It's got a beautiful butterfly and wildflower garden, an outdoor botanic shop, and an indoor shop selling adorable hand-crafted items, as well as a variety of jams, canned goods, and yummy local snacks. And, of course, they offer a unique selection of wines from their vineyard. You're allowed to sip the wine as you browse the shops and gardens. “My wife Caroline and I stopped at Nury’s on Main Street in Fredericksburg. We loved the restaurant! The atmosphere, friendly staff, great selections of delicious cuisines, good quality and value. We met the owner Nury and she was so nice and friendly. We ordered some beef empanadas and loved it. We’re definitely going back. It’s our favorite spot now.“

“I’m a club member at Jenblossom as well as a winery owner in the area. At my winery, quality is all we care about - Quality of our wine, venue and hospitality. Eve was our ambassador the day I brought some friends in for a tasting. She did not know I’m industry, nor did she know how high a bar we set for quality at Covington Cellars; so we weren’t getting special treatment.

Eve was magnificent leading us through the flight. She captured the stories of each wine and answered the questions her guests had with ease. She’s a natural at hospitality, and that’s been my experience each time I’ve visited Jennblossom. Quality matters here, too. Highly recommend.“

“We ate at Leroy’s this afternoon to reconfirm what we thought first time we ate here. I’m reporting in to say that yep, it was just as good this time as our first time! We both had a taco first time: L had brisket taco and I had a pulled pork taco. Yum yum. Beans were also very good. And a peach cobbler for dessert. Delicious. Today we each had an order of street tacos. Also came with beans and a grilled pepper on the side. Another yum yum. And once again, peach cobbler…this time with ice cream. Very nice staff that checked on us several times. You can count on us, Leroy’s, as becoming regular customers!!!“

My husband and I spent the evening walking around Main Street sampling different appetizers, and this one stood out as the best by far. It was so good, I had to go back for another one before we left the next day! Out of all the wineries we visited, this one truly stood out — it’s one in a million! Their wine collection features top-tier brands from overseas, and each bottle we tried was exceptional. Mr. Alexander, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his collection — he made the experience both educational and fun. Alexander Vineyards also has an amazing wine club and hosts monthly events with live music and exquisite food — definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area regularly. If you’re planning a visit to Hill Country, make sure Alexander Vineyards is at the top of your list!“

We were sat immediately and the wait staff was wonderful (friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable). We started with fried ravioli (WOULD RECOMMEND), my wife got the special (Fet. Alfredo) and I got lasagna. They were both 11/10, best lasagna I’ve ever had. Bread was perfect. So happy we lucked into this spot will be a must stop when coming back to Fredericksburg!“
