“I recently hosted a client dinner at Barbacana with a party of 10 and they knocked it out of the park. Chef Christian Hernandez put together a great experience. Every course was well done and the wine pairings were spot on and reasonably priced. It felt like a true culinary experience, not just a client dinner. The service was equally impressive. The staff walked us through each course, explained the ingredients and pairings, and handled our larger group without missing a beat. Chef Hernandez has clearly spent time in Michelin starred kitchens, and that experience shows. It was a great evening for our team and our clients. We will definitely be back.“

“What a fabulous restaurant! My two other guests and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Capital Grille. My sister and I had a beautiful filet cooked to perfection. My other guest ordered the sea bass. She said it was the best she had ever had! Very attentive wait staff. We were headed to the theater afterwards and they were careful to get us out on time. Wonderful experience!“

“Yesterday, for my birthday, my husband took me to the Capital Grille on Sam Houston Parkway for lunch. Kristlyn Tumer served us. She was WONDERFUL. The food was great, the restaurant was warm and welcoming, but Kristlyn added the final touch. “Just adopted our Lauren from here. The concept is really cool. You get to hang out with the cats while giving them treats and drinking coffee. You then get to take the cat you’re interested in home to see if they are a good fit. Cats are very well socialized with people due to the nature of this business and the establishment is very clean. A tip for anyone new who is visiting for the first time. There are 2 sections. One for the more active and playful cats and the other for the more introverted cats. Don’t be afraid to ask to see the other cats. Love this place and I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt.“
