“I will be stopping here every day! The staff is so uplifting and friendly. The gentleman at the door (the face of the restaurant you see on the way in and the way out) is phenomenal! I literally leave in a better mood every morning. (even when I am already in a good mood!) The food is great the servers are great and the price is right. “Arrived and seated with chips and salas at the table in under 90 seconds! The wait staff was kind and speedy! Had the Speedy Gonzales plate and subbed a Chicken Crispy Taco instead of Beef. Our table was given flour tortillas and they were delicious! The space was welcoming and lots of seating. Business was booming and the fact that service and staff were kind and swift says so much about their establishment. Look forward to making my way back.“

That was my go to restaurant for my 92 year old Dad for 40 years. He ordered the Mexican plate and was delighted everything was delicious. “Just finished some of best cheese enchiladas we've ever had. Nothing fancy, just real good and stuffed with cheese. Everything else was great including the unique sauce. Live right behind it. We've only sorry we did not try it sooner.“

7am the earliest is when they open now not sure why.

The food is actually very good from someone who has been many places globally.
The young man at the counter is very shy but kind and has to put up with the sometimey cook in the back.

Don’t be shocked to hear them say they don’t want to make something and the order is too big.(usually it’s not)
Not very good for business.
They will put restrictions on how many of a certain item you can buy.
Overall this isn’t the prettiest place to stop but they keep it clean at the tables and they don’t too long to get your food out to you.
Small mom and pop shop so come with that in mind and you will get some pretty good tacos for sure.
Tea is a bit too sweet for my liking but heck I don’t like diabetes on my first sip.

“At the corner of Hwy 181 and SE 1604 in Floresville TX sits a little shack looking like something out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, that boasts having The Best Barbacoa in The World. We pass it twice a day and have often laughed about it. Shame on me for violating my own premise that the best food comes from the most unassuming dive joints. We finally tried it and Holy Smokin' beef cheeks, Batman. The service is good and the people friendly. The barbacoa is super tender, flavorful and moist, without being greasy. It comes with whole avocados, pico de gallo, your choice of flour or corn tortillas. If you order flour you're doing it wrong. You can optionally get it with the requisite beverage, Big Red. If you order any other drink, you lose your Texican card. It doesn't matter if you hate Big Red as I do. Go Big Red or go home. It has all the ambience of being broken down in your car on the side of a busy highway intersection, which of course is exactly the ambience it should have. They also have tamales and menudo, but online reviews suggest Larry should stick to what he does best--The World's Best Barbacoa--and leave it at that. oh...they only take cash, so leave your credit cards at home, and mindya bizness about if he reports all of it to Uncle Sam. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟“

I like to add potatoes and cheese to the chorizo and egg tacos; they really pack them full. The service has always been friendly. I would recommend this place if you're in the area. As for the atmosphere, I think it's too small of a location for their operation. It's not really inviting for dine-in customers. Good news, they have a drive-up window, so don't let that distract you from checking them out.“

“I routinely go here with 3 or more teacher friends for breakfast on Fridays at 6:30 a.m. The coffee is always hot and fresh as are the breakfast plates. The pork chop plate that comes with two homemade corn or flour tortillas, 2 eggs, and refried beans is magnificent as are the eggs rancheros plate, eggs divorciados plate, steak and eggs plate, and the other breakfast plates and assorted ample breakfast tacos.
