“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! I have been served by the bartender Jay every time, along with others, and they always take such great care of me. The margaritas were incredibly strong, which is not a bad thing. The bill for 2 entrees, 2 sides, and 3 margaritas was 120 after tip so I believe the pricing was fair.

“First time here. Ordered takeout due to pandemic. Came on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. Ordered 4 rolls: rainbow roll, dragon roll, Greenville roll, & spicy tuna kiss roll. Presentation is nice. Fish quality is smooth, creamy, and does not have a frozen multiple times texture. Flavor is nice. Roll pieces are actually bite sized and -just- fit in your mouth. (I have a small mouth, so they may fit better in an average person’s mouth). Kind of disappointed with the minuscule amount of wasabi & ginger that came with each dish, but wasabi taste fresh & has adequate spice. Pickled ginger is quite sweet. Overall, everything was good. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

“Great Poke selection with a fun “build your own” order sheet that makes it extremely simple and easy to choose, which protein and toppings items you would like in your bowl. Parking here is a little bit of a pain, but there is a large parking garage nearby and we were able to find free parking directly behind the restaurant.

They also give free miso soup here which I thought was classy, and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the complimentary serve yourself, crispy toppings, and seasonings over near the drink station.

Nothing‘s going to beat poke in Hawaii but if you’re reading this, you’re in Texas and Hawaii is a few thousand dollars from here so let’s be thankful for what we can get. This is a solid spot.“
