“We live in Hollywood Park and Purple Garlic is right in our neighborhood. This is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is so friendly and fun! It’s literally almost like Cheers “where everyone knows your name” even if you haven’t been there in a while! The food is excellent, always served fresh, extremely delicious and hot out of the oven. They have a nice wine list, but you can also bring your own vino. We’ve always had great dining experiences at Purple Garlic and that’s why it’s been so popular for all these years!“

“We have come for anniversaries,birthdays and celebrations and each time we come we are welcomed like family. Everything is always perfection from the food, atmosphere to the service. I highly recommend but be warned you'll find any excuse to come here 😉“

“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. Food was delicious, cutomer service was excellent, I truly love the atmosphere and recommend it 100%“

“My husband and I just left after eating some of the most delicious foods! The red fish and baby scallops ceviche was so fresh, the brie bruschetta was amazing with a great flavor mix from the tomato-pepper marmelade, I had the quail with chorizo grits and black beans, what a delicous combination! And my husband had the lamb with mint and goat mashed potatoes with grilled asparagus: this was like fireworks in your mouth! We finished with the Amaretto crême brûlée, and the bread pudding with cinnamon ice-cream, what a treat!!!

Especially when a restaurant choose to pay attention to details down to table cloth, then the restaurant shall be commensurate with praise 👏 No, you won't find Swarovski here. Come on, it's a mom and pop store. Yes, I do see a extension core randomly hanging out. Come on, it's a mom and pop store. What I do find is the server cared and earned his tips, the restaurant manger/owner cared and showed in her ways (and the decor helps too). The chef cares and shown in food. The portion is generous, the shrimps are huge, and everything is delicious. I would like to stop talking about the shop because I do not want to wait for a while next time I come over. He came in from out of town and requested the best Shrimp fettuccini Alfredo and after weeks of research we found this place. “We arrived as the restaurant was opening for the day at 11:00am. The soup and salad lunch was very good and our wait staff was attentive and helpful. There were two large groups of people there celebrating birthdays, so the noise level was a bit higher than at other times I have been, but it was still a good eating experience.“
