“The absolute best ice cream I’ve ever had. My fiancé and I are on keto, so we got the keto banana ice cream. I’d suggest leaving it out for 20-30 minutes. It has the BEST texture and flavor! I have also tried the lavender and blueberry cheesecake ice cream, and the lavender is hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. The owners are incredibly kind, and very knowledgeable about their ice cream. I also noticed when my daughter (3) had her blueberry cheesecake ice cream, she didn’t act totally nuts like she usually does with sugar. Love it!!!“

“Was in town for business. Great local ice cream shop. Smooth, delicious and flavorful (but not in-your-face). I had the coffee-something and the chocolate-n-cookies. The two folks working there were friendly and helpful even though we showed up when it was almost closing time. I would definitely visit again. If you live in SE Houston, you should try it.“

“This place usually serves as an after school treat to celebrate something, and it’s never disappointing. There are 31 flavors to choose from, and I ordered a scoop of peanut butter chocolate and a scoop of rocky road. Both flavors were rich and creamy. The prices are reasonable and there are no problems with the service. They also have ice cream cakes ready to buy in the store. When I came, if you got two scoops, the waffle cone came free. Overall a great experience.“

Great prices too, some other favorites is the Rusas drink and fruit salad with Chile and chamoy. Very helpful employees and very clean/organized atmosphere. “Our trip in with our school children of 13 today was fabulous! We learned about how to create the ice cream from the cream to the machine to the storage process and into our tummies. It was so yummy. We also learned how to bake great American cookies decorate them and get them out to customers who are looking for a fabulous birthday treat! The owners were warm and inviting and so friendly! It by far was one of our best field trips!“

“Went in today around 9pm and of course it was busy due to everyone being out of power. I wasn’t able to get the lady behind the counters name, but she was so incredibly patient and kind despite it being busy. She was really kicking butt. She deserved every bit of the tips she received. She definitely makes me want to return.“

“I love this place so much I'm going to go eat there with my wife right now. Freddy's has usurped Whataburger for me and it was my first job because I've always enjoyed it so much.

Point to make too. Every time I open the whataburger app everything is always more expensive (about every 3 weeks.) Freddy's? They kept steady and actually LOWERED THE PRICE BY 20 CENTS FOR SOME THINGS. That's insanely awesome when everyone else keeps raising them to see what they can get away with. Current date is October 30, 2024.

“I come here on average of 5 days a week, and I LOVE it here. The staff is always friendly and hardworking. I was just there today, and they were busy. I was so happy to see so many people in there (it was only 8 people in there + me), but it felt nice to know they were getting business. The three people I saw tonight did their job man. I really hope they get payed well. If you have never been here before and need a recommendation of which ice cream to get; Blue cotton candy with rainbow sprinkles is the best ice cream + topping combo I’ve ever had. “Under new ownership! The change is amazing and definitely noticeable. A much needed new scene for Watauga. Very welcoming and inviting for any age groups. They have over 20+ flavors of ice creams as well as over 20+ types of mix ins. Also the CLEANEST food establishment that I’ve ever been to. The staffs are super friendly and clean, wipes everything down, from the doors you enter/exit, to the tables AND chairs you sit at. 10/10 experience. Delicious, fresh flavors. My go to is either the banana toffee or the butter pecan pretzel toffee. Butter Pecan Ice Cream or Banana Ice Cream w/ caramel and Heath bar, and add pretzels for the sweet and salty combo! Yummm. If you are ever on Denton Hwy, or going to target, you literally cannot miss them! They’ve got a new sign to establish new ownership.“

“the toppings were very much lacking and disorganized even though the place was empty and the employee was just standing behind the register since we walked in. one of the soft serve machines was not working and dripping/leaking. i pointed it out and she just said "yeah, you shouldn't use that one" the ice cream we got wasn't bad. the prices were reasonable. but the tidyness, and cleanliness and upkeep leave a lot to be desired-------edit- hey there, thanks for your reply. the boba (the little squishy mango balls ? ) were like 99% empty except for a random stragler here and there, the surrounding toppings were also in disaray and the cheesecake bite bits only had enough toppings for one of the 3 people in our party to use any at all, and no mandarins or berries (except maybe blue berries?) . i appreciate your response though, we were there maaaybe 3 weeks ago on a satruday, it was one of the really hot days of summer before the hurricane warning .the staff person, there were 2 i believe was a young female at the register who saw super nice, and the person going back and forth appeared to be restocking or stocking the frozen treats you sell, like cakes.thanks for your responsiveness! you get a star for that !“

“Coming to Menchie’s is always a fun and tasty experience. Whether you come here after a long day of work or school,or just for a summer treat, the frozen yogurt will always satisfy you. There are lots of good choices of flavors, and I appreciate how new flavors are rotated through the list frequently. There are also many toppings to choose from, including crushed Oreos, chocolate chips, sprinkles, crushed peanuts, M&Ms, and much more. There are three different chocolate syrups, a marshmallow syrup, and a Reese’s peanut butter syrup. You can also take home the spoons they provide you with, adding a nice touch to the place. The interior is clean and decorated well. Always a treat.

Parking: People come and go, so there are always parking spots available.“

“This place is really cool. Different than your typical ice cream shop in the mall. While my family and I were at Bay brook mall we decided to get some ice cream. After looking at the menu we were all interested since they roll up the ice cream and put on several sides giving it a more "fancy" look. I ordered the Biscotti ice cream bowl. My girls ordered the cookies n cream and the smores. It was a little busy being a Sunday at the mall so it took a little longer to get our order.. which wasn't a big deal. I could see all the employees working hard on the orders. You are able to watch them make it which I found interesting. After we got our order.. seeing it in person was even better than the menu pics. The Biscotti I got was the most delicious ice cream I've ever had! One full cookie and little pieces of cookie on top w a caramel drizzle. I tried the cookies n cream and smores.. which were also really good but the Biscotti was my favorite. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a delicious ice cream snack while visiting the mall!“
