“My new favorite thing is the Best Buffalo Chicken bites. They're like little deep fried dumplings but they're crispy and the buffalo chicken filling is delicious. I also found out I can mix slushy flavors. Currently I'm digging grape mixed with blackberry, extra syrup, and added nerds!!!“

“I’m going to be fair with a four star rating due to this just not being my thoughts as to what an Italian ice is supposed to be. There’s gelatos, there sorbettos, the granatas, and then there is this. They are kind of like a mix between a granata and either a sorbetto or gelato depending on what you get. When I think of Italian ice, I think of a tart lemon or a savory sweet strawberry. However, this is just not what they serve. My daughter liked it, and her friends seemed to as well. I would prefer a simple snowcone to this. However, they do seem to achieve what they are trying to do with the crowd that they are focusing on. If they ever got a super sour option, I would be completely down to try it again. Until then, I will be making my own granatas.This positive score is only for what my daughter and her friends said about this place.“

It is not as "nice" as the high style, high design pop shops as it is mostly a wholesale store, used to supply the guys who sell pops out of their bikes. But why pay 300% more for decor? La Flor's pops are fresh, made in Fort Worth, with great natural flavors and real ingredients. Highly recommended for folks who want a high quality treat for a great price.“

“We always get ice cream on a trip. That's our way of ending our day/trip on a sweet note. I looked up ice cream shops in stockyard and MELT ice cream popped up at the very front. Then I walked out of a chain burger store and noticed, hey, it's right across the street and people are eating ice cream in this 50 something degree weather, this must be good.I smiled at a mom walking out of the shop with her kids, and asked her if the ice cream is good. She gave me a thumbs up and said it's worth it. When we walked in the store it smelled amazing, I felt like walking into a bakery. I wanted to try out fun flavors but my kids insisted on what they know best- vanilla bean and strawberry. As a family we discuss, negotiate, and compromise. So we ordered vanilla bean and strawberry.Since we're sharing the ice cream and cone, I told myself it's okay to order 2 scoops. Vanilla on top, strawberry below, in a vanilla cone. But oh boy it was gigantic and it took the 3 of us a good 15 minutes to finish. The vanilla was surprisingly sweeter than the strawberry but I really appreciate MELT not adding too much sugar and using fresh ingredients. We can really taste the difference. We will come back when we're in the stockyard. Hopefully, the kids will at least let me try chocolate then.“

I love the strawberry and water popsicles but they also have an incredible smoothie with fresh strawberries and milk. (There are lots of other options as well - I’m just in love with strawberries!)FYI: The shop is named after one of the Mexican states that borders the Pacific Ocean and is famous for its picturesque cities and churches,If you’ve never been to a Mexican ice cream shop, the employees here are so nice. They can explain the various options and even have tiny cups to sample drinks.Highly recommend this shop!!“

When you walk in, there's freezers to your right. Just grab a plastic bag that's hanging on the wall and load up. It's $1 per popsicle or $9 for 12 popsicles, which is such a steal. They also sell elote and other Mexican desserts (fruit cups, juices, etc). They accept credit cards!“
