“THIS THE BEST TACOS BETWEEN LAREDO TEXAS AND MISSISSIPPI. I'VE TRYED TO EAT AT OTHER MEXICAN TACOS BUT NO GO!!!! THESE FOLKS MAKE AND TASTE THE BEST IT'S DIFFERENT. “Great Service ,Great ice cream Good service from young man with shoulder length black hair he said had we been helped and made the visit okay the 2 ladies in back could start with a hello and we will be with you in a minute but anyways There were 3 Hondo Sheriff vehicles outside and a long line in the drive thru so i told the family let's go inside and the 4 officers inside were the rudest country folks ive ever experienced A Hi how y'all doing would of been in order but dead stares like scary my family was all like what's wrong with them . I guess some officers don't have people skills . Nice place to get some road grub and dessert“

“I was having a rough day today. I had just gotten back from the vet, I’m pregnant and I was really hungry. I had parked at the very first order booth when you drive in and someone had come up to me and told me it didn’t work but I had just received a call from my doctor so I sat there for a while a on the phone. When I moved to go to another booth one of the employees came out to tell me that that booth didn’t work either, that they had noticed I was sitting there for a while, and offered me a free meal. I told her it was fine that I would pay and she kindly declined. The food came out hot and perfect. I felt bad because I had no cash on me to leave a tip, so I figured I would leave a good review to try and make up for it. I wish I would have gotten that employee’s name as she was very sweet. Thank you for your service Sonic. You really did make my day so much better than it had been going. It lightened my mood and I really appreciate it.“

“Came through late night otw to my family's 10:45 pm on 6/11/24 I haven't had fries an food this fresh since I was a kid. Like bag burning your legg type fresh yall need to give whatever crew that was here this night a raise an promote the dang cook.“

“The staff was amazing friendly (almost like a best friend) and super fast but yet really slow and neat. My sandwich looked like it was made by an artist. I would recommend to my family and friends to come and get a sandwich from this sandwich artist. Her name tag say "Skylar" but her heart said "wife".“

“**I DO NOT RECOMMEND** UPDATE 2/20 My parents had me order for them via the app. Two Classic Chicken Sandwich Meals. No Pickles. Both my receipt on the app and the physical receipt they give me both show "No Pickles". This would mean there should still be mayo, lettuce and tomato. Nope. completely dry. No mayo or other toppings...but they are both LOADED with extra pickles. Unfortunately I had dropped the food off at my parents' and went home when my mom called and told me about the error, otherwise I would have taken it back. It just keeps getting worse there. ----------‐------ 2/17 The slow service and lack of communication in their drive-thru is beyond ridiculous. Being the only fast-food restaurant in town and being right off the interstate, I understand it gets busy. But at least acknowledge someone sitting at the drivethru or the window instead of ignoring them for literally 15 minutes. Honestly, I don't mint having to wait in the evenings...just let me know if and when you plan to take my order...I frequently order in the app for lunch break or dinner after work. I am a teacher and have 30min. I have had to leave my order multiple times due to no one coming to the window or answering at the speaker. Their excuse is "we got busy". It has been like this for several months now. I will be driving to the other towns or ordering door dash from nearby towns during my lunch break because the service here is horrible.“

“This Whataburger is pretty decent considering that it's part of an HEB gas station too.

I'm not singing the high praises of this place but it's actually pretty good.

The people there are nice enough and have been very helpful in redeeming my points on my app too (they did a great job of helping me with that).

Don't be scared to stop in and buy whatafood here...it's the reason I'm doing a review.“

“Today was the 3rd time I got the #13, it was different today, in a good way! The previous 2 times I ordered this, (#13) my husband got the #7 just the quesadilla, and I ordered the #13 meal, and we received the SAME quesadilla.... the chicken was the same and I didn't know if it was because 13 was a different meal deal with the taco, chips and cheese and drink, but it was because of the chicken. Today's quesadilla was different chicken and the grilled cheese was on top and everything was in the box.“

“The sandwiches were great today. Fresh ingredients and bread and great service. My only consistent complaint with the Lytle location is that the ice machine for the fountain sodas has been broken for awhile...more than 6 months if not a year. Whenever we ask, the manager is always across the street at HEB getting ice.“
