“Of all the places to eat in the Alpine area, Mr Ron is the only restaurant that reached out and graciously offered meals to those elderly homebound Alpine residents who are on an extremely fixed income and have severe mobility issues that I have been providing since June of 2025.. This should be more than enough to support Line Thai... PS To the person that posted "the food is okay but not authentic"-you are MORE than welcome to purchase a wok and cook AUTHENTIC Thai (in large quantities consistently on a daily basis).. I'll even PAY out of my own pocket all the ingredients you need to make 15 portions of Pad Thai all at once... Swing by my place and we can head over to Lowe's so you can pick out all the stuff needed so YOU can cook.. Let everyone see your culinary skills..”

Actually best torta I have ever had. So good. I recommend the torta de barbacoa with extra avocado. We circled around the whole little town looking for what was open and what looked good and ended up here and I’m really glad. :)”

“Diner with lots of diners. They were super busy, but we were waited on quickly and got our food quickly. We both had burgers, and they were both very good. Grilled buns, fresh meat, and all of the fixings. They also had Mexican fare and American things like chicken fried steak.”

“Consistently the best sweets I have ever eaten! I've not had a miss so far. I've never liked croissants until having theirs. I'm rarely impressed with food and have high standards for a location to gain my recommendation, but Scoops does it every time I visit. I wish I could watch them make a variety of desserts in an attempt to see what it is they do so differently. Amazing quality, and it's the place I take anyone to for a treat.”

“Finally made it to Spicewood for lunch! The Brisket nachos were outstanding! We ordered the fried catfish with shrimp, fries and hush puppies & the Steak Bites. This was the best meal I've had in Alpine. Very reasonably priced and the service was top notch! Thank you all for making our day fantastic.”

“Alpine Subway is quick to finish our order, the employees are hard workers, and the food is pretty good. However, refunding a bag of chips - that I didn't order but they charged me for anyway - was a huge headache.”
