“Ventured outside my comfort zip code zone ? and I’m so glad I did! This restaurant was fantastic! Food was very flavorful and presented so clean…no frills just delicious meat, grilled veggies and oh my they’re roasted potatoes yummy ?. We went with a group of 7 and we all had something different and shared…Milanese was juicy, steaks were cooked to perfection, and pasta was tasty. Went on a Saturday and they had a gentleman singing and he was pretty good. Great ambiance.“

“We loved it here. Came on a Friday for lunch around 1 and it was pretty quiet. We tried 4 different, 3 meat and 1 cheese. The chicken mole is not traditional Mexican mole, know that before you get it. It's counter service so walk up and order and they being it to you.“

“this is one of my favorites, snowcone places in the entire world, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. They also have amazing candies for great prices and this is such a nice little treat on the east end and kind of a hidden secret if you don’t know about it. If you like snow cones, I would definitely recommend this place because they have amazing, soft ice ice and their flavors penetrate each part and their customer service is so nice and considerate and I am pretty sure it’s a small business so you feel really good supporting the family. “Their loaded fries were the best thing hands down; runner ups would be the chicken sandwiches and popcorn chicken! We also had their soda series and they were both very tasty and refreshing. The only issue was the lack of seating inside the store as well as the turn around time for the food.“

“My wife found this place because we wanted to snack on something and we were in the area. A ton of options and it has a 80s vibe in there with all the comic book covers movie posters. We really enjoyed it and there is a ton of options on the menu. She had a mangonada and a corn on the cob. I had the corn in a cup and a Mexican style hot dog with a fresh lemonade water.“

“Trap Sauce has got to be the best mix out of Houston. Not only do they cater to the miche lovers but they have mixes for everyone to enjoy and different drink combos to satisfy your cravings. Snacks are always needed to complete your stop too. If you have time stop by you won’t regret it. Employees always in good spirits as well.“

“So good. Service was great tonight with Santiago as our server. Dinner was delicious. Husband and I split the mixed grill platter for one but neither of us eat a lot so we were able to split. Also the Rosemary potatoes. Order them. They are delicious. The meats were perfectly prepared. We also enjoyed some of the empanadas. They are so good. It was not crowded. Y'all go so we don't another good restaurant. We normally get desserts and they are delicious. Full bar and good wine list focused on Argentina. Sorry, failed to get photos.“

“These are the best empanadas I've had in Houston! They were reasonably priced, ~$3 each and a great variety of filling. I had the spinach and cheese, and the beef. The flavors were on point especially with the chimichurri. The best part was how well the crust held everything together. It was flaky, not soggy. Absolutely delicious. This will be a go-to for me once a week.“

“If you love a good elote you need to check this place out! Their variety of toppings and house made sauces were absolutely delicious. They also cook their corn instead of using canned corn - that’s how you know it’s legit! I love how it’s conveniently located at the post so that you can enjoy a variety of food options and make sure to leave room for your antojitos!“

“I would give this shop 10000 stars if I could! The pastry desserts are incredible! The empanadas are SO SO good! I asked for the "favorites" and I was NOT disappointed. I was in town for training, and in search of some GOOD food that I couldn't find at a local fast food. The choripan sandwich was delicious as well. I can't say enough good things about the foods, but the place itself is just cute as can be. Very home-style feeling when you walk in- very inviting. I will absolutely be back. “Hooooooooly Moly !1st X here, most def not my last!! They have a sandianada? drink, OH MY GAWD ?! That drink is hand's down the best fruit drink I have eva eva had!!!!!. The mangonada was delicious as well buuuuut that sandia ? one, Boooooooooooi that thang was da bomb ?!“

“I happened to have been in the mood for a home cooked grill flames burger. So I reached out to my friend who knows all of the hot spots in Houston. I asked her "where can I get a home made burger", to which she quickly replied "pee wee's". So after googling the spot, I decided to give it a shot. I love how it's literally a little shack/house. I ended up getting a double cheeseburger basket, everything on it except mustard.(which came with fries and a canned soda) for about 9.50, you can't beat that for home cooked food. The guy who took my order was VERY pleasant and kind. It took about ten minutes for my food to come, which I wasn't complaining about at all. After my food was ready to guy called out for my order and then offered condiments and seasoning for my fries. I will definitely be back based off the customer service alone! But the food was just as great as the customer service! I'd give this overall experience a 10/10! Please support small Black businesses, especially those who've served the community for decades. There is even a park across the street to allow your kids to play or to enjoy your meal at! They accept cash or cash app!“

“I will have to say this is hands-down one of the best refresquerias in town. The place is pretty cheap and the quality is great. They have a lot of variety of flavors for shaved ice, as well as snack options. They have corn on the cob, fruit combination snacks, chip snacks, and desserts. My fav is the leche raspa with sweetened condensed milk drizzled on top with a cup of corn! This is a family friendly spot with quick service. Expect a pick-up-and-go type of place or eat in the car.“
