“Food and service was excellent ❤️ reasonable prices for premium food! my only suggestion is that they hire more people that speak fluent English considering how fast the RGV is growing. Both servers and the hostess in the front barely spoke any English. (They were awesome btw ❤️) Many people are coming in from all over the country and different countries as well. Luckily, I speak fluent Spanish and was able to communicate effectively, but I know there’s people in Brownsville who don’t speak any spanish. I had to help our waitress translate for my husband which I don’t mind doing, but what if one day they encounter a couple or a family that can’t translate for one another. Just a friendly suggestion ❤️ zero complaints ❤️ as mentioned, everything was delicious and the service was fast! ❤️ 10/10 recommend!“

“To start off, you pick your own seating. The waitreses were nice and attentive.I had the enchiladas with carne guisada plate! This is my go-to plate at mexican restaurants. I got my plate fairly quick. The enchiladas had good flavor, and the tortilla was soft. The carne guisada had a good flavor. Once I was finished, they offered me a complimentary dessert, but I was already full ? overall great experience!! ?“

“As we walked in, it took a few minutes to be greeted. After waiting, we proceeded to sit ourselves. We asked for teas with one waitress, then another waitress came by and asked us again. We proceeded to serve ourselves from the buffet.

It was not a great nor bad experience. However, service has a lot of opportunities.

The reason why I am leaving a 5 star is because their Pollo con Calabaza has been the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time! Great job to the chef or cook! I highly recommend their pollo con calabaza, you will not be disappointed.
I’ll be back, only to get some more to-go!“

“Love this little spot! The bistec and fajita tacos were delicious. The tortilla was soft and warm. So many spots fall short with their tortilla. It's like building a house on sand. You can't get far with a bad foundation! They didn't disappoint.

I will say, I did try one taco de pastor and it had a different taste. One I wasn't very fond of since I usually only order pastor if it's on trompo. But that is my preference. I should know better lol I will come back and try the flautas and report back!“

“Small humble looking restaurant but once inside you can tell this is authentic. Service was great, I was greeted immediately and a waitress brought coffee and a menu to me.I ordered the breakfast special "Chilaquilles with chicken, beans, and fried potatoes."It was only $5.99 !!!! Whaaat??? Yes only $5.99I added an over easy egg for a dollar more because gotta have that egg yolk smothered on top of the Chilaquilles along with the queso fresco and crema.The spicy red salsa was awesome and had just enough kick to go with the delicious meal.For the quality, price and service I give this place 5 stars!!!“

“The place was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly. My mom and I had the the caldo mixto (shrimp and fish). We liked it. It came with a side of rice and the option of tortilla/bread. My daughter enjoyed the mixto fried shrimp and fish plate. We visited the old hwy 77 location.“

I got the nachos which were delicious. They have several chiles to choose from, ranging from non spicy to deliciously hot. I can’t emphasize enough on the presentation. “What a cute little restaurant. A bit too hot in the atmosphere department, eventhough there were fans, I could only infer that a/c was not working. But their food was delicious, so putting up with the heat was tolerable. I had not had a great bistek ranchero since I moved out of mom's house 26 years ago, the rice and beans complimented perfect and the lemonade was perfect.“

My family of 6 was immediately seated and presented menus. Drinks and plates were brought out in less than 15 minutes. I wonder if it was timing or simply that they have an efficient staff, either way D' Tony's did not disappoint. The food was on par with other local Mexican restaurants. Nothing stood out as being better but it was good overall.“

“Well stopped by to eat here because we were dropping off dry cleaning near by. My wife and I had never heard of this place. We’re glad we got down to try it. This establishment didn’t disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and hot. And the coffee was strong and hot! It was busy, but the food didn’t take long to get to us. We’ll definitely be back to bring our kids to eat here!“

“Good flour tacos. Like the breakfast ones especially. Not a fan of their carne guisada which was very dry. The drive thru order window can be painful due to location and size of parking lot. I suggest ordering by phone. Also note only cash is accepted here.“

“This place has been my childhood favorite place to eat and I’ve seen go through generations. The prices are very affordable still like good old days. Food is good and now with the upgrades they have given into the place is very nice. My best choice when I come back to town for a visit this is my breakfast spot. ?“

“Located inside the Sunrise Food Court. Flautas deshebrada and the refried beans are Delicious! Salsa has a mild heat but sure is tasty. My mom chose the Enchiladas suizas, which were well stuffed with a delicious salsa verde. Prices are GREAT! For 8 dollars you can get a full meal with can soda included and likely still have leftovers for later.“
