“My family has been going to Tony’s seafood for years. The food has always been delicious. Authentic, clean, nice big servings & affordable too. They have switched up the menu including new recipes and I’m happy with that. My father loves the seafood soup, my moms favorite chicken fried rice is from them and I absolutely love that stuffed crab!Friendly service and staff. My only complaint or concern rather is the cleanliness around the coke machine, I saw so much dust. Perhaps a deep clean and revamp of the sitting area and restrooms. Again, the food is fresh & tasty, but the FOH isn’t it.“

We ordered The Desayuno (not pictured because my husband dug in before I could snap one) and the 3 Leches French Toast, a latte and a London Fog. All plates were emptied before we left. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and was beautifully plated. They have a collection of house made sauces and oils available to spice up your meal (and you can even purchase some to take home.) Cochinita is a real treat. The neighborhood is worth a cruise after breakfast for the murals, too!“

I ordered the double tat sandwich, with the strawberry cheesecake, and the burger (which I couldn’t grab a picture of) but I can’t even explain to you, from top to bottom the sandwich and the sauce is BANGING, then the burger was perfectly made (personally a medium/rare guy) which he made perfectly. “In a small, converted home on Center Street in DP is one of the best Italian food restaurants I've been to (and that includes Italy, other European countries and even NY). The owner always greets with a smile and the staff are onboard with the mission. The cost is affordable and this mainstay of our community will be here as long as they continue their great service and wonderful food as they always have. “Tried this restaurant after a night out, the food was amazing. They took our order and ~10 minutes our food was ready and fresh from the kitchen. The shrimp basket was shared between two and was delicious. The beignets are a must!!! Overall, a great place to eat with even better food.“

“I'll start by saying I ordered through Grubhub. My final price for my meal was a little over $52. I changed my mind twice about ordering one meal for one person at that price but I was hungry. I am a OTR Truckdriver. I was parked at a Truckstop and I don't eat Mickey D's (McDonald's). So anyway, I ordered a 10" pizza which really would have been enough. I also ordered the almost $20 lasagna. I am not a connoisseur of pizza but I must say my taste buds were very much satisfied. Now for this $20 lasagna. For my taste, it was very good and very satisfying. The portion size was larger than I expected. With that being said the price was understandable and for me very much worth it. I have no "but" or anything negative to say. In closing, the next time I am in this area, this is my go to spot for a good meal. (Please don't change a thing.)“

“Went for lunch with the wife at 2:00 pm. Restaurant clean. All the employees including the owner were super nice. Our food was fresh and great. We decided to have margarita. Sorry no pics. Best part it was happy hour so $5 for one was great and then the boss stopped by and gave us another shot to fill our glass back up on the house. Not the greatest I've had but I will definitely will get another one on our next visit. Overall everytime we go there we are always welcomed with open arms and the food has always been fresh and on point.“

“What a great experience this turned out to be. Peppers is a midsized Non-chain restaurant in Pasadena, Tx. This was my first time here and I was impressed. The building from the outside is beautifully maintained and welcoming, with a uniquely landscaped front garden. Once inside it gets better. We were greated by a friendly young host and taken through an immaculately clean dining room to our table. It is a real, sit down restaurant. It is calm, was quiet, and comfortable. There were couples, small groups, and families with children. Our waiter arrived with menus almost immediately. The menu is not huge but had something for everyone. I don't remember seeing hot dogs but I didn't look at the kid menu. It has a varied offering of steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken, hamburgers, veggies, sides, and appetizers. Oh yeah, and a very nice full bar. They make an excellent lemondrop martini. The serving size of our meals was generous and appealing. Many of the entrees offer a size choice in case you want a smaller meal. The fried catfish and shrimp entree was huge with thick perfectly fried seafood. It made me wish I had some of those shrimp. My pan-seared redfish crabmeat/butter sauce was excellent. The smothered steak was also very tasty with a nice, thick steak burger under gravy and onions. Our sides were not canned or bland. A big fully loaded (no scrimping) baked potato, big, thick asparagus...everything really was upscale quality food and worth the somewhat expensive price. Most of the entrees I was interested in were $16 to $25 dollars that included 2 sides and dinner rolls. But hey, you can barely get anything under $15 dollars at Cheddars and that is for canned, frozen, and mushy food. So yes, if I am getting a nice dinner out I would rather splurge a little and go back to Peppers. I don't know if my food pics do this restaurant justice and I wish I had taken pictures of the really nice dining room. The plates are loaded and presented nicely. The ONLY thing that needs improvement in my opinion is the dinner rolls. They were disappointing. We were too full to try any desert this time. I would recommend Peppers based on an excellent first time dining experience. My parents eat here often.Parking: There is a lot of parking.Kid-friendliness: It seemed that children are very welcome here. There were several children dining. “I was visiting my family in Houston and my cousin took me here for poke. I absolutely loved trying this place - perfect amount of protein, the fish tasted fresh, not too much sauce, and great portion sizes. I even liked how they had utensils corresponding to different levels of expertise, which was funny. The ambiance was nicer inside but there is seating inside and outside. The staff was nice and completed our order pretty fast. I loved the Spicy Shoyu signature bowl with rice as the base, spicy tuna instead of salmon, and seaweed salad added. Usually poke places can be stingy with the amount of protein they add but this place added the perfect amount! I also love seaweed salad so I was ecstatic to see it as a topping. My cousins also loved the Tuna Aioli signature bowl and we all finished the regular size, so it was great portion sizes. Can't wait to visit Houston again and eat the Spicy Shoyu bowl again!“

“Place is cramped and the building is old. If you can get passed that, you'll have some of the best micheladas out there. The place is nice and affordable. The service may not be there but everyone is nice and just trying to get through all the chaos. I recommend you sitting inside the building instead of facing the windows. It's much easier to get help and service on the inside seats. Just a little protip. If you never been.If you come from the Katy location. You'll be surprised. I say wait to go to Tom's boat until you are back in Katy. Tom's boat very much reflects the east side vibe if you know what I mean. I love the place. It's not a knock. I'm from the east side too.“

“I had a beef quesadilla and two tacos Al pastor. The beef was a little tough. So typical with taquerias in that they tend to cook their meats to death. The flour tortilla was awesome. The cheese was amazing and overall, I enjoyed the quesadilla. Red salsa was great.The Al pastor was tender but lacked flavor on its own. I added a little salt and green sauce. The corn tortillas are delicious. With the salt, onions, cilantro and green sauce, the tacos tasted great!.I'll definitely be back.“

I got the huevos rancheros with three eggs, beans, potatoes, bacon, and it came with Pancakes. Also got coffee. It was only $10! I think it was too cheap but very good. They need to go up on their prices as I know they have bills to pay. Left her a $10 tip on top of the ticket.I had to drive to the other end of town to find a restaurant that was open and this is the only one I can find because of freezing weather. Everybody was closed, but they were on duty and Cooks were ready to give you a good meal. I'll be back to enjoy the wonderful food.“

“Nice clean modern decor.Beautiful looking food (pics attached).Simple menu, mostly Salvadoran with some common Mexican dishes.Food was authentic, fresh, hot and very good.The scratch made corn tortillas were on point.We ordered a chicken fajita taco & birria taco (pic); the chicken was grilled perfect & the birria was full of flavor..Also ordered a breakfast plate w over easy eggs, [Salvadoran] chorizo, fried potatoes & refried beans (pic); very enjoyable.A beef fajita taco was ordered also but was devoured in quick fashion soo (no pic).Not huge portions but very satisfying.Its not your everyday taqueria breakfast taco type of place and doesnt want to be.This is a very decent sit down restaurant, order a 3 course meal, enjoy your conversation and savor your food type of place.We will return and order pupusas next time which are cooked to order like most places so there may be a little extra wait but not a deal breaker for us.Next visit I would also like to order one of my favs, fried plantain usually served with Salvadoran beans or black beans along with Salvadoran type sour cream.“
