If you’re a coffee lover like me, prepare to have your taste buds elevated to a whole new level with Katz Coffee! I had the pleasure of taking a behind-the-scenes tour of their facility, and let me tell you – it was like walking through caffeine heaven. The aroma alone could make anyone swoon! ?

But it’s not just about how delicious their coffee is (though, seriously, it's SO good I could probably run a marathon after a cup). What really impressed me was their heart. Katz Coffee isn’t just about brewing the perfect roast—they’re brewing positive change in the community. I was thrilled to learn they actively support Veterans with PTSD and other incredible causes. Their commitment to giving back is just as strong as their coffee game.

So, if you love your cup of joe to come with a side of doing good, Katz Coffee is where it's at. Plus, who doesn’t want to start their day knowing their caffeine fix is making the world a little better?

“I'm not sure anyone will be ready for the love I'm about to unload about Cambrian in this review.. so brace yourself and try to stay with me. If you can't make it through the full review definitely scroll down and at least read the part about the sandwich cookies! For your own benefit. ;) I try to wait and visit a place at least a few times before writing a review to be sure that the experience I had is consistent. I can now proclaim that I am like a Cambrian *regular* to put it lightly so what I'm going to include here is the ultimate truth. --The people here rock. ROCK! I know that when looking for a coffee shop its not always about the people but sometimes about the.. coffee? But, if you can get killer coffee served to you via ultra friendly humans.. it really takes it to the next level. My favorite coffee item for the summer is the Cambrian Iced Latte with Oatmilk (flavor is like honey and cinnamon). In winter I get the same thing but hot, or the vanilla syrup. They have way more hard core stuff and slow pours and all that but this is just me. --People go crazy for their sausage rolls. I can't really comment on these personally because I'm not really into meat but my husband, brother and basically everyone I've ever gotten one for (and apparently everyone on the internet) absolutely love them. --I CAN personally attest to the deliciousness of the samosas. So, so bomb. Flaky and well seasoned. The perfect savory baked good! --They have these cool little blue coins to "coffee forward". You buy them and give them to someone so they can come in for a free coffee item. People at the post office totally know about them now and I love to give them out around town! You can even buy them to have them apply to people who come in throughout the day! --There's other stuff like coffee roaster rotations, homemade vanilla syrup, delicious breakfast loaves, clean bathrooms and cool art. They also know how to properly serve tea! --THE SANDWICH COOKIES. I'm trying to keep this clean but I really wanted to say THE *FKN* SANDWICH COOKIES bc I need to emphasize how truly amazing and life altering these cookies are. I live in Houston, ok? I've been to lots of bakeries. Have I EVER had a cookie better than Gemma's sandwich cookies? No. No, I have not. They are a dream and I seriously salivate just thinking about them. I base my errands and outings around getting a sandwich cookie on the weeks that they are serving them. I mean, all of the cookies are phenom. The toffee? You'll hurt yourself they're so good. The peanut butter cup-oatmeal magic she does? Instant addiction. But these sandwich cookies.. like for real- words can't describe. They are art and that buttercream is second to none. I even have a favorite way to eat each of the flavors! I know this sounds extreme but I am telling you! So good!! They have the perfect amount of salt to keep these rich magical babies in balance and make them more adult than other sandwich cookies. Go have one! Try all the flavors! Also get me one. haha Taryn's sandwich-cookie eating process for full flavor effect: Lemon poppyseed needs to be eaten straight-up like a sandwich. The molasses/gingerbready guy needs to have his top taken off and eaten alone. THEN eat the bottom part with the frosting on top. DROOL The chocolate peanut butter needs to go into your mouth like a wheel so its like cookie on the right and left and frosting in the middle. For real! Take one regular sandwich bite and then rotate that thing to wheel into your mouth as you bite and its going to change your life. The butterscotchish one in the pictures? You can eat that one ANY.WAY. and each bite will still be perfect.“

“We rented Klein Coffee for my daughter's 16th birthday. It was the perfect place for 10 sixteen year old to hang out, dance around, and drink their favorite coffees. We ordered pizzas and brought in cupcakes. The adults sat out and let the kids enjoy the fun inside. Rose, the owner, couldn't have been more accommadating. I definitely reccomend for an easy teen party.“

“This place is great. They have a welcoming atmosphere. The owner works the register sometimes so we have great conversations.
The food is amazing. I love the buzz burger and my husband gets the spicy chicken sandwich. The smoothies are healthy and they taste impeccable. The price is decent too for Houston. We spend about 35-40 dollars for two meals depending on what add ons we get.

They don’t get the orders wrong and if they ever do they are more than happy to fix it. I comfortable going here with the family pet and the baby. So if you’re a dog mom or you have kids. It’s a good atmosphere for them too. They have a patio out front where you can sit. 10/10.“

“I finally got to go there and i absolutely loved the place. I was originally drawn to the place for the name, but didn’t for one second think i was going to like it as much as i did. The coffee is very good and most of all the welcoming atmosphere. Mike goes out of his way to welcome you and lets everyone who walks in know that our business is appreciated. We flew in from overseas and I told my wife I will go here for coffee simply because they are military friendly. Their Smokey Joe was interesting! Never had a smoked flavored coffee before! “Wow!!! The minute I walked in, I could smell the deliciously fresh breads coming out from the oven. The restaurant is clean and vibrant! There are plenty variety of bánh mì to choose from. They the meat and ingredients are also fresh and you can watch the people making it. The Vietnamese is delicious and refreshing. The minute a took a bite, I can hear the crunch from bánh mì and vegetables, the richness/fatiness from the butter and pate with different slices of meat is a burst of wonders in my mouth! The interaction with the service people was friendly and warming. Besides bánh mì, this place also has rice and vermicelli noodle dishes too! Definitely recommended ?“

“You can find a quality cup of Italian coffee and fresh pastry here. The pastries taste fresh not like they’ve been frozen and reheated. The best part is the convenience of accessing the location relative to other coffee shops in the area. You can get to the coffee shop from the access road going north but you also have the option to exit going south via the Kroger parking lot rather than being forced to exit and go all the way down the access road to u-turn. Nearby popular chain coffee shops aren’t that easy to access.“

“We found this gem of a Tea House and we have never had ANYTHING that was less than amazing from here. Our go to is the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea (soooo yummy) with Sea Salt Foam. We have tried a wide variety of drinks and they are all really good. I highly recommend this spot.“

“First, I have to say that the oak roasted coffee at Summer Moon is the smoothest coffee I've bought anywhere!

The only negatives I've experienced here are from lack of attentiveness about a couple of things on my most recent visit:
First, not noticing that they were serving lukewarm drip coffee. I had already left the drive-through before I took a sip, but when I realized it was cool enough to gulp down a full cup of black coffee...that was disappointing to say the least.
Second, either not noticing or just ignoring the fact that the lid on one of the cups didn't fit or seal at all. That happened to be the cup that was actually hot...so I ended up with hot coffee leaking out all over my hand. The lid was pressed down all the way, but was so loose that it could freely turn around on the cup. Not sure if it was too big or the cup was slightly bent/deformed, but it would be impossible to put this lid onto a cup without noticing it. That's basically guaranteeing your customer will end up with some scalded fingers. The only reason I didn't notice it before leaving is because my order was handed to me in a drink carrier, but once I picked it up, it was not a good experience.“
