“Sari was extremely helpful and patient with me. I hadn’t been to Smoothie King in awhile. She made suggestions, was willing to wait for me to get on the app, I had to request to change my password . It wasn’t worth my effort as I was in a rush to get back to work. The store was clean, music was nice and mellow which is what I needed to calm down from my fast morning. I’ll be back soon. “We walked in to pick up a to go order and were warmly greeted. The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“We had a nice time and were overall pleased. The ambiance was nice. We were greeted by management; servers were nice and sommelier great. Food was tasty, especially the oysters. We arrived for an early dinner at 6pm. Service started out great, then after appetizer slowed down considerably. The main course took about 30 min to arrive after appetizer, but my wife says it was more like 45min. Once the main course arrived, our server disappeared. She did not come back to clear empty plates, ask about dessert, anything. I was able to flag her down for the check. Not doubt she must have been caught up with other customers but there is definitely room for improvement in service. We still would recommend the place and encourage others to enjoy it.“

“The food is delicious, but when it comes to paying for your food they bring this little machine to your table to payout mine you they already put the gratuity on your bill, even if there is 2 or more. The waiter or waitress have a nerve to ask for additional tips, but you don’t know that they already charge you gratuity and asking for more money. I don’t think this is fair and right to do. Me and my husband came for our anniversary we enjoyed everything, but telling us that you have to share your tips with others and asking for more money is very wrong. Not good for business 🤦🏼‍♀️“

“Our group of six came in with the kind of complicated order that usually makes people in the restaurant industry rethink their life choices. Grace handled it like a total pro, calm and unbothered, like she designed the whole thing.

Alex brought out our food perfectly. Every single item was right, which is wild because I can barely order for myself without messing something up.

“My partner and I came down to Dallas from OKC to celebrate our anniversary weekend. My partner has a severe gluten allergy so we always look for places that can accommodate that need. Our server, Matt, was incredible. He pointed out all the items that couldn’t be made gluten free. He answered all of our questions with confidence and clarity. We felt so comfortable with our selections. As for the food, OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! It was INCREDIBLE!!! You could have fooled me that it was gluten free (I know it was because I didn’t have to take my partner to the hospital)! Not only did the give us an amazing meal, but they brought out a special, gluten free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We also were given some gift cards as a thank you for celebrating our anniversary there. “Al Biernat's North needs no introduction. It carries a reputation for top-notch food and a dining experience orchestrated by an attentive staff. But this latest visit was especially gratifying for us because, well, it essentially was a "break glass in case of emergency" moment. Long story short, our original plans this evening fell apart at the very last minute. (Without naming names, let's just say there's a particular steakhouse and seafood destination in Addison that might want to take a closer look at their reservation-booking software... but I digress.) We knew Al Biernat's North was less than two miles away and we decided to try our luck at getting a table. Now, even though we were last at this Al Biernat's six days ago, their menu is so varied, their service is so refined and the atmosphere is so invigorating, that we did not mind coming here twice in the same week. Quite the contrary; we were jazzed to be able to do so. Because, really, the fantastic service starts from the minute you walk in the door. I've commented on the front desk staff before but it bears repeating that they are quite excellent in greeting guests and providing an awesome "first impression" for everyone walking through the door. We were also quite fortunate to be seated with Tanner, who remains an absolute marvel of a server. Quick with the service and able to project a positivity that could fill the entire Owl Room (which, by the way, having never been seated in the Owl Room until now... I really dig it!), Tanner continues to be an essential member of the Al Biernat's North team. Sincerest thanks and appreciation to the team here for not only rescuing our evening plans, but for also making for an exceptional night out. “We came in to celebrate a 70th birthday. Everything was great. The manager and wait staff assisted with our accommodations that allowed our group tables to be near each other. We enjoyed the food and the service was 1st class. I have dines here a few times before and the service remains top class. The food was awesome from the appetizers to the main course . “This is my new favorite restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem and stumbled upon it on accident. The staff here is amazing. They always take the time to explain the menu and help explain what is what. The staff Is 5 stars.

My go to here is the chicken noodle bowl. It is always piping hot with fresh white meat chicken, vegetables and noodles. I could literally survive off this meal. I can genuinely say that this is a very healthy well prepared meal.

I also enjoy the sesame balls, they are always made to order and very fresh. I have also had the spicy tofu ( amazing), the dumplings ( also great). I usually toggle between the green tea and soda but always have a glass of water near by in case I add in some chili sauce to my meal.

“I was very skeptical of ordering gelato from Cavier, especially with it being located 8 miles (17 minutes) away, but me and my husband were needing something sweet and I went ahead and placed an order for 2 small gelatos. This was our first time trying this place also. When the order first went through, it said it was gonna take about 30 mins to get here and then it changed to 42 minutes, so I was thinking... ”Great, it’s gonna get here all melted”. Luckily it ended up being delivered within 30 minutes but still it was a long time for it being gelato. We opened the bag and it was BEYOND my expectations. It was packed in a big styrofoam container ( I was thinking it was gonna be in a very small Paciugo like container). I opened the top of the styrofoam lid and then removed the nicely placed cover and unveiled the most delicious, STILL FROZEN, gelato. 😊 Can’t wait to order more in the future! Definitely worth it!“

“Service and presentation were good. The food, however, seemed to be made to be more friendly to non-Vietnamese eaters.

The meat and dipping sauce in their version of Bun cha Hanoi were salty compared to what you would have in Hanoi. Vietnamese food, especially in Hanoi, is known for its lightness so that some would find it tasteless without modification.

Their Bun Bo Hue had too much of lemongrass flavor, maybe to mask the shrimp paste that would be repugnant to the uninitiated.

I would recommend this restaurant as an entry to Vietnamese cuisine.“

“Our family goes here all the time when we’re craving some authentic Thai food. It’s definitely the best in the DFW metroplex and the fact that they’ve been around for almost 40 years is a testament to their quality and service. You feel like you’re part of the family as soon as you sit down. The owner and his family are always walking around asking if you need anything. Their wait staff is also great, especially Ariana.
