“I’m a club member at Jenblossom as well as a winery owner in the area. At my winery, quality is all we care about - Quality of our wine, venue and hospitality. Eve was our ambassador the day I brought some friends in for a tasting. She did not know I’m industry, nor did she know how high a bar we set for quality at Covington Cellars; so we weren’t getting special treatment.
Eve was magnificent leading us through the flight. She captured the stories of each wine and answered the questions her guests had with ease. She’s a natural at hospitality, and that’s been my experience each time I’ve visited Jennblossom. Quality matters here, too. Highly recommend.“

“Blew every place we when to out of the water Brice was the best and the wines that him and his wife created blew every winery in Fredericksburg out of the water. Beautiful smooth and delicious Every glass we had was better than the last. If you come to Fredericksburg you HAVE to stop at Serrano“

“The wine was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the late harvest and sweet red wine. My husband and I did a tasting and it was a great experience. We didn’t feel rushed at all. I really loved the atmosphere. Their wine glass are pretty cool too, if you like collecting wine glasses like my husband and I do, definitely grab a couple from them!“

“We had an amazing private tasting experience at Slate Theory Winery. The wines were outstanding—thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and full of character. The cave setting was truly incredible and made the whole experience feel unique and intimate. Our host, Alisa, was the absolute best. She was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wines and the story behind the winery. Her attention to detail and welcoming energy made us feel right at home. Highly recommend Slate Theory for anyone looking for a memorable and elevated wine tasting in the Hill Country!“

“We ate at Leroy’s this afternoon to reconfirm what we thought first time we ate here. I’m reporting in to say that yep, it was just as good this time as our first time! We both had a taco first time: L had brisket taco and I had a pulled pork taco. Yum yum. Beans were also very good. And a peach cobbler for dessert. Delicious. Today we each had an order of street tacos. Also came with beans and a grilled pepper on the side. Another yum yum. And once again, peach cobbler…this time with ice cream. Very nice staff that checked on us several times. You can count on us, Leroy’s, as becoming regular customers!!!“

“Omgoodness! Iykyk! This place is $$$. Greasy, juicy burgers in a paper wrapper, fries in a brown paper bag and both are as COUNTRY as you can get!! This is the place for a great burger, cold beer, hot fries and awesome music ❤️ Not even sorry about the pics of half eaten burgers, that’s how good they were! Don’t sleep on the Habanero mango sauce…..amazing“

“The atmosphere was a great vibe. The Staff was very friendly and very knowledgable about their wines. That morning they had just hand picked their grapes for their wines. They shared the grapes with us and they were delicious. I really like white over red but I bought a red and loved it! They also have all their awards displayed for their wines. Alot of gold metals! This winery is well worth the visit. I will be back.“

“We walked in 1h before their close time on a Saturday and were able to sit in one of their private rooms. The wine selection was great, staff were friendly and the piano show was simply amazing.

“My wife Caroline and I stopped at Nury’s on Main Street in Fredericksburg. We loved the restaurant! The atmosphere, friendly staff, great selections of delicious cuisines, good quality and value. We met the owner Nury and she was so nice and friendly. We ordered some beef empanadas and loved it. We’re definitely going back. It’s our favorite spot now.“

“They are open for total eclipse April 8, 2024. Great choices, hamburger to bbq to Mexican food.. and snowcones. Ask for Italian ice.. amazing.

“On a gloomy day in the hill country with a few hours to spare, we decided to stop in for a tasting, and were wonderfully surprised! What a great find... The wines were superb (especially the Malbec). Having the opportunity to meet and talk with the vinterr was awesome. What a personable guy with a great story. Highly recommend (much better than the other bigger names in the area).“
“I got to try Hye Cider at H‑E‑B and I was surprised! I’m not much of a cider person but wow this actually tasted really good! I really like the flavor of the Hye Heaven, it’s more sweet but not overly sweet which is just the taste I go for nowadays. I definitely recommend!“

“I’m not sure where to begin. My husband and I ate lunch on the back patio today with our dog, Dino. We were promptly greeted by our server Jo, who must have written the manual on great service. She was attentive, witty and full of information. Our food was equally as great, we’ve eaten quite a bit of bratwurst in this town in the past 5 weeks, and theirs is lights out. Oh, and to top it off the live music was awesome, check their schedule so you don’t miss Cliff Crawford.“

“Absolutely FINGER LICKING good burgers!!! You want a fresh cooked burger with homemade fries and rings!? This is THE SPOT!! My burger was oozing with goat cheese and a mouth watering 1/2 pound beef patty, hell I even added a fried egg!!! We will be back again with our family so they can indulge in these masterful creations! Let’s not forget the stuffed, deep fried avocado!!!! TO-DIE-FOR!!! Thanks guys for a delicious meal! Now to nap! LOL“

“Ever was an excellent server. He check on us several times. Our lunch was absolutely delicious. We were seated right away. Great atmosphere. We were waited on, served and out in 45 minutes. We were there for lunch at 12:30 pm. We highly recommend this place for some great German food. This is the 3rd time I have been there and the food is always great. 10/13/2022“

“This is a must do when in Fredericksburg. Barbara was great! She was our favorite from the entire trip. The wine and food were top-notch, just like Barb said. The flowers are amazing! After a day of tastings and bottles, unfortunately, we couldn't buy any. Next trip, though. It's definitely worth another trip. ?“
