“Food was great, got sauced (Nashville hot) chicken crispers with the three for me and was some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in a while, very very fresh and the fries were also great. Service was perfect as our waiter was there when needed, and occasionally refilled our drinks when they were nearly empty.“

“Well I would say yes & no! Nice place but the way the tables are set up is horrible. There isn’t a stage so if you are sitting at the small tables you can’t see the band that is performing because the higher table are in front. I think that the higher tables should go against the wall where the picnic table is or towards the back and the smaller tables should be up front. There are some people who are unable to sit and the higher tables but are unable to see the band other then that’s it’s a pretty nice place.“

“Friendly staff, authentic regulars, great atmosphere (that's subjective, sorry, the vibe was atmospheric and saloon esq.) Lots of license plates and paintings by local artists. Americana ephemera - old farming stuff, 50s auto relics, vintage glass, flags - and other familiar features of a well loved bar. Varied and interesting beer selection. Locally grounded and community oriented.“

“Had a nice stop over at Twin Creeks just off FM 2469 in North Austin recently. They have an indoor bar with outdoor seating next to a small creek. Bring a slice of bread and you can feed the fish in the clear creek waters.

Bartender was very friendly. Interesting mix of patrons from different walks of life, came in during the afternoon hour we were there, most just enjoying a beer in the great spring weather on the day.

Just seemed like a really good, local watering hole in north Austin, a place worth checking out if spending a bit of time in the area.“

Lots of games including pool, ping pong, Jenga, foosball and probably others.There's a bar but also tables to kinda hang out in, and a juke box that you can choose all kinds of music from. I was really happy with the tunes they picked out - an eclectic mix that was nice for all people in our party (all ages).They also had a nice selection of taps of beer and normal well drinks from the bar. “It doesn’t get anymore “Texas” than Gary P. Nunn performing at Poodie’s Roadhouse. This experience was everything I wanted it to be. Great music cold beer friendly people even one of the best burgers you will ever have all in a real deal Texas Roadhouse! If we lived closer we’d be there every week! I can’t say enough good things! This was truly one of the best musical experiences I’ve ever been to! Great show! Poodie’s Roadhouse provided a great Texas experience. Special thanks to owner Sharon Burke for making our night so special! Get there in time to catch a beautiful sunset . Come hungry cause the burgers and other food is great! “Their J5 Smashburger truck is open during lunch only and is truly one of the best smashburgers around. Their matchstick fries are garlicky and perfectly crisp. It cost less than fast food and unbeatable quality…also the friendliest people. Need to make sure they have reason to keep this lunch service going! Check em out! They don’t have a separate listing for the truck and it’s hours so just call the regular number for a carry out order, or stop by between 11-2 most days. 10/10“

“we were at the hwy 290 location in Austin I found my new favorite restaurant! Our server (James) was outstanding, the food was fabulous and the chips & salsa was so good the 6 of us each ate a basket of chips and had several refills on salsa! The Enchiladas were so flavorful with the fire roasted Verde sauce.....highly recommend“

“We are staying at Sun Outdoors & wanted to try the local dining area. So pleased we did we certainly will return to Te’kilas. We dined outdoors with comfortable fans blowing.
Our server Jennifer is so sweet we were served chip & salsa immediately.
I asked about the different sauces for my enchilada & she brought out a couple samples for us to try. I loved the Chili Verdi, also had a crispy chicken taco.very yummy!
My husband enjoyed.the Pastor street tacos, beans & rice, he highly recommendations this entree.

“Had dinner at Homespun last night. Our first time there. It was WONDERFUL! The CF Steak & CF Chicken were absoultely delicious. Prices were reasonable. My only disappointment was that the veggie side dish servings were quite small. Otherwise, a wonderful meal. Servers were very courteous and knowledgeable. Can't wait to visit Homespun again.“

“Service was great. Friendly, accommodating, pretty quick to serve. Guac, queso, salsa, and chips - very good. After that, the food was just okay - not bad, just missing spice or anything resembling Tex-Mex seasoning. Had the taco plate, Taco salad, quesadilla, and flautas... Don't get me wrong, decent, but tasted very Americanized. Had been led to believe it would be easy better. Oh well.“
