“Someone brought me a brisket sandwich for lunch and it was pretty good. I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon. Was 1 person in front of me, ordered the sausage and brisket plate. It took about 15 minutes. The brisket was as thin as receipt paper, the sausage was cheap. Lemonade was awful!! BBQ sauce was bland! I don’t know what happened between the sandwich I had and the food I walked in to order. I’ll stick to Burns BBQ in Acres Homes…especially when it comes to flavor!“

“My wife and I tried Rolling Barbecue & Stone today, and everything was amazing. I ordered the two-meat plate with beef ribs, turkey, collard greens, and chicken dirty rice. My wife had the pork sausage, brisket, mac and cheese, and green beans. We also ordered the smoked jerk chicken and peach pound cake.
First off, the turkey was the best barbecue turkey I’ve ever had. It was moist, flavorful, and had the perfect texture. The beef ribs were cooked well, seasoned perfectly, and still allowed the real barbecue flavor to come through without being overwhelming. The collard greens were excellent, and the chicken dirty rice was a 10/10.
My wife said her brisket was well-seasoned with great texture, and we both really enjoyed the entire meal. The food took a little while to come out, but nothing unreasonable, and the customer service was great. Also, the peach pound cake was honestly one of the best homemade desserts I’ve ever had.
This meal made our Fourth of July perfect. Thank you all — we will definitely be back.“

“I had a fantastic meal at this location recently. Everything served was hot, fresh, and cooked exactly to order.
I particularly enjoyed the steak and the sides. The broccoli was perfectly tender, and the seasoning on the meats was spot on. It is always a treat to have a meal where every component is handled with such care.
The plating looked great, and the flavors really lived up to the presentation. I will definitely be coming back here again soon.“

“It was four minutes till opening, we had walked in man I was with is 80yrs old. Told we couldn't sit at a table or bar just to wait outside on bench. We left not at all happy couldn't believe we couldn't stay inside. Forget their Rules, we ate at a more welcoming restaurant.“

“Old Fashion BBQ on the Southside. It was our first visit. We ordered Link Dinner, Chopped Beef Sandwich, Homemade Chili and Vanilla Cake. The meat is very good and THAT SMOKE can be tasted before you even place the food in your mouth! Best Kept Secret: Homemade Chili. I love their bbq however their Chili is off the chain!😋 We have been searching for BBQ in Houston that tasted like 'what we grew up eating'... and they nailed it. Friendly staff... We will return!“

“BBQ is good. Love the jalapeño sausage. Baked potatoes are big and loaded with meat. Hubbies favorite is the sliced beef brisket only. Cheeseburgers are really good served with hand cut fries. Sauce could have more flavor, but overall very good meals.“

The Brisket beans are devine! 😉 If you are really hungry order the El Jefe!! The brisket and sausage sandwich is one of my favorites. But that smoked turkey is probably the absolute best turkey sandwich I've EVER had!!! I definitely enjoy eating here every month.“

“This bar is pretty nice I love the outside and they have fans to keep the skeetters off of you. During the summer is good to keep some of the heat off also. Been here when they've had live bands which is super cool. A few times they've had DJs outside on the area and it was a blast. I don't know when they have these events its just by luck that I've been there. Food is ok. Wings and fries but decent. They have pool tables and other games and several TV to catch whatever game you wanna see. Overall its a cool place for a drink.“
