“I've only ordered takeout from Sourdough, but the sandwiches really are made with high quality ingredients, and I love the bread in how it's soft with crisp edges. Surprisingly, the potato salad is what really stands out to me though. Although I also like the tangy mustard-forward versions, I cannot get enough of the mayo-forward version (I believe) at Sourdough. The flavor is very delicate with a nice creamy texture, and it is definitely my favorite item on the menu.“

She answered all our questions, even what type of grapes the ice wine was made with. The true star is a carrot, served as a tribute to his mother. The steaks and duck were great but the carrot was extraordinary. Most places can cook a prime cut steak but this carrot. It is simple and tender. Sweet but not overdone. I have eaten Berns in Tampa and Christner's Prime in Orlando and this place is on an equal footing.“

We started with calamari and tuna tatar and enjoyed them both, although the ratio of cucumber to tuna was a bit off, taking away from the flavor of the fish. The brisket is extremely tender and holds up on its own weight, but tears as soon as you bite into it. I can't remember a week I haven't gone lately in the past years, at least me or my husband go once a week. The hot hatch is where it's at and the chips and queso. The fires are good too. You can get any Dilla as a salad too. They also have fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea and lemonade.
