“The only 2 things would be food since it's a hit or miss, but Luigi's is right next door so it's not that big of a deal; and parking, but bad parking you'll deal with literally anywhere in Houson. I literally never regret coming to Axelrad. I visually here with friends, but sometimes I come for an event and even then it's still a pretty good time. Good for dogs, and a kid friendly place during non-nighttime hours. And the events will vary and be pretty good. This is pretty much a Houston staple to go to.Parking: Not great, but parking around the neighborhood is ok for the most part.Kid-friendliness: Better on Sunday and during the day.“
“honestly, I have never had the food here, but I hear it’s amazing from nearly everyone. I have only come here one time before, but I enjoyed my time very much. I love the size of the lot and also how it is located outside and I’m pretty sure that this is a bar, but I am not exactly sure on that. this is a lovely little space in Houston. That is also a live music venue so they throw shows from time to time. It is awesome to have a great night out here and spend time with family with their all ages events. as always love from Houston and the universe. “My partner and I wandered into this place while walking the dogs. We've now made it our regular spot. They are so kind with the dogs. It feels like they are hosting them as well! They bring them a dog bowl with ice water and a huge dog treat. I got to know Shannon today after seeing her several times, and I can't wait to spend so much more time there. It's a great spot off the beaten path of white oak and it may be my favorite my place to stop in from now on. Here's to many more random visits!“
“These are true magicians of spirits of grape and grain. A semi-cool afternoon and I just wanted a holiday whiskey drink. My wife wanted a refreshing drink herself. These guys delivered better than FedEx. My wife didn't like her initial drink so they took it back and made her a custom cocktail with her favorite spirit. She had 2 more and I had to drive home, of course. The firepits added to a perfect Autumn Saturday afternoon.“

The food on the other hand is pretty overpriced, in my opinion. Gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating.Parking: Parking is to the left of the front of the building. I’ve seen the parking lot full on weekends. However, I’d say there’s usually at least a few spots and it’s usually empty on week days. Also, consider taking the metro light rail, bike, bus, or walk if you can!Kid-friendliness: I would not bring your kid here, but I’ve seen people do it before.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance facing parking lot is totally wheel-friendly. The street-facing entrance takes some steps and has no ramp.“

“Really nice local bar restaurant. The wings were really amazing. They grill them before dropping them into the fryer. The service was great. We sat at the bar and those bartenders were so fast with everything. We ran out of napkins and they were Johnny on the spot with more. This is a hidden Spring Branch Gem. The house drink so good. Even just the smell was awesome. Other customers were super friendly. Can’t say enough about this place. We found our new local go to place.“
“Wow. I LOVE this place. The interior is gorgeous, and they have a great range of dining options ranging from Caribbean to Mexican and so many more. I went to STUSH Caribbean fusion and had the jerk chicken rice which was top tier. The portion sizes are excellent, with me getting a massive Better Than Paloma juice (11/10) from Xíca right next to it. The customer service is amazing, with extremely kind owners. Parking is easy in their connected parking lot. This place needs more hype - I will come back to try everything else!“
“The food here is freaking amazing. Unfortunately, the bbq stops at 4 pm on sunday, but if you can make it, the sunday special is the smoked barbacoa, and it's the best I have ever had! “The place is crowded and nothing crazy. The atmosphere in the bar is very good. The bartender was really really nice. He prepared really good drinks with enthusiasm. They have a lot of TV, so you can watch the games. The food was amazing. I recommend tacos, fajitas and nachos, which were delicious. This is a great place with three areas to experience.You can visit:The bar for pool, darts, watching various sports on the big screens, bartender watching prepare your drinks while sitting at the bar, chatting with friends in den like areas or even enjoying your favorite beverages and foods at tables.The patio is a great place when weather permits. Shade trees a covered areas abound.The dining area is a good place to gather a group.We had a few Half and Half drinks in the bar table area and they were perfect.We also had some Cornbeef and Cabbage. It wasn't so good. The small portion of corned beef was cooked perfectly, but the cabbage missing and instead there was onions with potatoes onion with and a couple slivers of carrots.Paved parking is limited, however there is a parking area accross the street.“

“I went here with some coworkers after dinner to relax and take in the fresh air. I had quite a few drinks before so my opinion is a bit skewed. The atmosphere and vibes here were incredible for a Monday night. It was chilly but their fire stands kept me warm. The bartenders were incredibly nice and were very knowledgeable about the drink menu. I had a coworker acknowledge that they make the best green tea shots, so do what you want with that information. It was definitely a night to remember and hoping to visit again.“
