“Place is great! It’s consistent with the service, food and atmosphere. Every single family and friend we’ve gathered with absolutely LOVES this restaurant. We have been coming here for years and the tourists that feel it’s a “tourist trap” need to understand what type of restaurant they are walking into- local, great food, service and family owned. Knockout martini is amazing, Bob Armstrong dip is unbeatable. The burritos and beef fajitas are the best by far. We will continue to support Austin’s favorite Tex mex restaurant and clearly the people that matter will too.“

Every team member was friendly and attentive, but I have to give a huge shoutout to Nicholas — he was super duper amazing! His energy, genuine kindness, and attention to detail made our entire experience unforgettable.

The food was top-notch — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly Tex-Mex. The flavors danced on our taste buds, and everything came out hot and beautifully plated. You can tell they put heart into what they serve.

“This place definitely knows it's niche. They serve authentic Chinese noodles (as expected given that the menu items are listed in Chinese as well). Overall a great experience, you'll know if you like the place after one visit. Keep in mind though this is the food truck variant of the restaurant; there isn't free water and there aren't any restrooms in the vicinity.“

“Where do I start? Tacos were such fire we connected with our spirit guides. We get bacon, potatoes and cheese on handmade flour tortillas, chefs kiss && first base. The salsas are absolutely addictive. I love their homemade tortillas, I feel like their secret ingredient is love. The people at the truck are very kind I appreciate kind people anywhere I can find them. Also, take cash! They do accept card but there is no way to leave a tip by card :( they deserve tips!!! “I want to start by saying that I am an extremely hard person to please. I’m not even sure that it’s possible. I’m the kind of person that will seek out a reason to give you a bad review. I’m also the kind of person to make sure that I give credit where it’s due. With that being said, I have been here a couple of times and every time I have had great service, great food and that’s all I can really ask for. I ordered on Sunday July 20 at around 7 PM and I wasn’t able to place an order online. I called and the system was down for some reason. The employee was extremely sweet and appreciative that I let them know about the issue and they fixed it immediately. I was able to place my order not even a minute after the call. I picked it up 15 minutes later and they had it hot and ready for me. I wasn’t able to go inside because I did have my pistol on me concealed and I did not want to go through the hassle of showing it to everybody just to be able to walk in. Employee saw that I was in my wheelchair and she noticed I may need some assistance, which I didn’t. I was just reading the signage on the door (30.06) but she was very attentive and very helpful anyways. So with that she kindly walked it out to me. I rode back home in my wheelchair five blocks and my food was still hot. The Barbacoa tacos were amazing. I was expecting low quality or ground beef passed off as barbacoa. No, it was legit and so delicious. I also come from San Antonio, the city with the best tacos in Texas. I rarely find a place that’s impressive in prices, service and food and Salsa Limon hits the mark on all three. This should be enough to let you know that the tacos here are legit. I never give five stars to anyone unless I am absolutely overwhelmingly impressed and I don’t think I’ve ever given one so don’t take that as a ding on this report. Those are reserved for extremely special occasions in my book.“

“I love Torchys, been going since they existed. This particular location has struggled but is much improved. Food has become more consistent, automated checkout up front has improved the ordering experience and cut the line down. Still room for improvement as the staff walks around almost clueless to where people are to deliver food and more mistakes than the other locations.

The 5 rating assumes they'll continue to improve and meet the standard set by the brand, trending in the right direction!“

“This place was packed when I showed up for a Saturday lunch. Full parking lot. Almost entirely full of locals. Good sign. Also meant it was a little slow, but that's OK, given the crowd.

Had my standard to start with a place. Chorizo and egg on flour and bacon and egg (plus potato) on flour. Cheap. About $3 per taco.

Tortillas were great. Properly warmed up and crisped up a bit. Chorizo was good. Not too greasy. Bacon/potato was OK. Potato was a little dry, but still good.

The green salsa is really spicey. Very good, but beware.

Will come back and try more. Impressed.“
