“My husband and I had dinner there last night for the first time. The young lady who took our order was very patient and friendly. The food arrived to our table within a few minutes and it was great. Prime rib was on point and the pork ribs were as well. I could eat a whole plate of their green beans. A man, maybe a manager, came to assist us at our table as we were trying to get my hubby's wheelchair closer in for him to eat. Great experience over all and we will be back and recommend to friends.“

We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. “The tamales are SO GOOD ugh I haven't had good tamales in years. These knock the store bought and the in laws' tamales out the park. They're nice and moist, not dry at all. The seasoning for the meat is great and it's a perfect ratio of masa and meat. They aren't ginormous but they aren't flat and tiny (I've had some paper thin ones before). I think they're a decent size, especially for the flavor and value ($30 for 2 dozen). Gotta try their barbacoa next time!“

“Such a caring and compassionate General Manager, I just spoke with Ipo and told her about my food allergies and she was so caring and accommodating and gave me a list of ingredients and alternatives that I could do and she said at the time of ordering let their manager know and they will cook my food off to the side to try and avoid cross contamination. And that they have designated fryers for their fries. Love love love restaurants that have compassion and care for their customers with food allergies!!!“

“I got the 3 meat and 2 side order that came out to a little over 20 dollars. I'm so used to the serving sizes other barbecue places give for that amount, that I was astonished at the amount of sausage and brisket I was given. Meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection and I can't recommend them enough.“

“They have specials daily, they used to post them on FB frequently for a bit but now IYKYK what they are. I LOVE their Tuesday turkey plate special. It comes with mashed potatoes and greenbeans, stuffing, brown gravy on top, a roll and a shot of cranberry sauce. I don't like greenbeans so I get double mashed potatoes and they are delish. My husband does like the greenbeans, they have bacon pieces in them. I had stopped going for a while because they stopped serving rolls and did Texas toast instead and it just didn't taste the same. But they brought the rolls back and so I came back too 😏 The stuffing is to so good and I have gotten that in quart size before. My only dislike is that they put the roll inside the box and it makes it all soggy on the side that is touching the food. It's locally owned so I come here for my brisket, sausage, macaroni, baked potatoes and their fries are great too.“

“This has been mine and my daughters favorite spot for years, but recently we’ve gone 2 times in a row and they were out of ramen. That’s what my daughter gets and both times we’ve had to leave and go somewhere else. It’s disappointing but hopefully the ramen will be back and we can start going again. “I have ordered here many times, but last night I ordered the bake potato and soup, it was excellent, the baked potato was cooked to perfection, and I was provided with lots of butter, sour cream and cheese. The soup was excellent, will order this again, my food is delivered and they always provide napkins and utensils, etc. I live near several BBQ places, but this is the best, thank you.“

“Speedy service and friendly service!
There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal“

“We had breakfast at Bill Millers's while visiting my daughter in Cibolo. We chose to dine in and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the coffee strong and there weren't many people in the dining room. We stopped because the line in the parking lot, for their window pickup was CRAZY!! Figured it had to be good if that many people were willing to wait in that crazy line of cars! We weren't disappointed! Will definitely visit again when we return to Texas.“
