“Brunch box has the most delicious hamburgers in Elgin and the BEST customer service. I’m sad they are no longer in Elgin. It was such a pleasure visiting them for a cheat day or 2, I’ll definitely be doing a road trip to visit and have lunch.”

“This is my new fav! I passed so many times but finally stopped today. I had the BEST chili rellano I’ve ever tasted. Beans and rice were over the top too! My husband got chicken soup that was enough for 3 meals and stuffed with veggies and chicken. New amazing flavors to each dish. Flavor explosion! The front Dining room is a bit warm but back dining room is a bit loud…still worth it. Can’t wait to go back.”

“Walking around downtown Elgin and these lovely people let my family and I in AFTER they had closed. They could have easily turned us away, but instead they invited us in and made us feel extremely welcome. Not only that, but it was incredible coffee!”

I’ll have to try the mango habanero sauce next time, I was a bit wary but turns out they give you plenty of blue cheese dressing to cut the heat. Atmosphere? It’s a food truck on the corner, but people were chill, the owner was cool to remind me they were closing soon so DON’T LEAVE and there’s a harmless drunk guy who comes out to feed the stray cats that might just be the true owners of the city.”

“They have changed owners! These reviews are before the new owners took over. The waitress came over smiling and spoke to me in spanish.. I said I don't speak Spanish. Her smile disappeared and from then on she was so rude and disrespectful! I ordered 2 tacos, (the Taco plate). I asked for some sour cream and the rude disrespectful waitress brought a cup of sour cream! I only ate 1 Taco and it was nasty, the meat had no flavor, just plain crumbled hamburger meat and greasy. I go to pay and she says $18.00!! 2 tacos, dry rice and bland refried beans!!! She charged me $2,99 for sour cream! I told her I just needed a dollop of sour cream And she said well you should have said you only wanted a little bit! She was very nice to the other patrons but they were all Mexicans IF YOU ARE WHITE (CAUCASIAN) DO NOT GO HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE CLEARMY RACIST!!”

“Fun place! We recently moved to the area and were checking out where we might be able to find breakfast that the locals go to. Tracy, our server, was fast, efficient, and very friendly. She even suggested an event that we might l like to check out, knowing that we were new to the area. We had a great time, and the food was excellent. We went back again. Evelyn was our server this time. Very nice, polite, efficient, all around great server! Food was just a good this time! I can't say it was quiet, but everybody was having a good time. Not loud, just people having a good time. We all sang happy birthday to a regular.”
