint! We were greeted warmly at the door and seated very quickly. With us having so many people, we ordered the All American barbecue feast, order of wings, fried pickles and egg rolls. Oh, and an extra order of those stupindoesly delicious muffins! Our food didn't take long to hit the table and man, was it good! Everything from the corn on the cob to the brisket was fresh and hot. Everyone raved about the new egg rolls but, my favorite was the beans, ribs and muffins. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and was super nice and helpful. There isn't a single thing I could even remotely complain about when it comes to our wonderful dinner at Dave's. We had a good time, good food and made some good memories!“

“After reading recent reviews, I was unsure I made I good choice for dinner. I'm happy I took the chance though! I ordered the Hogbacks potato with pork and a side of coleslaw. The potato was huge, the pork was tender, and my special requests were followed through on. Food was awesome! Sad to see some others haven't had the most positive experiences lately but don't let that detour you. I will definitely order from them when in the area in the future.“

“We normally ate at the longhorn once a month. Normally, the food is absolutely wonderful. Our last visit included a ribeye and a filet. The fillet was good. The rib I was full of gristle. That's the first time that's ever happened. I did not complain because that's out of the norm for them.“

“I have wanted a steak from here for a month. Husband ordered me the 8oz Medium well. I immediately went to cut it and it was rare. I mean blood pouring out. I can't eat rare or even Medium cooked steaks. There was one little piece that was medium well on the end. Thought I would eat it. NOPE, hard as a rock. What is wrong with people and the way they cook. I have the ticket that says Medium Well. let's just say it wouldn't have been pretty if I was in the restaurant eating. Thanks for nothing. At least I ate the salad and two rolls. FYI, Husband's Prime rib was good to him.“
