“We have been coming to this place for over a decade. We have since moved out of state, but every time we come to the area we have to go. Have yet to find donuts and kolaches as good anywhere else with a great price and friendly service. Their glazed donuts are hands down the best, and so are their kolaches.“

The food is excellent, especially the brisket kolaches and the breakfast tacos, the donuts are always fresh and delicious, and the service is outstanding! The people who work here are incredibly lovely, friendly, and so kind. The prices are very fair too!

“Everyone knows that finding delicious GF sweets is hard to do, but CAMBO comes close! I tried her GF donuts (plain, blueberry, & chocolate), which you can get without the glaze (!!!)-I went fully glazed and warmed up and the donuts were great. I also tried the jalapeno & cheese kolache (GF and Keto Friendly), and the sausage was tasty but the bread part was meh, and they are small. On the plus side, nutritional info for Keto is available on the glass, so it is convenient. My kiddos enjoyed donut holes and loved the star shaped donuts instead of the traditional circle donut. My husband really liked the powdered sugar donut and said it reminded him of a beignet (he is from NOLA) and also got the boudin kolache which he said was good.“

“I've been going here for years, and prices are still so cheap! the muffins! Oh, the muffins are so fresh fluffy rich and BIG! Must try and kolaches great to just everything here, so good and fresh made! And everyone is so nice who works there, especially the owner of the place!“

“I would say that this is a hidden gem but it's really a gem that MANY people know and visit...just off the beaten path a little. It happens to be on our bike route, so we often stop then as well as anytime wifey and I head out of town. Very friendly "staff" (family) and always clean. Food is great (coffee good too). I'm a kolache person, so they have a good selection. Seating is adequate as well.“

“Wow! I go to the smoke shop next door and always after noon to evening when this place is closed. I decided to pop in Sunday before they closed and I was extremely happy I went in. The donuts and kolaches look amazing. I bought a Ham egg cheese crossiant and 2 cake donuts. The crossiant was so fresh and buttery and delicious. I will be a regular from now on. This is now my Donut shop from now on unless I move to another city. Love this place!!!“

“I live in Ireland and I ordered doughnuts from Ashley’s through Uber Eats to be delivered to my dad (who lives in Clear Lake) for his 70th birthday! I mentioned in the order it was for a birthday and the very kind people at Ashley’s went above and beyond writing Happy Birthday messages on the package and even making a little handmade card! They threw in some extra doughnuts and even packaged one separately decorated with a birthday candle!! In these harder times Ashley’s has provided amazing service and made a birthday surprise feel extra special! Thank you and we will be sure to visit in person again when we can!! PS my dad said the doughnuts were delicious - a great treat!“

“Been comming here for awhile now. Mostly around 6am. The doughnuts are pretty good as well as the kolchies(sp). The cinnamon rolls are good too.Reading some of the reviews the score should be higher here since some of the complaints are ridiculous.If you have a tree nut allergy do not come here. If you do fall Victim go to clear lake regional. They are the only ones who can save you.“

“I stop here pretty regularly on weekday morning for a few kolaches and a donut. I always use the drive through, and even though the line can get pretty long, it moves quickly. They're always very fast and courteous in their drive through window.“
