“A real German born reviewer here.Yes, yes, and yes to this place.Ambience is Western themed with some German klitsch if you pay attention.Outdoor dining area Biergarten is nice.We chose front shaded Porch outdoor area to people watch.Lively Server Stephanie (Steph) is a Rockstar. She deserves a following.The draft Beers (Kölsch) were Cold.The food was great and definitely geared toward American pallets since most will never experience the real deal in Germany anyway.My Jägerschnitzel was great.The friend ordered The Warm Shrimp Slaw, not German, but she loves Shrimp and said it was delicious.Overall we were thrilled with the Place, the Service, and the Food.I long for a Restaurant in America with only German choices, cooked by a German Grandma, but those days are the past, and this place made me feel like I was back in Germany, dining out, and enjoying a moment.Rare 5 Stars from me when it comes to authentic Ethnic dining.Good job Altdorf!Good work Steph!“
“Very good food....Chicken Tortilla Soup. Plenty of chicken and good flavor and the "cup" was really enough for my lunch.The beef enchilladas were good, beans were good.Service was OK, but we did have to flag the waitress down a couple of times. We were there mid afternoon, so she wasn't busy with other customers.Atmosphere....just a small place on the south side of Fredericksburg....it was clean.A decent value given the quality of food . We will go back when we are in the area.“
“I was there for several hours on 3/13, apparently at the same time as Renee, who wrote a negative review about our server. I guess Renee didn’t notice that this particular server was working a dozen tables. Pretty sure that no customer was neglected during the two occasions that she spoke to my buddy for about 60 seconds when delivering drinks. This was the second time in two nights we stopped by to enjoy the excellent music and on both occasions received great service. Maybe Renee has never worked a customer service job but recognizing and being friendly to customers (especially repeat customers) is a positive attribute!“
“Group of four ate here on April 14. Two had tacos, and two had fajita salads. Was a thoroughly enjoyable experience from beginning to end.Service was excellent, servings were plentiful, everyone thought their food tasted great, and prices were reasonable. Food was really flavorful, and ingredients (meats, vegetables, tortillas) tasted fresh. Everything came out from the kitchen really fast. What more could you ask for?“
“The thing about this place is that if you just order entrees, you can get a load of food for super cheap. It's really fantastic. You can get a couple of tacos and a couple of quesadillas for like 8 bucks. You can walk away full as a king, having spent the money of a peasant. And I love it. The food is good too.“
