I missed the sauce sooo much and today we decided to check it out.We got seated and was then told we could order through the phone or the register. They had a good playlist that made me feel like i was back in SA. We place an order through the phone and it was surprisingly easy ( i’m not good with technology but it wasn’t difficult at all). there was cups next to the fountain drink area so we served ourselves and the food was delivered no more than 10 minutes afterwards which was fast! It was a slow day due to the rain so i understand but get this, it was delicious!The sauce, same as i remembered! To remind you i used to eat that sauce with everything!!! i tried hot and toned down to medium because i’ve mellowed down on spicy food since i lived there but still was amazing!I ordered the boneless butterflied breast with peri chips (fries) with perinnayise, and the portuguese rice, and my boyfriend ordered the same breast with the peri mac and red skinned mashed potatoes, everything was delicious. The only thing is my man is not a big fan of fat so he had to scrape it off but he was still impressed!!We will definitely be going back and i highly recommend this place! The fried mushrooms came out hot and were very good, especially with the ranch dressing on the side. I ordered the chick meal which is three chicken tenders, fries, toast, and a drink, I chose blue cheese as my dip. It was more than enough to fill me up for the evening. The tenders were, well tender, and fried in a delicious coating that stuck to the meat, unlike other tenders places where the batter falls off. The fries were pretty good, could have been saltier, in my opinion. The toast was crunchy with a slight garlic taste, very good. I recommend this place and will be back again.“

The two ladies working the floor greeting customers and delivering orders go above and beyond and NOT in an obnoxious way like some restaurants do. Just left there, it’s a rainy day and all these workers kept coming in with muddy and wet/boots, well as soon as they would leave the two ladies would clean it right up along with the tables, this location is spotless including the restrooms! My order was made right, delicious and came out in only a couple of minutes. Even as I got up to throw away my tray/trash, one of the ladies told me “it’s okay sir I got it” I mean cmon man ??. Not too sweet. The young lady who took my order in the drive thru was super friendly as well. She was patient with me because I had been to Raising Cane’s in over a year and had forgotten the menu. One thing I never eat is the sauce that comes with the meal. Once, years ago, at another location off of 610 near the Heights, I received sauce that was not kept at the right temperature and it made me extremely sick. So much so I had to leave work and go to the doctor to get an injection to stop me from vomiting. I have been hesitant to try Raising Cane’s since that experience, but since I knew it had to have been the sauce, I decided to try the strips, fries, and toast with no sauce.“

Fajitas had a really good flavor, it was odd not to get a tortilla with the fajitas, but it was fine, but I never got my borracho beans in place of the refried beans that I had asked for.The chicken on the salad had a flour taste and was very thin chicken.They were so busy. Needed more servers. We had to go to the bar to get our drinks when we wanted more, but they put them on our tab, so that was OK. The band was good, they charged $10 on top of the tab for being there. The dancing area was just right. We had a great time. “If you came here to buy crazy polonecks, it'd be El Polo Loco, but that's not what's here, at all. One of my favourite chains in America because they offer great deals on very delicious fresh chicken, and it doesn't taste like fast food at all, not to mention they're very yummy, especially the very spicy green sauce that you can ask for. That sauce makes it all worthwhile. I just get the half chicken dark meat (legs n thigh only) with no sides and it's perfect for pre or post lifting, and only costs about $6. Note that if you get white meat it's considerably more money. This is my go-to El Pollo Loco location, and I was going to give it five stars for the longest time because I had so many good experiences here and so much good chicken here, but sometimes it's just dry and awful, and there are a couple of very shady people working here, and that's why I haven't visited much lately. I know I only spend 6-7 dollars here, but I am poor and I want it to be worth it. Of course, most of them are really nice, but if you get one of the bad ones, it can be a really bad experience and not so much fun. So I did have a couple of times when it was a nightmare and so it just depends on who you get. But overall it's a very good location to come to. That's this: EXTREMELY good. So my order included to pieces of catfish, a cup of mashed red potatoes WITH skins and a roll, piping hot, all for $7.57 including tax. The roll was definitely a generic roll, and the fish frozen. Like I said, the food reminds you of solicited to-go plates. And it was so, so good, in my opinion, definitely a nice lunch spot. “I had my favorite, chicken Breakfast bowl with yogurt and an orange juice. I was turned on to the cookie crumble for the yogurt topping by a lovely young at this location weeks prior. I ordered the cookie crumble topping again but when I opened the bag at work it was granola. I was a bit disappointed because that cookie topping is AMAZING. I still ate every bite of the granola topping and yogurt but with a sad heart.“
