“Let me start of by saying: local Dallas residents really should know how lucky they are to have place like Ngon nearby. I was in recently on business and made my pilgrimage to Noon (an absolute must if you're in the area). Everything we ordered was fantastic. As we were leaving I noticed a radiant woman speaking to some just-seated patrons. I had a feeling... As we were walking out I asked if she was responsible for the food. Beaming, she said: :yes I made everything. I created the menu. This is my restaurant!". I told her that we enjoyed our meal profoundly and that we never come to Dallas without visiting her restaurant. I can't explain, but this lady had the sweetest smile and essentially a magical energy. I would be in weekly if I lived nearer. For the food of course, but also for the vibes. This woman is special and her gift to the culinary world is a superb experience. She deserves the highest of praises. Don't miss this place!“

“We were visiting from out of town and a local friend recommended this restaurant. My tween daughter and I had dinner here, and it was phenomenal! The food was so good, I went back and got takeout too. Can’t say enough about the delicious, clean food! We had fish tacos, smoked chicken salad and a small Brussels sprouts salad. Picky eater daughter had the kids chicken tacos and raved! Yum!“

I was offered a glass of ice water which I was not expecting but was great. I really appreciated that. Ambience was good. People were good. The food I ordered was good. The green Salsa and chips that came with the food were good.“

“It has been many years since I have had the pleasure of dining at The Zodiac Room. When I worked downtown this was our place to celebrate. We live in the suburbs but it was worth the drive in to do a little shopping and enjoy this beautiful restaurant. I took my Mother for an early Mother's Day celebration. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Popovers and strawberry butter are always a treat and my Mom loved her chicken piccata. Highly recommend The Zodiac Room.“

(chefs kiss) 🤤 I went to the downtown location next to the 👁️ it's such a cool little spot and the staff was awesome especially Sam. The coffee, while just black, was amazing in flavor. To my surprise they offer free ice water in both still and sparkling and copper cups to boot! “I always enjoy Houndstooth coffee. Good coffee and efficient staff. Unfortunately they forgot to add the syrup that I paid for and I was already out of the area before I noticed. Part of the issue with the restaurant industry is the demand for tips before you’ve tried the product, so when you don’t get what you paid for, then sometimes wonder why you tipped in the first place. Nothing against Houndstooth but this is the second time this week this has happened by two different businesses.“

I personally love the Peruvian Ceviche. It is the best ceviche I have ever had. Even if you’re not into drinking wine, this place is always on point with their delicious food. Plus they have a nice patio, live music and a very friendly staff.“

“This is a nice place to go, but I never feel like can stay very long. I go here to get a little work done in between appointments and grab a cup of coffee. They have a separate area with one table and then they have very small school type desks around, which are not reasonable to work with a laptop and paperwork. There is an outside area but there again the tables aren’t very conducive for doing work. It’s a good place to stop in for a short while and get some coffee. Not very comfortable places to sit. The service is adequate but not very welcoming and friendly. coffee has always been good. I also got a cinnamon scone and it was pretty good.“
