“This little joint has been an East Dallas treasure for some time. When you think of mom's home made breakfast. Best describes Gold Rush, from the fluffiest pancakes which IMHO is their clame to fame. I might order a tradional fried egg and bacon breakfast, but bet your bottom dollar it's coming with a short stack of pancakes. As you imagine the tastiest ham slice. remember that they do lunch. fall apart pot roast, hamburgers will not disappoint, chicken fried steak, why not have an omelet for brunch, they'll do it just right. It's not a big place in any way. You get there and you see an empty table go ahead and seat yourself. if there's a short line. you might have to stand between 5 and 8 minutes but everyone in line is cordial. when guests leave their table, grab it, even if it hasn't been cleared off very shortly someone will come by a cleaned your table. while you wait hopefully a member of staff already given you a menu. Be ready when someone takes your order. and the place can be hopping. Give it a shot, I'm sure you will find your visit enjoyable and the food done right.“

“Patty’s is a hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the outside which needs some love. The inside is very cozy and the food is amazing! The chicken fried steak breading was perfectly crispy and the pie selection was fabulous! I will be sure to stop in again when I do my mum shopping 😊“

“I had lunch at the Market Café at Bonton Farms with a girlfriend recently, and it was such a refreshing and uplifting experience. The setting is calm and inviting, with a real sense of purpose behind everything they do. It's not just a café—it feels like part of something bigger and more meaningful. The food was incredible—fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. You can really tell the ingredients are farm-to-table. Everything we ordered felt nourishing and satisfying without being heavy. The staff were kind and attentive, and the entire space had a laid-back, welcoming vibe that made us want to linger and enjoy the moment. It's the kind of place that feeds more than just your appetite. I'll definitely be back—and I'll be bringing more friends with me next time.“

“Simply Amazing!! I was craving breakfast but the time was 11:30 exactly and I did not know the breakfast hours here as this was my first visit. I asked the sweet lady who greeted me when I came in if I could still get breakfast and she told me yes. I ordered 2 eggs over eazy, 2 strips of bacon, 1 bisquit w/gravy and hasbrowns for take out. Just a simple breakfast. I got back to my office and started to eat and was amazed at how great this simple breakfast tasted. This is my new go to Cafe. Great Food. Great Friendly Service and an Amazing View as well. Give this little spot a try, you'll be glad that you did.“
“Sam’s self-checkout saves a lot of time, and the scanner worked on everything I bought (and my Sam’s card on my phone.) If you go in, and the shelves look like a bomb went off, you’re in Walmart. Sam’s is downstairs.“

“We got breakfast at The Garland Cafe' this morning and we’re SHOCKED at the portion sizes! First of all; the coffee is awesome! I’m no coffee snob… but I really am 😂😂 and it was good!
Luis Adan Velazquez got a big ol breakfast with grits (I ate his grits) and he loved everything. I got a veggie plate with pancakes (he ate my pancakes) and it was fantastic! I had to add salt, but that was nothing really.
The staff was super nice and checked in us enough, but not too much. They were not all over our shoulders, ya know?!
I can see us going back. It was pretty good.“

“Not only is Garden a spectacular dining experience whether it’s dinner or brunch it’s also an incredible venue for any small scale event. My daughter and her fiancés wedding shower was hosted there a couple of weeks ago and it was simply splendid! Truly couldn’t be topped. Thank you Garden!“
