“Happened to be staying at the Marriott Marquis and decided to eat here since it was adjacent to the hotel. It was a great decision. It is always a plus when patio seating is available. The drinks were amazing and the food was on point. Xochi is an authentic Mexican gem! The vibe, food, and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is vibrant, the dishes are bursting with flavor, and the handcrafted cocktails are a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Houston and, of course, even for locals, for an unforgettable Mexican dining.“

“Post HTX food hall location. They usually keep a long line but moves it pretty fast. I got their Fuego fries with birria and it was delicious! The fries were nice and crispy and seasoned, and the meat was good as well. This is probably my new favorite dish with them.“

“Have been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. I've had their fajita, pastor, and barbacoa. All meats are very flavorful and delicious. Their quesadillas always hit the spot. Since my family is bigger now, we tend to get the special plate. It consists of a plate of meat with melted cheese on top and a stick of tortillas. If you're not a cheese person, you can get the regular plate, which is the meat and tortillas.“

“This is why I love Yelp. I'm giddy when Yelp reviews point me to places like this, that I never would have found on my own. We were very pleased with the food, the service, and the vibes we found at Cochinita! We ordered The Desayuno (not pictured because my husband dug in before I could snap one) and the 3 Leches French Toast, a latte and a London Fog. All plates were emptied before we left. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and was beautifully plated. They have a collection of house made sauces and oils available to spice up your meal (and you can even purchase some to take home.) Cochinita is a real treat. The neighborhood is worth a cruise after breakfast for the murals, too!“

“I have to say the tacos in the food were delicious everything. I don't think anyone will complain on something that's has flavor. I'm thinking if this place has a long line. It's popular because of the good tasting food. They should do something about speeding up the line. But I guess Management has not thought about that. Has your business growth and it has more in more people coming. You should make plans to make the kitchen area larger with the buffet section larger. So you can have 2 extra servers. I'm assuming they made it investment in the parking lot next door which is huge and full of cars. Trust me this place is making money. Not complaining about the price, but this is not a dollar tacos. Those days are over. This location, and one Laredo on Patton Street street are making money. It would help if it also had a larger restroom to accommodate more than one person. It's a business not a home. I hope management reads this. And will maybe answer the review“

“Our first visit was to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday. The food is exceptional, the drinks are creative and on point. We started off with some street corn for an appetizer! I had seafood Mexicana with shrimp scallops and octopus seasoned with a siracha sauce over risotto. The wait staff all sang Happy Birthday and gave her a piece of quattro leches cake....OMG! A perfect place to celebrate ? anything! Soo good! Cory was our server and helped with our food selection as well as being a spirit guide for all of their creative libations. “We saw this restaurant in social media and wanted to come check it out. It did not disappoint!! I had the delicious chilaquiles and it came with homemade chips! We also ordered the Jorge plate with spicy pork tamales covered with eggs and side of beans and potatoes. “Upscale Mexican restaurant with fantastic menu featuring various seafood, vegetables and innovative offerings of familiar favorites. We decided to share small-ish plates (they weren't that small). We had corn & shrimp empanadas, a roasted eggplant and squash dish, smoked octopus dish, a mushroom tamal wrapped in a banana leaf with mole and a blueberry mousse cake with passionfruit sorbet. Everything was unique, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Food was served quickly by attentive staff. We loved it.“

Expect long lines when you go to eat at brother's tacos. But it's only because their food is delicious!Parking: Parking is very limited and most people end up parking on the side of the street. However, the last time I was there was about a week ago. Ok my last visit I did notice a city worker putting fines on windshields of cars that were parked on the side of the curb in the street. “The people operating the food truck were kind and it took roughly a bit over 5 mins to get my food after ordering. This is a to-go place, there are no tables or seats to sit and enjoy your meal. I didn't have any issues parking on a Saturday morning. I tried their breakfast tacos and they were good but I don't think the flour tortilla was homemade. Not a deal breaker for me but it was missing that extra touch. However, the tacos were at a great price point, I spent ~$15 for six of them. I would consider them again if I'm hungry near EaDo.“

I had the tacos with corn tortillas which were completely gluten free. The server was knowledgeable as well in dietary restrictions.Parking: There is plenty of street parking areas along with a garage close by.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid friendly and offers a kids menu, and seating that is spread out from other areas as well to accommodate high chairs, strollers, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheel chair accessibility within the restaurant and ourdoor seating areas - extremely spacious.“
