“I order on mobile about 2-3 a week and I usually come in fairly early, somewhere between 5-6:30 am. On the app, it does not allow for special instructions and so when I place my order, I usually have to call or place it right before going through the drive through (which I am sure is annoying for them). But I always get the same thing Grande Mocha Frap Double Shot Double Blended (special instructions: whipped blended in). In a world where everyone “needs their coffee” before they are kind or “gen z customer service” taking over, I am surprised to see this particular Starbucks is one of the friendliest, most helpful, prompt, and consistent business I venture to. I have not met a single employee here who doesn’t fit this description. There is usually at least one and I can point them out. But here, I cannot. Unless they don’t usually work at the window (I rarely go inside). Today, I went through the drive thru and Jordan recognized my name and order. He already knew what I was going to ask and I was extremely impressed. It seems like such a small thing but, as I am autistic and very routine based, this is a huge struggle for me and the timing always stresses me out. “Am I going to make it in time for them to blend my whip in before I get there so I don't annoy them with the correction?” For folks like us with severe OCD in this regard, it can make or break our morning (silly, I know). But I just wanted to thank Mr. Jordan and the rest of the staff at Starbucks for always being so pleasant as I am sure your clientele isn’t always. Thank you for being one of the only establishments in this town that does not invoke crippling anxiety when I show up with ridiculous expectations and needs.“
“This is a newer location, and the layout of the cafe is nice. The baristas do a great job making the drinks correctly. The line at the drive-thru can get long, but it moves pretty quickly. The Spicy Falafel pocket or the Tomato & Mozzarella on Focaccia paired with the Evolution Fresh Organic Defense Up make for a satisfying light lunch.“
