I had the baked salmon roll and tempura combo. The roll just melts in your mouth with some delicious sweet yet savory after taste. The tempura was crispy and cooked very well. We also had the California roll, and the dragon roll. Along with egg rolls and gyoza. Yummmy 🥰🥰🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

“First time here. Ordered takeout due to pandemic. Came on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. Ordered 4 rolls: rainbow roll, dragon roll, Greenville roll, & spicy tuna kiss roll. Presentation is nice. Fish quality is smooth, creamy, and does not have a frozen multiple times texture. Flavor is nice. Roll pieces are actually bite sized and -just- fit in your mouth. (I have a small mouth, so they may fit better in an average person’s mouth). Kind of disappointed with the minuscule amount of wasabi & ginger that came with each dish, but wasabi taste fresh & has adequate spice. Pickled ginger is quite sweet. Overall, everything was good. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

They have outdoor seating too, and it’s nice that if you’re sitting outside you have a view of the lake. “Great Poke selection with a fun “build your own” order sheet that makes it extremely simple and easy to choose, which protein and toppings items you would like in your bowl. Parking here is a little bit of a pain, but there is a large parking garage nearby and we were able to find free parking directly behind the restaurant.

They also give free miso soup here which I thought was classy, and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the complimentary serve yourself, crispy toppings, and seasonings over near the drink station.

Nothing‘s going to beat poke in Hawaii but if you’re reading this, you’re in Texas and Hawaii is a few thousand dollars from here so let’s be thankful for what we can get. This is a solid spot.“
