“I was amazed by how it taste: the lamb skew, fried noodles, the grilled veggies, tendons and everything that we ordered. I spent years in Beijing and this place even beats most places back in china, I guarantee you. I would definitely come back every chance I get.“

“My family and I have frequented this restaurant for over 15 years. We usually eat at the NorthPark location, but decided to take a chance on the Allen location for my Mom’s birthday this year. We had a large party, for which we reserved a week in advance. The food was great our server was attentive, and did a remarkable job!
The only problem with the night was when John the manager came to our table and began to take plates out of the way, at first we thought “great out of the way” then he came back again and in a rude way said “you folks need to wrap it up because we have other parties to sit”. I understand that there are more parties, but the way you approach people matters, and at the end of the night I am a paying customer, trying to enjoy a special night. Don’t rush me out.
We had arrived at 5:30pm and waited for the whole party to show. Food was served by 6:30 and by 7ish he was telling us to “wrap it up”.
My family was very disappointed with the treatment he gave us. I expressed some frustration when exiting and fortunately Kenny a manager approached me and asked what was wrong. I explained the situation to him and he made an attempt at getting John to explain himself and apologize for how he came off, but no. Kenny apologized for John since he wasn’t a big enough person to do it himself.
Anyways, this place did a great job with promoting Kenny because people like John will ruin 15 years of great experiences in a heartbeat.
Thank you Kenny for being attentive and caring. Hoping to continue to make more great memories alongside my family at this place in the future, and hoping Kenny is there or moves on up the ladder! Can’t say much for John though.“

Food was delicious and with the 3 entrees I ordered , me and my husband have left overs for tomorrow all day ! Portions are great , sauces are great , staff is great . The customers coming out said they were good, and recommended their favorites. I decided to try Lucky House for the 1st time on a Monday afternoon around 3PM. The Lunch Specials are from 11AM - 4PM, which are Chicken or Beef for $9.99, and Shrimp for $10.59. One Egg Roll & Steamed Rice are included. They also have a small, self-service buffet bar with Miso, Egg Drop, and Hot & Sour Soups, lettuce, cookies with almond slices and Fortune Cookies. The women who work here greeted me, and took my order. I had the L2 Broccoli Chicken. The women were very courteous, attentive, and checked back several times to make sure everything was ok. It was. “It looks like the bad reviews are from those who had American-Chinese food. Try their Korean- Chinese food like jajangmyeon (black bean noodle) $13, tangsuyuk (Kor-Chi version of sweet and sour pork) $20 for small, kanpoong saewoo (chilli shrimp) $41, and etc. Unfortunately, these menus are only written in Korean and it's expensive. But if you're not on a tight budget, try them. The service is slow since the male owner is the only chef and the female owner serves the food.“

“New York style Chinnese food just like NJ. I would call east coast style. Very friendly hard working family serving quality food. Brings back memories from my teenage years in NYC and NJ. “A good place for pho and family homemade food on Stacy Rd in Allen. A friendly and relaxing place to have quick lunch and dinner. They serve delicious pho noodle bowls, beef or chicken pho, fried rice and noodle dish and authentic Bun Bo Hey (Spicy Hue Pho). I came for a pho but saw they have a good looking bun bo hue. Gave it a try and it was good. Spiciness level at 9 but you can ask spicy level 5 or 6. I might have to come by for beef pho and summer shrimp rolls for full review. If you are Asian food lover, you find this place good with food Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Reasonable price and fast friendly service. Come by and check out yourself. The staffs are friendly, good server Sky and big shout to Duong, the chefs and family staffs. Good job keep Vietnamese to Allen community. Good food to enjoy but need improve cleanliness in restroom that would be 10/10. Highly recommend for visitors, local diner or Asian food lovers 🍜
