We loved the watercolor effect on the cake they had done for us and I really really loved the taste of the cake! We had chocolate, red velvet and French vanilla!“

“For our 25th Anniversary we found this bakery on Google! We walked in to check out the restaurant, the dining room was full ( which is a good thing). Immediately we were greeted by a young lady name Hafsa. She showed us around, we tasted a cake and had a couple of sandwiches. She educated us on the food having no preservatives, and was good healthy food to eat. Hafsa was very very professional and attentive and took her time with us. The restaurant was a WINNER, and the food was FABULOUS! 😋. She catered our affair and it was a hit amongst our friends and family. Thank you Hafsa for all your hard work! And the cakes were AMAZING! “Got 2 bags of kolaches via the Too Good To Go app. If you don't have that app, you need to get it - now! You don't know what you're missing, and not just at the Kolache Factory. So much variety in those 2 bags. Lots of scrambled egg & salsa, some with smoked sausage links, one had bbq chopped beef, another had diced chicken with what seemed like a little Alfredo cream sauce and one that had tons of pepperoni. Each bag had a dozen kolaches in it. Well worth the drive to McKinney and what I paid for them.“

Owner is very nice and always says good morning. I recommend the cinnamon roll donut, glazed and chocolate donut/holes, plain blueberry cake donut (limited quantity), ham egg and cheese croissant, boudin kolache (very mild spice).

“It was an absolutely unbelievable effort from Megan and Tyler. I got the wrong cake for my friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be mocha, which she is allergic to. I didn’t have my receipt, and it was my fault for wanting a different cake but they didn’t make me feel that way. They were kind enough to go back and look for my receipt to help me get a different cake. I run a restaurant, and I can say no one else would do that. It took them over 10 minutes to locate my lost receipt, but they did it and offered me a resolution. No one takes that much time on a busy weekend; it clearly showed they care about their customers. Megan is an absolute asset to the company.“

Get the affogato if you’re in the mood for something decadent! What I really love about the shop is their support of the local arts! Each month there is a fresh showing of artwork on the walls. Usually there is a meet the artist event some time during the month. There is a space with casual seating and lots of little tables and chairs. There is one large table with higher chairs that is perfect for larger group meetings. If you haven’t been here, come check it out!“
