“I purchased 10 tacos with fajita meat. I was served on two separate plates, five tacos on each plate, and was surprised that she put cucumber and radish on top. Because I'd never really tried radish before I gave it a try, and learned that, no, I do not like radish. However, I really really enjoyed the sliced cucumber in my taco. You wouldn't think that it would work, but it did. The meat was marinated wonderfully, the tacos were absolutely delicious. The lady who took my order was very very nice. There were four tables available, but the wind was just so cold we couldn't really enjoy our food there. Otherwise, on a less windy warmer day, I think it would make a wonderful place for a picnic.“

“I had beef burrito, served on a plate with grilled cheese and mayo, no salsa provided. Quite pricy for being just a burrito ($15.5+tax). Taste was mediocre, the beef had little seasoning. I tried to eat with fork and knife and decided it was more convenient to hold it with hands.“

“My wife and I travel frequently to Austin and have for a number of years. With two of our children here, we have dined out at many of Austin's finest restaurants. I am a partner in a number of businesses in Sonoma County, California, including golf courses, theaters and a restaurant. I am rarely motivated to write a restaurant review, particularly a glowing review. My wife found Oz. Tap House online and it was very close to our hotel. My personal experience with tap houses is that they have great beer, but mediocre food and generally less than mediocre service. I went online and looked at the menu, still not particularly enthusiastic. But I decided to place a dinner order for my wife and I and was immediately blown away by the online ordering system. Virtually every menu item can be custom ordered in a dizzying variety of ways. I even remarked to my wife that it was the finest online ordering software that I had ever seen. But ordering is one thing and execution is another. My wife ordered the Oz. House Burger (Beef), cooked medium, substituting lettuce wrap for the bun and adding avocado with a small avocado jalapeno side salad. Again, the customization options were many. I ordered the Charcuterie Pretzel and a Side Caesar Salad, with no croutons. I knew the restaurant was only a couple of minute drive, but even then the speed of the announcement of the projected pickup time and the time itself was amazing; less than 15 minutes. When I picked up the meals at curbside, I told the waitress how impressed I had been with the online ordering system and she thanked me and told me she would have to tell her husband. Turns out Krista and her husband, Sean, own and operate the restaurant. I had assumed with the level of sophistication that it must be a franchise or chain, but no, Oz. is a true mom and pop restaurant. When leaving I told Krista that the proof would be in (i) whether the delivered food matched the order and (ii) the quality of the food. I had barely started eating when my wife announced that her salad was spectacular and the burger one of the best she had ever had. My meal was every bit as impressive. Again, uncharacteristically for me, I called Krista (even though the restaurant was hopping and I knew she was busy), just to tell her that the food was as good or better than the service. This is as advertised: true farm-to-market fare, exceedingly fresh, expertly prepared as ordered and quickly delivered. Yes, Oz. may not have McDonald's prices, but it has infinitely superior food, expertly prepared and efficiently delivered. We admittedly didn't even try what was probably the standout feature of the restaurant: the beer. I assume if the restaurant part of the tap house was spectacular, the beer side of it must be even more so. Next time. Do yourself a favor and try the Oz. Tap House. My very best wishes to Krista and Sean on a very successful business in a tough industry.“

“Just ordered an Asada Torta from here for the first time and it was perfect. Tender and perfectly seasoned asada on a large roll with onions, cilantro, avocado, and a little mayo. It’s the best one I’ve had in Texas! Their “mild” green sauce is tasty but has a decent kick so get it on the side. The staff was friendly and everything looked clean. Highly recommend De La O Kitchen!“

“We’ve been searching for a good, authentic Mexican restaurant in West Austin for a while and we think we just found it! First, the basics; good salsa, charro beans, and Mexican rice. Solid margarita. For our entrées, we both loved them. I had the “famous puffy tacos,” which were a thick corn tortilla fried, but soft. unique, and excellent. My wife had the Enchiladas Potosinas, which was relatively new on the menu. Also, excellent! We plan to return.👍“

Compadres is hands down the best tasting and best value food trailer in Spicewood. The owner and his family are genuine and committed to great service! “It is what it is, really good value tacos. I have had both breakfast and dinner here, the breakfast taco is full of made to eggs and protein, lunch tacos were full of flavor. Not the best I have ever tasted, but for the location and price. Good enough“

“All in all what a great atmosphere. Even with all the chaos of tons of people. Everyone was still smiling and making sure we were taken care of. It was packed and we only had a 15 minute wait. Everyone was on it from the greeter, cleaning tables and servers. I'm only giving a 4 star for the food because I was a little disappointed 😞 with the rice. The taste was good but the texture was off, it seemed that the rice was dry and not in the water long enough. But everything else was superb.
