“LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE, I stayed here with my 2 dogs in Oct 2023 at the small blue cabin. And we didn't want to leave the view was soooooo beautiful and that back porch was just as peaceful as it gets! I will be back and I highly highly recommend.“

“If you have never gone, I STRONGLY suggest you give this place a try. You will fall in love with the staff ALONE!!! Then there is the food and the large variety to choose from. Price range is well worth it for all sizes of families, or single, too enjoy from. Food, atmosphere, staff and customers make the price your pay all well worth the visit. It's sooooo satisfying you'll feel your are cheating the restaurant. And WANT to pay more.“

“Not sure why this shows us as a sushi restaurant as there was no sushi on the menu. I would place it more online with being a seafood restaurant.Good food but almost felt overpriced for what it was. We were a group of six so we ordered three entrees and some appetizers and shared which worked well.“

“After trying several places in Port A, this is by far the best seafood I've had. Between the cosy atmosphere, bar games, and friendly staff, I will definitely come back and will also recomend to any one coming this way.“
“Wonderful, service-hearted staff from the hotel to the restaurant. Jen at the front desk gave us a tour without hesitation so we could see more of the rooms. Really recommend the FDR suite for 2+ day stays. Great food! Beautiful rooms, and in great shape for the building’s age and for being in a beach town. You can tell the management and staff really care about the maintenance of everything.Food & drinks: Roosevelt’s was so good, and the photos on Google don’t do it justice. Wish I’d remembered to take photos, but it’s more of a cozy, rustic fine dining restaurant than as casual as it appeared to us on the photos. But the bar, 1886 next door, offers a limited version of Roosevelt’s menu, a more casual atmosphere and great drinks.“

“We've been there twice. The first time, we got sushi and it was very good. I do want to go back and try their hibachi at some point. But their Chinese entrees are pretty lacking. My husband got the Sesame Chicken, which was overly sweet. I got the General Tso's... it has a chili next to it on the menu, but there is absolutely no spice whatsoever.I think if we only stuck to sushi, I would have given it 5 stars. But the entrees are very lacking.“

“This place was great! Our server was friendly and on top of things. The atmosphere is nice and the low light gives it the traditional steakhouse feel. The food came out hot and was delicious, everyone at the table had to sample each other's meals.“

“We had my brothers wedding dinner here last week. We wanted a restaurant over the water. Beautiful restaurant. Great Food. Good staff. But it was so cold in there that we all couldn't even enjoy ourselves much less to hang around for a drink.. The thermostat was set at 61 !!! The whole room cheered when the manager came to turn it up. Pretty disappointing considering the amount of money we spent.“

“This place had AMAZING food! Elevated flavors with that classic fresh seafood that you may be craving. I highly recommend the mermaid soup, exquisite! For dinner, we had scallops and the seafood enchiladas ...it was all amazing. So very good! My scallops were the biggest I've ever seen, and they melted in my mouth! I'll be remember this meal for a long time! ??“

“Their appetizer fries with crab was amazing!My sister and I shared a plate that came with 1 lb of crawfish and 1/2 a pound of shrimp and 2 snow crabs. It was delicious, we got the surging crab seasoning, which is all seasonings. The only thing I recommend is that, if you like spicy food, go for the fire flavor because spicy was not spicy at all.The place is a bit small and customer service was good!!Kid-friendliness: They give you a kids menu with activities and crayons for the kids to color and do the activities on it.“

“We loved brunch here on a Sunday but the service was a bit slow even though we arrived fairly early. I had the omelet (they made it for me with egg whites) and my husband had the Americano with grits. Grits weren't the traditional kind but very good! I would recommend their brunch.“

“Edwin is AWESOME.. missing Giggity's alot ... and sad to see Shorty's move , but understand it is the only way to preserve one of the key pieces of this little chunk of sand's history..kudos for making the effort Edwin!!“
