“First time there. If you like an Old Fashioned, they have several to choose from, all three I had were great. If you want it smoked, they got your back! Nice atmosphere, chill spot. If I didn't live so far away, it would be my go-to, but if I'm in the area, I will be back!“

“They have some of the best wings in town. Big but not fatty. Well cooked and not slimy or too dry. They pour the sauce of your choice over the wings, so they are not so messy that they get all over your face when eating them. They have a dry rub as well. I have not had any of the flavors be too spicy.“

“You just can't beat Toadies! They have Denton prices with a mid-cities location. The pizzas are Insanely Good and Inexpensive, the Thursday tacos are a local tradition, and the bar specials rock.

They are flexible on the requests for the drinks and have a decent selection of liquor and beers. This bar is more low key and quiet compared to other bars. Sean is a great bartender he deals with me so he is very patient and makes great drinks.“

“Great local spot for drinks and games. This was our second time here. Our first time was for a poker tournament and the second was to watch football. Also ordered the bacon Cheeseburger and it was excellent. They use some kind of sweet bread for the bun and I'm pretty sure that they use 80/20 ground beef because it was very juicy. One of the best bar burgers I've had in town.“

We tried the Veggie Soup, Tofu Lettuce Wrap , Pad Thai and Mango with Sticky rice.

All three were really good. Very fresh and tasty. will definitely go back and will recommend.

“Very nice restaurant in the doubletree. Convenient because I just walked downstairs and ordered food to go. Hostess was very polite and friendly and grabbed me an ice water while I waited. I only had to wait less than ten minutes. The picture does not do the black bean burger justice because it was delicious and flavorful. There were two bean Pattie’s and they were stuffed with a layer of beans, corn, peppers and onions. It was tasty and very filling.“

We came to the Aces bar with low expectations and the service was quick and kind. Everything was clean. Several people around. Tortilla soup was delish, wings as well, waffle fries were fresh and yummy. The makers mark with passion fruit was a hit! Try it.“
