“I’m from Miami, land of Cuban Coffee, coladas, and cafe con leche. This place has a whole menu just for coffee and I took a risk. I never drink Starbucks… but Old West is hands and hands above them. We were in Denton for a week visiting family and I had the Crème Brûlée coffee 4X….. first was at out first breakfast, and the rest were pick up orders! It’s SO DELICIOUS! Then, the place is so cozy, but best of all is the food! Generous portions, their hash brown casserole was AMAZING… my kids ate there like they had been starving lol…. I’m def thinking of them back here in Miami!“

This place is operated by a husband and wife team who said they have been operating the restaurant for 30 years, which explains why their food was so delicious. I didn’t hear any complaints about food, but I will say The Sundance Kid burger I had was DELICIOUS! If you can’t decide what side to get between fries, chips, or onion rings… skip the fries! The chips were pure deliciousness in my mouth and my husband and daughter swore up and down the onion rings were the best they ever had. Sophie was very attentive and personable and didn’t mind my 6yo talking too much, which is always a plus when people have patience for the youngest of the younger crowd! Between the atmosphere (even the bathrooms smelled nice and were super clean!), the wonderful staff, and the delicious burgers, we would love to come back! As my youngest said: “I give this place a ten out of ten stars!”“

“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. “We celebrated our anniversary last night at Graffiti Pasta. It was our first but definitely not our last dining experience there. From the moment we walked in the door to a very packed restaurant to the moment we left we were acknowledged & taken care of. Faith was our waitress & let me tell you, I have NEVER had a more amazing server. She knew so many things about the menu, was able to offer suggestions without being pushy, she was simply friendly, & just overall such a cool person. I would honestly come back just to see her. The meatball appetizer was our favorite part of the meal followed by the salad.“

“Finally tried this tiny taqueria in a crowded corner of a gas station, the food was great! We had the bistec tacos w/ beans & rice. The bistec was very well seasoned and had great flavor! The rice was great, the beans were good. We also ordered the pastor gorditas, they were very well made, non greasy and held together well. The meats had great flavor, were tender and tasted fresh unlike some places where the meat sits too long and dries out. Even though this is a tiny place, there was a line and waited about 15 minutes for our food but it was well worth the wait. The gentleman taking our oder was very friendly and the ladies prepping the food were hard at work. We will definitely go back as food this good is hard to find in this area. You won’t know what you are missing until you’ve tried it! ~ just sayin…“

“This Smoothie King is conveniently located down the street from me and I get a smoothie almost everyday. The staff is always upbeat and gracious and make sure to listen when I say I have a nut allergy so to substitute them in my smoothie. The manager remembers me and is great! Some Smoothie Kings I feel like don’t quite know how to make my everyday smoothie right, but I am always happy with the outcome here. I recommend this location.“

Our queen. Our Lunch MVP. She was kind, attentive, hilarious, and genuinely made us feel like we were the highlight of her day. She anticipated what we needed before we even asked, gave us fantastic recommendations, and treated us like old friends. She wasn’t just doing her job—she was the energy. She took a great meal and made it a memorable experience. Diana, if you see this: You’re the reason we’ll be back again and again. Give this woman a raise, a crown, and whatever shift she wants. Now, the food: • The pulled pork poppers? 10/10. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and smoky inside, with two sauces that made it impossible to pick a favorite. A flavor-packed appetizer we wouldn’t change a single thing about. • The fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese? Elite. Thick, crunchy, juicy chicken with all the right toppings and that creamy, dreamy pimento that took it into comfort food heaven. • We also tried the Lemon Pom Pom and a Strawberry mocktails—both light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced to pair with the richness of the meal. I ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich with pork, and did not realize it had an aioli until after I took a bite. I have an egg allergy (thankfully not anaphylactic!), so I approached the truck and explained my mistake. I was willing to pay for another sandwich for my own mistake. The guy said it was no problem to make another one, AND they had a vegan garlic aioli as well that I could have. The sandwich was 10/10 perfection. I will definitely come back.
