“Place is great! It’s consistent with the service, food and atmosphere. Every single family and friend we’ve gathered with absolutely LOVES this restaurant. We have been coming here for years and the tourists that feel it’s a “tourist trap” need to understand what type of restaurant they are walking into- local, great food, service and family owned. Knockout martini is amazing, Bob Armstrong dip is unbeatable. The burritos and beef fajitas are the best by far. We will continue to support Austin’s favorite Tex mex restaurant and clearly the people that matter will too.“

“Bartender Brendan was great. I figured we would annoy him with Death Proof filming questions, but dude was awesome. This place is legendary, and the staff was cool AF 🤘“

“If you’re looking for authentic birria tacos, this is the spot! The tacos are packed with flavor, tender beef, and just the right amount of spice. The consommé is rich and savory—perfect for dipping. Portions are generous, service is quick, and everything comes out fresh and hot. Definitely a must-try if you’re craving street-style tacos done right.“

“First timers here and it was exceptional! The wait was estimated to be 30-45 minutes, which isn’t terrible for a Friday night, but we were seated way before that. One nice thing they offer outside while you wait is the opportunity to scan and order some apps and drinks. We had CW wait on us, and he was awesome! Food great, drinks great, atmosphere great! Definitely one of the higher quality Tex Mex places in town!“

“Ramos is a great place to dine. I come here very often, sometimes 3 times a day. I've had most everything on the menu and have never had a bad meal. From breakfast to lunch to the special dinner meals, they all have that wonderful regional TexMex flavor you would expect from an establishment of this quality. I challenge you to give it a try. They won't disappoint.“

“First time trying Torchy's and I must say I was not disappointed! The self-service kiosks are pretty standard and the professional was very streamlined and quick. The food is pretty large in portion size so definitely recommend taking each entree as it comes, and not ordering too much at the beginning. Will definitely come back to Torchy's when traveling through this area!“

“This is isn’t an understatement but probably the best burritos I’ve ever had.
This place feels like eating in a Mexico City taqueria!
I had Al Pastor burrito and it’s an explosion in the mouth.
I had to come back so my wife could try them.
100% recommended“

“Such good TACOS!!!!! I had 4 different tacos and I cant decide which was the best. My friends also fully enjoyed their tacos, except for the chicharrones, which was not enjoyed. Overall, this is a great taco stop, well worth the time to get here“

Our server (James) was outstanding, the food was fabulous and the chips & salsa was so good the 6 of us each ate a basket of chips and had several refills on salsa! “The food was delicious & the portions are generous. Although a lot of people were in there it only took a few minutes to be seated on a Thursday night. It's a bit loud in there, but no different than any other restaurants on the weekend (which actually starts on Thursdays).“

“We hired Maudie's catering for our rehearsal dinner. Given the current COVID-19 situation, Maudie's put all our guests meals in individual packages including the appetizers. It was so fun, so delicious and SAFE! Delivery was exactly on time and the catering team worked with me seamlessly to make sure it was all exactly to my liking. I love Maudie's the restaurant but this was the first time I used the catering and I will absolutely be using them again. We love Maudie's!!“

“Cisco’s Restaurant, Bar & Bakery – East Austin. A true East Austin institution with 75 years of history and family-run charm, Cisco’s definitely earns points for nostalgia and character. The space is tiny but quaint, filled with old-school Tex-Mex vibes that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a slice of Austin’s past. I ordered the carne guisada and migas tacos with water • both were okay, but lacked the bold flavor I was hoping for. The tortillas weren’t homemade, which surprised me given how long this place has been around. I remember having a similar experience years ago, so maybe I just haven’t found my go-to order here yet. Parking was a headache; honestly spent more time circling the block than sitting down to eat. That said, the waitress was lovely and attentive, and the festive, colorful interior added a nice touch to the overall experience. Cisco’s is undeniably cool for its legacy and local roots, but I’d love to see the tortillas elevated to match the heritage. Not sure if I’ll be back, but I respect what they represent in Austin’s food scene. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“A small shop at the back of a convenience store with limited seating on the other side of the store. The gentleman (Tino?) working was very friendly and pulled together the order fast. Servings were stout and tasty, which I was very grateful for. My friend got standard breakfast tacos. I ordered the gordita with pastor spilling out the sides. They were out of barbacoa. Good stuff.“

“Delicious food and fast service. A popular place with several customers stopping by while we were there. There is one table inside and a bathroom also. Portions were big and good value for money. Over 26 years in business says a lot too ?? “

“The special with a taco, cheese enchilada, queso, refried beans, and Spanish rice was excellent.
I added yellow mustard to the taco and mixed it with the queso, beans and rice.
Parking: No problem finding a parking spot early but it gets more crowded as the day goes on after work into the evening when the sharks come out to play.
Kid-friendliness: Kids practice on the putting green
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot is flat and the clubhouse is too. There are no wheelchair impediments.“

“Service was great. Friendly, accommodating, pretty quick to serve. Guac, queso, salsa, and chips - very good. After that, the food was just okay - not bad, just missing spice or anything resembling Tex-Mex seasoning. Had the taco plate, Taco salad, quesadilla, and flautas... Don't get me wrong, decent, but tasted very Americanized. Had been led to believe it would be easy better. Oh well.“

They even surprised me and threw in some dumplings in for free!! Great guys, great place, great food. Both the dumplings and the chicken plate were fire Im 100% coming “

“New Years Eve late lunch - - - absolutely delicious food. Generous portions. Our server, Rico, was beyond amazing. Accommodating, always checking on us without hovering. Thanked us for coming in, told us we had plenty of other options but he appreciated us deciding on Lupe. Rico had the most incredible “can do” attitude for whatever we needed. Highly recommend Lupe Westlake.“
