“We decided to give this place a shot for my wife's birthday lunch. We were not disappointed. The food was so fresh with terrific portion sizes and was at the perfect temperature making the crab easy to crack open but not over cooking the crab meat.

Our waitress was quite nice and attentive with no waiting on refills, which is impressive for the amount of water my wife was downing.

We will be back and you should come come grab a bite.“

And I was NOT disappointed.
The service was excellent, the decor was cozy, and the food was divine. The miso soup was perfectly done, not too salty, not too bland, but nice and hearty. The chirashi bento was amazing. Instead of the usual meh salads they give you squid and seaweed salad which were delicious. The half tuna rolls were more tuna than rice and were fresh and delicious. And the chirashi was just heavenly. Each piece of sashimi was topped with its own seasoning to really bring out the flavor of the fish, complimented by the high quality rice and salmon roe underneath. I was so satisfied by the food I ordered dessert and got to taste the amazing tempura cheesecake. Though pricey, it was worth said price. I left the place full and happy and will be back. 10/10“

We really liked that booth location as it was semi private, good day time lighting and just cozy (even though the whole restaurant has a nice vibe regardless of where u sit). We always enjoyed the pleasant service at Truluck's and this time our server Mickie was just as wonderful as our previous experience at Southlake. “Ate the Irving location and it was nice but the portions are a lot smaller… at least for my Hudson Salad, I would suggest the one on Lovers Lane. The salad on the left is at Lovers Lane and the other is Irving and you can clearly see more of the bowl. They were both delicious and service was great but I was really disappointed.“

We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. “Soooooooo good! My husband and I frequent the FW location, and been to Arlington location once. So when we found out about Coppell location (closer to us), we knew we needed to go.
We had the grilled salmon (traditional) plate, side of hushpuppies, lobster roll with fries and everything was insanely good! This location turned out to be our favorite, no doubt.
The employee that took our order was cool and helpful to everyone.

“The shrimp and scallop orecchiette pasta was amazing as well as the service, I didn't really expect too much from a restaurant residing in an airport, but they definitely delivered. If all other items are just as good, I would have thought this is food from a fancy seafood restaurant by a pier or beach or something. I thought it was courteous of them to have the servers ask their customers what time they're boarding their flights so they can prioritize which meals to get out first. My server was Dylan and he was exceptional as well with the energy and attitude he's got going. Overall a good experience while having my layover in DFW!“

The poblano soup, Asian salmon, and one dessert for each of us were wonderful. Francis was his charming self. Our waiter was attentive and efficient.“

Maybe it was the day and hour that we went but everything was missing a bit of flavor

Let’s start with the Oyster platter.. pico was fresh and it could’ve been better with more flavor..

Next up is the Tosti-Viche - I was thinking it was okay with more salsa that they had in the buckets.. 4/5 on that one

We also ordered Tacos Governador and Fish Platter.. they were alright.

Like I said, they need more flavors and seasoning.

If you’re in the mood for live music, this could be a good option, with the only exception that you’d have to come when there’s more ambiance.

This place needs more spices and better house salsas to give their food some life.

However! There’s a photographer that took our picture and she framed it for us. That was a sweet touch!- and yes you have to pay for it.
