“Abigail, you’re doing an amazing job! You were wonderful tonight. Customer service and the food is outstanding. Keep it up ?. You were the only one running food and taking orders tonight. Hopefully they offer a pay raise to you or I’ll be back and help you find a job with the money you deserve!“
“Between Antonelli's for cheese and this place for gelatto and small sweets (macroons, baklava, stroopwaffle), Duval's 43-45 corridor is a powerhouse of small-scale, high-quality business. The gelato here is comparable or better than the other-best-ice-cream I've had (Bent Spoon @Princeton, NJ), and certainly does the Europe proud. I'm told the proprietor studied gelato in school and it shows.“
“This is a gem and carries the crown of best gelato in Austin. There is pretty high variance between flavors. Pistachio for example is perhaps the best in the world (I've had it across Europe and the US). Some of the other flavors, however, are average (vanilla, cookies n cream).“
“The best snowcones in all of Austin! I’m a collector of high quality spots and Casey’s is the only place to get a snowcone. The ice is like super fine snow. It’s soft and pillowy and holds the syrups amazingly well. The flavors are amazing and you can get ice cream or toppings if that’s your jam. Personal fave: cherry and pickle stuffed with pickles. Sounds weird but you’ll thank me later.“
“Delicious, the ice is the best consistency, it's literally everything you want. I really love new orleans style snow cones (snow balls) and I'd say that this is different, but related. The problem with snow cones and such is when the Ice is too chunky and all the syrup runs right through. This does not happen with theirs. Soo good. It's my favorite ice treat in Austin so far“
“Arrived 5 minutes before closing, had amazing ice cream (mint chip and cookie dough) and also got an oatmeal cream pie - WOW!!! So good, we went back the next night for more (rocky road this time as well). The man behind the counter was so friendly and we felt like family. Please go - you won’t regret it!Dietary restrictions: They’ve got you covered!“
“Random visit without expectations and felt nice after tasting the gelato.Tried more than 6 flavors and all of them tasted good.Taste -> goodPrice -> moderateQuality -> freshParking -> could be challengingOverall-> 5/5 if you visit without expectations.“
“Adorable place with super yummy soft serve in only fruit flavors. I had the Piña Colada, and the toasted coconut reminded me of the old Girl Scout cookies, samoas. (?). The ice cream is NOT super sugary and they have a vegan option. Try it out!Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids.“
“I like the drinks over here I was completely satisfied with the taste and the environment. This is my second experience and I have tried classic milk tea that I have customized and it tastes so good and want appreciate their efforts for satisfying the customers and I hope this will help for others for finding the best one!!!“
“great menu! got "the violet" and every bit of it was delicious. the only thing im sad about is not getting the larger size. definitely get the larger size! so worth every bit. immaculate vibes and excellent customer service. can't wait to come back and try something new :)“
“This pie was truly sensational! Extremely flavorful and tasty! The pepperoni is to die for and the sauce is out of this world! This is a rustic (sausage, green pepers, freah mozzarella) with pepperoni added! Don't skip by this slice of heaven. If you're in Austin, make sure you check them out!“
“Super cute little ice cream truck outside of a brewery we were visiting. Dark haired woman that was working was so nice. Ice cream was good but the COOKIE!?! I tried it when I was in town visiting a few months ago and I’m still thinking about it. I may fly back just to get another one.“
“I have been going here a long time. I love the quesabirria and I get it often. Sometimes when I'm less hungry I get the birria ramen which is featured in this review.Parking: A small gravel parking lot with about 6 cars worth of free spaces. It serves the traffic this place sees just fine“
“I was excited to try The Baked Bear after seeing the menu online, and they did not disappoint! The cookies I tried were all excellent, and the ice cream was yasty, too. These combined for some fantastic ice cream sandwiches. They were so good, during my visit to Austin I walked the 40-minute round trip on two separate days to have them!Kid-friendliness: Of course, the kids love the ice cream sandwiches here. There's not a lot of space inside while waiting in line but once you grab your treat, the play area outside is great for kids and pets to let out that energy.“
“Best chocolate chip cookies (when warm) in Austin, and really, most anywhere. we have bought the cookie dough twice, most recently earlier today. Very easy to follow instructions and they come out perfect. It is important to let them sit a bit where they will be overly soft. Bought this fudge like cookie/brownie that's also phenomenal (and very dense, in a good way). This place has a variety of cookies, and I believe they also have some hot and cold drinks, but have not tried those yet.Friendly folks at the counter. Inexpensive would not be a word to describe this place, but the cookies are so good, my comment would be "oh well, deliciousness comes at a price sometimes."“
“What an amazing experience I love bringing my daughter here getting some boba and mochi Donuts. The Ambiance outside is perfect to enjoy our desserts. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend coming early as they usually run out.“
“The only real gelato in downtown Austin! I searched for gelato and noticed the narrow metal tins which the gelato is stored in and told hubs we have to check it out (real gelato isn't presented as large mounds of fluff). We came late in the afternoon and sampled almost all of the flavors. I opted for the Stracciatella (chocolate chip shavings) and the Cassata (ricotta, chocolate chips, and orange peel). These two paired so well together which made for a delightful afternoon treat! In fact, I enjoyed it so much that we went the following day.“
“Parking is a nightmare with upscale pizza wine restaurant next door and shared parking lot off north oumd lane of North LamarFriendly staffDecent dine in area with local Austin punk music playing.Once you figure out where to park and how to get here is worth it!They have a unique Vanilla Pear Cake ice cream which I recommend in a chocalate waffle bowl with chocolate toppings! All organic, local, high end healthier ingredients.Local franchise family owned and you can find some of their products in local heb storesOne restroom to the back for men and women which they keep clean and has separate urinal.“
“I come here for the chamoyada alot. if youre in for something sour, sweet and refreshing, i recommend it. the flavor of the elotes is great but the only thing is that it is usually overcooked corn. ive been here many times and gave it chances but still its a disappointing. the nachos are on par and so are the hot cheetos with cheese. service is very fast which i really appreciate.“
“I only recently discovered Jeni’s, and it’s amazing. The aroma of the waffle cones/bowls hits you immediately upon entrance and it just gets better from there. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and the rotation of flavors keeps things interesting every time you stop in. Worth every penny!“
“Guillermo was very helpful and friendly - even recommended other food trucks around him to try out! Huge variety of options to choose from - fresh corn with lots of different salsas and spices, amazing aguas frescas, and other treats. Cannot wait to come back and try all their menu!“
“I first came and got their lemonade at the Long Center in ATX a few months ago and ever since then i have been craving it everyday!!!! Everything there is so rich in flavor and just so refreshing! Please follow them on instagram @dulcefridaatx and come see them when they pop up in your area:)“
“On the Busy Congress St, amazing location as there is plenty of paid street parking. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The ice-cream is surely premium. The flavors are just awesome, especially Rum Rasin ???The waffel cones are super crunchy and tasty. One of best I tried so far in Austin. I will return for different flavors..“
“I threw my sons birthday party at SnoRide, and it was a fantastic experience! Coordinating everything was a breeze, and the sno cones were a hit with guests of all ages. The shaved ice was delicious, and the unique flavors were a big hit. The face painting added an extra layer of fun, and guests kept complimenting it! The beautiful space SnoRide is set in truly makes it a hidden gem for special events. The employees were incredibly nice, professional, and accommodating. SnoRide made his birthday unforgettable, and I highly recommend them for any celebration. Thanks, SnoRide! ???“
“This place is a fantastic ice cream parlor!? Amy's Ice Creams? inside Austin ? International Airport ✈️ offers a phenomenal selection of delicious ? ice cream flavors! Definitely get the White ⬜ Chocolate ? flavor, Sweet Cream ? flavor, add Coconut ?, and their Pecan Praline Fudge! Staff ?? is friendly and professional and the service is quick. ⏲️ I wish they had more spots around the world! ?“
“Lick is always delicious! I had a scoop of the goat cheese, thyme and honey as well as a scoop of salted caramel! Rich, creamy deliciousness. The staff was cheerful, friendly and accommodating of me and my friend tasting a few treats. It was her first time and she really enjoyed it. Thanks a the delicious, sweet treat!“
“Love love love this place. We lived close for a short time and went every day during the hot summer. However lately it seems every time we go they seem closed. Unsure but appears to have inconsistent hours?!? But the snow cones are AMAZING.“
“MAKE YOUR CANDY FANTASY COME TRUE! They also had nostalgic candy from when I was a young teenager. When I was a boy I always fantasized about kissing my girlfriend with a mouth full of Pop Rocks! Problem was, I didn't have a girlfriend. But now, I was finally able to fulfill that boyhood fantasy with a mouth full of Pop Rocks, I made out with my giggling wife of 30yrs! We're not from Austin and I'm so grateful we found Yummi Joy.“
“I got a wedding cake snow cone and my mom got a breakfast taco and coke. She has been raving since the first bite! The snow cone was delicious and great for this weather. And I'm so happy to find a snowcone place that opens so early!!!!“
“Awesome place to go if u want amazingly delicious churros, very delicious for great price, the date night was amazing.Parking: Employee was nice enough to advise me not to park at the restaurant across, the restaurant owner across the street will tow“
“me encantan los productoz que vanden ,todo my rico solo cuidado con su personal e ido esta semana dos vexes y Las mujeres que atienden siempre enojadas no eh mirado una muchacha muy atenta y servicial que tenian en dias pasados con gusto le dejaba tip“
“I mean...Barbie ice cream with pink glitter?? Does it get any better? Not sure a review needs much more than pink glitter and ice cream, but just in case, here it goes! The ice cream was delicious; I can definitely see why Amy's comes so highly recommended as a locals favorite. The only issue I had was the layout of the restaurant. It was so tiny and once the line got crazy, you could barely move around! Plus parking was a nightmare. But all good things come at a cost, including delicious ice cream!“
“My family and I were visiting the city and stopped by this place. Hands down to their tasty agua fresca de frutas. Everything we tried, loved it. Service was a little slow but the wait was so worth it. I'll make sure we stop by next time we're in the area.“
“Went walking up SoCo and wanted icecream, but not wait in the long Amy's icecream line. The staff was helpful in letting us get samples, quick with our order, and very efficient! I got the brambleberry & lavender which was a yummy 10/10 combo“
“Lick ice cream is so good! You can choose cups or cones. I got a cup (like the paper cups) but realized they charged me for a vanilla bowl, which I'm pretty sure mine wasn't. I still enjoy the ice cream though so I rate it 5 stars.“
“Unless it was a joke that I do not understand, the "tiny" portion was more than enough. The ice cream was fine but not amazing. I appreciate the vegan option but would love more options besides vanilla.Dietary restrictions: Vegan vanilla was good but nothing special.Kid-friendliness: Sort of kid friendly because of the playground. It would also be nice to have seating that fit younger children. The benches are not movable and are good size for a grown-up but not for kids.“
“I went to Amy's Ice Cream and tried the double chocolate ice cream. It was rich, creamy, and flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was casual and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Amy's Ice Cream to others. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Here are some additional details about the food, service, and ambiance:Food: The ice cream was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and was very flavorful. I especially liked the double chocolate ice cream, which was rich and creamy.Service: The staff was friendly and attentive. They were happy to help me choose the perfect flavor of ice cream and were quick to bring my order to me.Ambiance: The ambiance was casual and relaxed. The shop was small but cozy, and the music was playing in the background. Overall, I had a great experience at Amy's Ice Cream. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the ambiance was relaxing. I would definitely recommend it to others.“
“Elofrut was conveniently located outside the H‑E‑B on 7th and ya girl has been craving elote for awhile. I got the small elote and it came with the Mayo & cheese automatically. They had two sauces, one that was more tangy and the other that packed a lot of heat.I put both haha and man was it good. They had a lot of other menu items as well (that I will try next time)The owners were very kind and helpful. I def found my new fav local elote spot“
“First off the stuff my boyfriend and I got was so good ! And the lady working (by herself) was super sweet and fast ! I definitely will be coming back and already referred a couple of people to this place ! (banana smoothie, banana split, watermelon snow cone, and elote!“
“Dropped by on a hot 100F afternoon to cool off and to enjoy some unique ice cream. I have been a customer of Amy’s for over 30 years and they do not disappoint. My tried and true is Mexican vanilla and strawberries mixed into a waffle cone. The combinations they have are up to your imagination. Love this place for sure.“
“It was busy and we were served at a reasonable speed, staff seemed friendly overall. Elotes and mangonadas were both great. Negative reviews of people coming in right before they close, get some common sense and grow up, let these workers go home without dealing with you being rude!Vegetarian options: Drinks and most food options are vegetarian“
“Only reason food is getting 4 out of 5 is because to me the portions are getting smaller. However, that's a reflection of the entire food industry because of how terrible a president Joe Biden is. Besides that though, shake shack is one of my favorite places. It's always a guarantee to get freshly made food that tastes amazing and a great shake.“
“I want to give a MASSIVE shout out to Alex for holding down the fort tonight all by himself!!! Like a true champ, doing his absolute best to accommodate everyone who came in with the utmost professional demeanor and patience!! Truly outstanding service by “
“I recently visited Amy's Ice Creams off of Lamar and had an amazing experience. I tried the Oatly Vanilla ice cream and it was absolutely incredible - so creamy and rich with the perfect vanilla flavor.Everything is super clean, and you can watch them make the ice cream fresh right there. The whole place just feels upbeat and happy. In addition to the delicious Oatly Vanilla, they have tons of creative, mouthwatering flavors to choose from. There's something for everyone. I can't wait to go back and try more!Overall, I highly recommend Amy's Ice Creams off of Lamar. The ice cream is top-notch, the vibe is fun and energetic, and the employees are wonderful. It's a great spot for ice cream lovers and for anyone looking for a cheerful, yummy experience. Two thumbs up!“

“I was not familiar with the froyo concept until we found Menchies, and now I won't go anywhere else for Froyo and use this location as the gold standard. The service is friendly and helpful. The place is very clean, and the toppings are kept fresh and refilled often. The selection of yogurts is pretty good, including sugar-free and vegan options. The app let me know when a new flavor hits this location. The topping and cone selection is more than expected for those yummy and insta-ready photo ops. There are also amazing froyo cakes available for those special events like Valentine's or birthdays. Love this place for the yums“
“The sorbet and gelato are AMAZING. Don't be an idiot like I was - I wanted a waffle cone but ordered the "waffle" by mistake and had my sorbet on two Eggo waffles! . Seriously the flavors alone are all you need but I did enjoy fresh fruit with my raspberry sorbet.“
“You really can't go wrong with frozen yogurt. It's as good as you make it! Place is always clean, nice sit down area outside with shade. Plenty of Flavors available. Staff is always friendly especially the guy there he's so nice! Totally recommended!“
“Stopped in here at random for a treat and then ordered by seeing something that someone else had that was new to us. We both chose Mango Molida's aaaaaannnnnd, my buddy hated it! Good news I LOVED it and drank mine and half of his, he went back and bought Strawberry milkshake and was well pleased. The Molida was interesting, savory and tart, and spicy and sweet, with purée and chopped mango! It was a new experience for me and I enjoyed it immensely. Saw several other plates come out and all of the food and drink looked fabulous.“
“They have so many delicious inventions here. If you want to try snacks and shakes that might be a bit weird but delicious this is the place. I love their mangonadas - real mango with mango ice cream and chile (hot sauce and hot powered) . They also have the normal ice cream and sodas and other snacks but I would give the new stuff a try as a special treat.“
