50 Best American Restaurants near Fairview

“Went in to watch Sunday football with the family and I was highly impressed! The food was great and the atmosphere was electric. All the games were on massive tvs, and while there was an energy in the room, there is enough spots where you can still be intimate with a group. Our bartender/server was Jessica. She was highly attentive and provided great input on what to order. Great service and friendly! 11 stars, will definitely be going back!“

“locally owned by a sweet family. great weekday lunch special! 9.99 for burger, fries. and drink. menu has something for everyone..burgers, chicken, fish, gyros, salads "and more" and Edmond's seasonal homemade tiramisu is excellent :)“

“I highly recommend Harvest for their food. We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and this was our first time in the newer space since it is so hard to get a reservation. We came for my husband’s birthday and it was perfection from the minute we walked in. The host said happy birthday to him and then had us go upstairs to the live music area on the 3rd floor. We had to wait a few minutes but the manager took care of our cocktail order because of it. The music from the vinyl stripes was excellent. The waitress darnesha was kind attentive and super happy. What amazing customer service! He was also able to pick a dessert off the menu. Such an enjoyable evening. My husband’s day was made with the live music and great food. Thank you“

“Truly amazing birthday evening thanks to our son and daughter-in-law! Our sweet server, Demetrius, was so attentive and friendly. Allison, the manager stopped by our table several times and we ran into her as we were leaving. She recommended a red wine for me to try. The meal was served piping hot and beyond delicious! “We have been on the hunt for a breakfast place closer to home and we have found it! It is a beautiful upscale brunch place with a bar, with excellent food and over the top service. The coffee is from Italy with bold tones but no bitterness. It is difficult to find good coffee. The pancakes were light and sweet. The bacon is very meaty. I love Egg cited!“

“Hands down the best burgers and sandwiches in Plano! Smokin' Grill never disappoints: every time I visit, the food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. “When I travel I like to find local spots to eat rather than the chain places. I picked out the Ballard Street Cafe because it looked like an older place in an old downtown spot. I was not disappointed as it was exactly what I thought with exposed brick, wood floors, and a 50’s style lunch counter. In addition there were several tables and the required set of local characters sharing breakfast and gossip over coffee. The waitstaff was attentive and polite, and made you feel right at home. To complete the experience, I have to talk about the food. I ordered a 2 egg breakfast with chicken fried steak. It also came with choice of hash browns or grits and b&g, toast, or a pancake. I chose the b&g and grits. First off, the chicken fry was obviously hand breaded and cooked perfectly. They gave me a knife but it was fork tender. The grits were hearty and flavorful. The side of b&g came with TWO homemade biscuits and cream gravy. Everything was awesome! I ended up taking half my steak and the b&g home for a second meal. Getting ALL this with coffee for about $15 with tax almost felt criminal. If you’re ever in Wylie, do yourself a favor and check them out!“

“A group of friends/neighbors went to the Corral Grill Monday night for BBQ night. Warm greeting upon arrival and server was right there with menus and to take drink order. Options on this special theme night were all excellent and served quickly. Another great experience thanks to the servers, managers, staff, and chefs“

“Everything I've ever eaten here has been excellent!“

“My cousin and I visited the Cafe this morning for breakfast. Our waiter - Phillip - was amazing! However, the food this time was a little disappointing. My cousin ate her grits and I had the Frech Toast. We also had bacon and potatoes. The bacon was not cooked the way we wanted. A new order was made, but still not satisfactory. And it was very salty. So we did not eat the bacon. Normally the food is outstanding but today's visit was a little off.“

“While working also make sure you have a side investment going on for you, this was where I made a mistake before I got retired. But now I’m currently trading under Lisa with good return earnings, if you want to know more or learn about it then check my pinned post on my pro-file“

“First time at a Fish City Grill. Sat at the bar. Had their blackened red fish special. Not only was it priced reasonably, but it was clearly a very high quality, never frozen piece of fish. All sides and ingredients were fresh and fantastic as well. Will be back with friends and family.

Special thanks to Brien and Rob!“

“We love staying at this property and Jonathan has always taken great care of us. Thanks so much😊“

“Their menu is wild. I tried the fried shrimp and the fried rice. Both were amazing. The fried shrimp were perfect. Just wish they had a better tasting sauce other than the sweet sauce I got. The fried rice was great. The fries are well seasoned but some are a little soggy. I'm going to work my way through the menu. It's worth a trip. Keep in mind there's no way to eat so you're eating in your car or taking it home,“

“amazing food, excellent courteous staff. owner personally visit each table. very clean and relaxing ambiance...highly recomended.“

“I love this place! Tonight Kelsey was my server. I've had her numerous times before, and the service as always was superb! I drink unsweetened iced tea, and she brings me a new glass of tea before I have even finished the one I am drinking. Everyone is so friendly! The food is great, and if something is wrong with it they quickly replace it. This has only happened a time or two, one of which was my fault for not ordering correctly. In spite of that they still graciously replaced it. I can't recommend this place enough!“

“The Yard McKinney completely exceeded our expectations. Kyle, went above and beyond in every way, from taking incredible care of us to surprising us with extras and even bringing out vegan mayo for us to try. Truly next level. The atmosphere is beautiful, the music is perfect, the entire staff and concept are just amazing, and I love that they’re pet-friendly too. 🐾 Thanks so much for such a great experience! ❤🥹✨“
