“Even though this Tommy Tamale is a branch of the main location in Grapevine, they do a fantastic job.

The food is great and the service is chill for the fast dining experience that it is. The atmosphere in this location is cozy, but for some it might be a bit too cozy and borderline claustrophobic.

“Tasty mexican food inside the Gaylord. Loved the atmosphere sitting by their created riverwalk. We had two littles with us and the servers were generous enough to seat us in a semi enclosed area they had closed down for breakfast. Excellent service!

Highly recommend the queso and guac for apps (made fresh). I had the barbacoa tacos and they were great. The chicken enchiladas got a two thumbs up review from the table too. Kids quesadilla is big enough to share for two smaller kids.

He explained how they were modifying the menu some and looking for some feedback for some upcoming changes. Hubby had the Ensenada and literally devoured it. JD told him about the chili topping as an option so my husband went for it and loved it. “Best he’s ever had”…his words. The taco was perfectly crisp (only way he likes his tacos) and the flauta was light and tasty. He also went on about how good his Michelada was too. Whatever mix they use is perfect. Hubby rarely raves but tonight he did. I had the Spinach & Mushroom enchiladas but didn’t read they had sour cream sauce (not a fan) but the dish was really good. Next time I’ll check to see if I can change that. The Salas are all very good and flavorful. The beer is super cold with a touch of ice crystals! After our meal JD told us about their decision to offer charro beans and gave us a sample. I plan to order these every time…they are oh-so-good! It was the first time here but sure won’t be the last!

“Rusty Taco is one of our favorites for date night. Super friendly staff and great food. Plus you get a punch card for free tacos. The menu is wide so there is something for everyone. Breakfast to Philly steak to fish and everything in between. They also have the juiciest limes ever. I have had their beef taco, chicken taco, shrimp taco, and tempura battered fish taco. They are all delicious in a crunchy corn shell but they have choices like flour or corn soft tortillas as well. The nachos and queso were also good. Frozen margaritas were very good and refreshing after a day in the heat. Everything was fresh and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. This is one of my favorite places in the area so far. I just moved here for work.

Fuzzy's is a great midtier sort of option. It's not upscale or gourmet, closer to fast casual probably but it's good.

Honestly, considering the proximity to other things, such as a Taco Bell, my advice would be if you want decent food, reliably and you have the option, then just go to Fuzzy's, don't roll the dice on the Taco Bell or others nearby, that's been my go to for years and it's never let me down.“
