I went with the protein bowl, humble bowl, and the buffalo bites (to cover dinner and breakfast). The protein bowl was amazing. I have never had tofu with so much flavor and a nice crisp texture. The kale was so good, I wanted a bowl of it alone! Very filling. The beans and rice in the humble bowl were just as good! “On 02/09/2026, my wife and I dined at Signature in San Antonio, Texas. We were overwhelmed by the service and the menu. Our server Catherine guided us through all four courses. We were amazed by the freshness of all the ingredients and the presentation. The quail was exquisite. The beet salad was to die for, and the venison melted in your mouth. The fried oysters and crispy salmon were amazing. All the staff were very attentive, but I must give high praise to our server Catherine, who made our special evening even more special. “I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

“The food is interesting, varied, and consistently good, with a rotating menu that keeps things fresh. We have visited twice. During our first visit, the service was good but felt like it was missing a final touch. At this price point, I expected a visit from the sommelier, especially since we were considering purchasing one or two bottles of wine. I was also not asked about any dietary restrictions.

Both times we were seated outside. On the first visit, it was surprising how little effort was made to mask the strip mall setting. On the second visit, the sun was directly in our faces. While that is not entirely the restaurant’s fault, the response was limited to offering an umbrella (which we had to request), and we were told indoor seating was not available.

They were also out of several menu items, which was unexpected given that our reservations were early in the evening. Additionally, this is not a kid-friendly establishment, which is worth noting depending on your plans.

Overall, while the food is good, I am unlikely to return. If I do, it would be for the desserts and the yams, which were excellent.“

The overall dinning setting was different than other places I have been to. The lights they chose was very busy but it created a fun atmosphere. I really enjoyed the fact there was no tv, making the dining experience more personal. This was a very interesting place.

The food was pretty good overall. You can get a lunch or dinner deal that comes with a lot of food. The deal will come with a soup, a rice style or noodles, cheese Rangoon or egg roll, and the main dish.

I had the egg drop soup, that was very well balanced between broth, salt, and egg. I had a cheese Rangoon, pretty standard Rangoon, nothing special. A side I had was fried rice, a little plain but if you mix it with other stuff on the plate, it is pretty tasty. Then my main dish was orange chicken. The orange chicken was hot in the temperature department and fresh. The chicken was not heavily breaded and the orange sauce tasted balanced. The meal was delicious and you get so much food, you could share the dish.“
