“Traveliing back to Ohio from Seabrook, Texas. We were trying to avoid chain coffe establishments in order to support local businesses. We found this great shop in Cleveland, Texas. As soon as we entered we were charned by the decor and atmosphere. We met the owners who welcomed us and told us about the shop. We ordered coffee, chai latte and some chicken salad, all were great. We stayed much longer than planned, falling victim to the checkerboard. We will make sure to add The Crossing to our travel plans from now on“

This is my second time visiting between 1 AM and 3 AM, and I have to give a special shoutout to the two night shift employees—both African American—who consistently go above and beyond. They are hands down the friendliest and most professional McDonald’s staff I’ve ever encountered.

They always greet me with kindness, serve the food with care, and ensure everything is hot and fresh. Honestly, the food quality during the night shift has been noticeably better than what I’ve experienced during the day.

As someone who works night shifts, I know how exhausting late hours can be. It’s not easy—and that’s why I truly admire and appreciate their positive attitude and dedication.

These employees deserve recognition and a raise for their excellent customer service. Every visit has been a five-star experience. Thank you both for what you do. 🥺💜“
