“Really like Jersey Mike’s, and am glad they opened a store in Bellaire...BUT...the past 3 times I’ve been in there, the Team Members were NOT wearing masks properly - had mouth covered with nose sticking out. As food preparation workers, they need to be more conscious - for their customers!“

“Charley's came to my life extremely randomly, I have never heard of it until today! I was in Walmart and just got done with doing inventory at all three of my properties, I currently manage in Houston, and I saw this restaurant in the Walmart that I had never seen before. The pictures looked delicious, and I just had to try one of their cheesesteaks. The Walmart I frequent in Atlanta has a Subway inside of it and I'll be honest I am not a fan of Subway, I was starving while shopping then suddenly I was overcome with joy because I got to try a new place.
When I got to the register there was no one in line so I was taking my sweet time making my choices, I ended up going with the classic cheesesteak and a real blueberry lemonade, the cashier was really young and we had a casual conversation while my food was being made.
I got my order and I was so hungry I decided that I was going to eat right then and there. The space was really big, they had plenty of tables and chairs, they actually had a cool backdrop and throne you can take pictures on! It's really cool to see. If I had someone with me, I would have taken a flick.
The food was tasty, I honestly don't know if it was because I had not eaten all day, and my taste buds were heightened, but my cheesesteak tasted a bit salty. Again, in their defense, I worked out and played basketball all day without eating, so that could throw my taste out of whack. With all that being said, the food was good, very filling, I do believe I received an adequate amount of food that I paid for, and that is always something to smile about. Next time, I am going to try their chicken and one of their milkshakes.“

“Let me preface this review by saying this: I haven't been to this place in YEARS. I've moved out of the state and was semi-randomly reminiscing on this place and how good it was! (I was ordering a pressed sub from another place like they do so well.) The simplicity and old school feel make me enjoy coming in and the roast beef on that homemade bread keep me coming back at least once a week. I didn’t a lap around the Walmart and ended up coming back for more and Mr. Guillermo was my cashier, really cool dude. All around a good experience, waiting for my food now!“

“Visited here recently and had a mixed experience. One thing to note is that this location doesn’t seem to participate in the same deals as other locations I’ve been to.

We ordered a vegetarian wrap for my wife (just spinach and eggs, no meat) and a meat wrap for myself, but her order was unfortunately made incorrectly with bacon.

That said, I appreciate how they handled it afterward. I called them, and they refunded the order and even said they would offer a complimentary meal, which shows good customer service.

Because of that, I’m willing to give them another shot.“

The shop interior does show its age - but maybe upgrade some of it to at least not to be too dated overall“

“We love Ike’s and their incredible sandwiches (always get your order with the Dutch bread!!), but we typically don’t eat in except on the rare occasion like today - we came in for lunch, and after ordering we waited for awhile for our sandwiches before the staff realized there had been a mistake on the board for placing our order. They turned around our sandwiches quickly after that, and the manager came over to let us know that they he had comped our whole lunch. This is the type of service and genuine kindness that’s hard to come by at restaurants these days, and we’re very grateful for his generosity.“

“Stopped by Mendocino Farms this week and had one of the best service experiences I’ve had in Houston in a long time. I came in not long before closing, which can sometimes feel rushed at other places, but the staff here were still incredibly welcoming.

A young lady named Ayisha helped me and she was an absolute gem. She recommended the Peruvian Steak sandwich and it was excellent. She was very attentive, which surprised me, and checked in with me a few times while I was eating to make sure everything tasted good and that I had everything I needed.

The whole meal and service honestly made my entire day. You really don’t see that level of care in fast casual places much anymore. She even remembered my name before I left, which was a very nice personal touch.

Everyone working there seemed kind, but Ayisha truly stood out. Mendocino Farms is lucky to have someone like her on their team. I’ll definitely be back.“

Maria, always helps us out! She’s always so kind, and at this point, knows us by name and always greets us with a smile! But to have the cashier remind everyone that they can add a tip, “though it’s not required” comes across as pushy or demanding. The tip jar is right there. The computer screen even suggests it. “Nguyen Ngo French Sandwich is a well-known Vietnamese sandwich store in the Houston, TX area. Sometimes, I stop by the store and buy some sandwiches. I like their croissant BBQ chicken and grilled pork sandwiches. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The cashier is always friendly to the customers. Most customers order the sandwiches to go. There are a few dining tables for people to sit down and enjoy their sandwiches, but many customers just order to go. The store's atmosphere is not cozy.“
