“My husband and I were working in the area and decided to stop in for a quick breakfast. The girl taking our order was extremely friendly and enthusiastic about taking care of us and the gentleman who brought our order out was courteous and made sure we had everything we needed before we left with our to-go order. It only took a few minutes for them to prepare our tacos and burritos and they were delicious!! We really didn’t need the salsa to go with it because they weren’t dry and had a great flavor, but the red sauce was more like a homemade salsa than a regular red taco sauce so it was hard to resist putting it on my tacos. Overall, we were highly impressed with everything here and will definitely be returning when we’re in the area again!“

“Smash Donuts were great. I got an Oreo Glazed and Chocolate Brownie.
Oreo tasted great and was worth the price. Chocolate brownie although tasted good but was too sweet to the palate and more expensive than the Oreo. Overall, would definitely visit again and try the milkshakes.“

I went with my mom and we had the pleasure to talk with Sydney (hope I spelled that right!), who was SUPER helpful, friendly, inviting, and gave me some cool information about the place, as well as recommendations. I had the Vietnamese Coffee, which was phenomenal, and got a dozen mini kolaches for my folks. I've spent most of my life here and idk how I didn't know about this place. “Really like this place but wouldn't drive more than 20 mins for it. Well, maybe I would, because their Cinnamon Crunch donut is so good! Their sugar glazed was generous, and the sausage kolaches are delicious too. This place cooks the jalapeno with the sausage together--it's way better done here than at Le Donut 3 miles away (which surprisingly has the same 4.6 rating as Christy's). There the jalapeño is just sliced and put next to the meat. That being said, Christy's please put more cheese in your kolaches! It's hardly there.“

Donuts are at least as good, and they demolish Shipley's on kolaches (not hard to do) and the breakfast sandwiches.“

“My neighbor brought over an extra dozen donuts over from Home Cut Donuts. I thanked her, put the on my kitchen table but was reluctant 2 try them because they usually don't compare 2 the Houston donut shop errrr institution that has been here since 1936, but they have not been tasting like they used 2, lately. I eventually tried them ( 2 ). I put them in the microwave for 10 seconds. I took a bite. I was surprised. They tasted a lot better than I thought. The donuts were very tasty, especially w/ their sugary glaze. Next time, I want refrigerate them over night, microwave them & then taste them. See how they taste. That would be a true test. Would buy them again ? YES ! ! ! !“

Boudin was good and the spicy boudin did have a little kick but not too much. 3 small sausage and cheese, 1 spicy and 1 regular boudin, and a bottle of water was about $11. “We stopped in to Lee donuts this morning after spending almost 5 hours in the ER with my son. Of course, as a teenage kid, he was famished, and I realized I was too, and we ended up getting a variety of things, kolaches, brisket empanadas, donuts, croissant…and that was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had especially the kolache’s. That food made me feel so good I ate to my exhausted heart’s content and then fell into the deepest most peaceful sleep and it was like grandma’s lap.
