“Of all the places to eat in the Alpine area, Mr Ron is the only restaurant that reached out and graciously offered meals to those elderly homebound Alpine residents who are on an extremely fixed income and have severe mobility issues that I have been providing since June of 2025.. This should be more than enough to support Line Thai... PS To the person that posted "the food is okay but not authentic"-you are MORE than welcome to purchase a wok and cook AUTHENTIC Thai (in large quantities consistently on a daily basis).. I'll even PAY out of my own pocket all the ingredients you need to make 15 portions of Pad Thai all at once... Swing by my place and we can head over to Lowe's so you can pick out all the stuff needed so YOU can cook.. Let everyone see your culinary skills..”

“Ordered brisket and sausage. Both were cooked to perfection. The weather here has been messy and as any pitmaster knows, managing a fire - the key to brisket success - in rainy and damp weather can break your cook. Ethan jammed on right through it and everything was outstanding! I eat here every time I come to Alpine and will only miss him on the days he's closed.”

“This is a must try restaurant!!!!! I had the tortellini and my husband had a chicken and asparagus plate. The food was delicious and a big enough portion that I have lunch for the next day. The server was exceptional and the prices are reasonable! If you're in Alpine for dinner Wed through Sat, you NEED to try it!”

“Delicious! I’m visiting from San Antonio and my family is from Monterrey so I was a little hesitant going out to eat mexican food so far from home but omg it was delicious. Actually best torta I have ever had. So good. I recommend the torta de barbacoa with extra avocado. We circled around the whole little town looking for what was open and what looked good and ended up here and I’m really glad. :)”

“We got to Magoo's around 1:15 and they were closing at 2:00. They seated us and were very friendly. The waitress informed us they were out of rice and shredded chicken. My SIL and I got taco plate, mine crispy, hers soft. The tacos were super good with lots of fresh veggies. The crispy she'll was excellent. It was the beans that really stood out for me. Homemade at its finest!!
Hubby got burger and fries. It was very juicy and the fries were fabulous! Hubby's brother got chicken fajitas and he said they were awesome.

“When I said my sandwich would be vegetarian, the first worker changed his gloves and replaced the bread he had gotten out for me. The second worker also changed his gloves, and then jumped on the register to check us out so we didn’t have to wait 2 minutes while the cashier was restocking cups. I would not have minded waiting! These guys have GREAT customer service!!”

“This is by far the best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. It was magically cooked to perfection. The eggs perfectly fluffy and not overcooked and dry. The tortilla and beans are possibly homemade. If they aren’t, they were treated perfectly. It was truly a masterpiece. The service is great, but it can be quite busy from locals and tourists alike on Saturday and Sunday. If you are in a hurry, you will likely get frustrated.”

“Can’t comment on the food, but the drinks were good. The service was amazing. Jessie and Laurie Are hilarious, sweet angel babies, I’ll miss them, They make some bad ass drinks. If you’re in town, definitely stop here and ask for a cherry bomb and a tequila shot!
