“After several months of disappointing experiences at Subway, I was pleasantly surprised today. The young man working who’s name was Joseph was absolutely outstanding. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and seemed to genuinely care about providing great customer service.

My sandwich was made perfectly, the store was well-kept, and the entire experience reminded me why I used to enjoy coming here. It’s amazing how much of a difference one employee can make. I hope management recognizes the excellent job he’s doing because he turned what had become a frustrating place to visit into a positive experience again.“

“My server was super patient with me as I was having trouble deciding. He made the sandwich exactly as I asked him too. Zero complaints about service. The bread was a little off today. “I am a Stage 4 Kidney Cancer fighter who has lost both kidneys because of my battle. Now I am on dialysis there is not much out there that fits the renal diet. After dialysis I’m starving and have to watch out for phosphorus, potassium, sodium and fluid intake. With some research I found out that Jersey Mike’s Roast Beef is made fresh and low in both sodium and phosphorus. Ask for no cheese, tomatoes, or salt and you have yourself a delicious renal friendly winner. I started craving these subs after my dialysis sessions and the staff started to recognize my wife and I. With big smiles they would greet us at the door “Hi! #6 no cheese, no tomatoes, no salt” and stat making my sandwich before we even got in line. We feel so special there. My wife loves Jersey Mike’s too so she’ll get a #13 here and there. But the service and quality is by the best I’ve ever experienced.“

It was the hot honey dorito nachos.
My 80yr.old father wanted to try it.
Stephanie was so kind on the phone that I wanted to make sure that she was there when I ordered mine.

Yes, the sandwiches are consistently delicious, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming—but what makes this location truly special is the way they support our San Antonio community.

Rob Thomas went above and beyond to support more than 100 Boy Scouts who were working in the pouring rain on a major service project benefiting our veterans at VFW Post 8541. That kind of generosity and community spirit says so much about the people behind a business.

It is easy to leave a review when the food is good—and it absolutely is—but I think it is even more important to recognize businesses that choose to give back.
